And if I like it, Neech will LOVE it!

that's a problem. I'll need to fix that later today.

Crap now it's gone. If I'd known it would be so fleeting I would have linkified like a mofo.

Should be "fixed" now.

It's back to the old one. That new thing this morning was pretty cool. Any reason the one from earlier today isn't being used?

I guess I don't know what the difference is between the new one and the old one? All I did to "fix" it was make sure that it strips out any HTML in the URL description.

BTW, that looks painful. Self-portrait?

When I used it this morning, it offered to.....holy shit never mind....

I've been putzing around with the blue "add URL" thing just below the text window all this time and only this AM pressed the grey "URL" button down there between "preview" and "spell check"

Now people really are going to believe I'm the Neech.

Bornyo,
If you're using Firefox, take a look at the BBCodeXtra Add-on. You type in the text, copy a URL, highlight and right click on the text for the link, move the cursor over bbcodextra, clipboard, then select "Make Selection URL" and the link is built.

Bornyo --

Is that your dog? Really?

If so, nice-looking dog.

That is an excellent add-on and I use it many times a day, as you might guess.

I haven't investigated it to see how it works in practice compared to what it sounds like, but it honestly doesn't sound that much easier than typing "(url=)" to me.

Sometimes I think we like to fool ourselves into thinking our gadgets save us time.

It explains quite a few kitchens - plus the large accumulations of extentions.
