Yeah, I don't like this either, mainly because I use a Roku to watch on my large screen TV, which requires 29.97 fps, which means that if I want to watch a particular scene I have to re-encode it first so that it has the correct frame rate.

In terms of the content (as opposed to the frame rate issue), what's bugging me lately are some of the "mini-feature" aspects of many of the scenes. I don't mind some sort of little story or set-up, but when it starts to get overly elaborate and interrupts the actual sex or makes the sex not look as good as it should, that's where I draw the line. The Vanessa Decker scene from a couple of days ago is a perfect example. This whole concept of her being a video game streamer just took too much away from the sex itself. It was distracting.

I agree with this sentiment. Personally, I like some sort of set up to a scene and Brazzers use to be great at that but now there are scenes where the setup is longer than the actual sex. That's crazy. Give me the sexy secretary with the short skirt and big boobs bending over, etc, making the boss drool but I don't need 10 or 15 minutes of it before the sex starts.
^For me it's not a question of how long the set-up is but whether the pay off is worth the trouble of having it. I don't care if the set-up is 5, 10 or 15 minutes but it should be there so that what follows is improved by having it in the scene and not something that is almost useless to the rest of the scene. In my opinion it almost never is. In fact most of them are so badly done that in many ways they diminish the final product. Mind you this is not indicative of only the stuff Brazzer produces but what almost every other porn producer does. For any scenario to work requires that the performers involve have the acting talent to play their designated role, that they actually practice it a few times to get the kinks out of the scene and that the person behind the camera is interested in more than the sex part of the scene.

The scenario that drives me fucking crazy is where there are periodic cuts over to the people in another room that are eating or doing something besides having sex. It's just absolutely the most annoying and obnoxious thing to do in a scene.
The problem I have with the set ups isn't that I don't like porn with a story it's that, since the early 2000s, porn has gone nearly 100% gonzo and as a result porn performers have no idea how to act. There's nothing erotic about two (or more) bad actors saying lines at each other, particularly if those lines are themselves awful. This criticism applies even more to anything by Lansky - does anyone find the usual "my boyfriend was away for work" narration and lead-in anything but irritating?
^I agree that the bad acting is probably one of the biggest reasons why most scenarios fail but what I don't know is if it's because the performers are bad actors or they can't forget that they are porn performers first. What I mean is that when I look at a porn performer playing a role. I don't see a real character so much as the porn performer's interpretation of what that role should be and because of that the entire scenario is wasted and what you wind up with is basically the old pizza delivery guy getting paid with sex. Even if Brazzer had talented performers both capable and willing to act specific roles. They wouldn't use them because it would take a lot more time and money to shoot those scenes and that is not something studios can now afford to do.

Actually, I kind of like some of the Lansky set-ups, at least the ones on Blacked. The main thing that he does right (in my opinion) is that he keeps it fairly simple and straightforward. Oh, and also, he doesn't try to be funny. Brazzers is constantly trying to make comedy porn, which is fucking stupid.

I think they probably are spending a fair amount of money on some of these scenes already. They're bringing in performers for non-sex roles, they're probably building out some sets here and there. For the Vanessa Decker scene, they had to spend some time on video editing to simulate a Twitch chat window. This shit all costs money. So they're spending more money to make shitty, unwatchable scenes. On the flip side, Brazzers is cheap as hell and even though they fuck up some scenes, there's still a ton of good content. I'll look into that. I settled on the Roku a couple of years ago because it was a useful device to have anyway for streaming Netflix and Amazon, but also because I couldn't find another dedicated media player that worked very well. And, for what it's worth, whatever restrictions Roku puts on content don't apply to playing video files. But, I'll take a look at the Kodi.

Is it just me (and my old iPad) or is their site not at all compatable with a tablet? I swear, the last time I had a membership, it was impossible to use. From the page stalling to browser crashes, trying to use the site on my iPad was an exercise in futility.
Brazzers is a good site, it has the content that targets their demographic but over time the demographic does change. We are seeing a LOT of hot women coming through and a lot get missed. I could name a decent sized list, some to just through out there - Sadie Blair (sadly missed major companies), Kirsten Lee (1 average scene w/ Lee), Scarlett Sage (1 good scene)... I feel they could do well if they focused a bit more on widening their casting range both female and male. Their production quality and color correction / film look is usually their drawcard. There are plenty of hot women to choose from, they pop up week in week out. A pretty easy formula to follow... Tease (e.g look at ElegantAngel's successful period) / Script Roleplay > Fucking > Great cumshot / huge facial, creampie = win Since they don't use Johnny Sins much anymore - if at all, they just stuck with their main males with a few average-at-best new guys. For me, I enjoy seeing a girl get facialed - Kyle Mason & Jovan Jordan can do this easily, very underrated talent in my opinion. Brazzers still does some great scenes (Big Wet Butts) but it seems as like there is a lot of the same. They definitely know how to cast lots of "big tits" category women, but it isn't for everyone (it is their niche market).

^ MindGeek rotates their male talent around their various membership sites (much more so than they used to). With Johnny Sins, he was kind of taking a break while he and Kissa were working on their own projects. He's been showing up more frequently again.
The last few months they seem to be bulk buying scenes from actresses and it's pretty disheartening to see the same girl in yet another scene. Monique Alexander - I like her a lot (I admit I do prefer the pre-boob job Monique though), but I don't need to see her in an update almost every week for a month. They aren't the only ones guilty of this, NA seem to do similar - Diamond Jackson is one I've noticed seems to have a few scenes out in in a short period - but, despite the volume of other content per week it still feels lazy.

Yeah, they obviously make these deals with the girls where they shoot a bunch of scenes, probably all in the same week, and so we see these waves come through. Right now, it's Monique Alexander, Angela White, and Jessa Rhodes. It's a bit annoying, but this is how they provide 2 scenes/day, and if the girl is someone you like, then that's good for you. Personally, I'd like to see a shift away from so many older female performers and towards more of the 18-22 crowd with super tight bodies, but I kind of doubt that will happen.
^ It's Brazzers. You'll be lucky if you get one in a TLIB update and another on Hot & Mean each week. When you sign up for Brazzers, you're signing up for big tits (real or fake doesn't matter) and usually big dicks. If you're signing up for any other reason you're better off joining for a month every few months or so. And personal opinion, this Power Rangers parody is terrible. ^ funny thing that TLIB was updated yesterday with a Jaye Summers Scene and also twice today with a Lily Jordan Scene and a Star Del Ray Debut Scene.
My attitude about Brazzers is basically the same as it is for Naughty America: The pretty robust archive is worth the cost of membership alone, but there has been a bit of a dip in quality these last couple of years. One thing I still give them credit for is they do rotate in a lot of new faces, which can be good for variety-sake. From a purely personal viewpoint, I was really bummed that they stopped releasing CFNM content (as it's one of my favorites). But I've noticed that specific niche doesn't really attract much in the way of popularity.
I think that what really is missing on brazzers is creativity . The storylines are bad,poor scripts, etc no creativity . At first I really like the kaizen crew for their Hollywood porn parodies lol . Then it has become too repetitive with the same stud danny d . I know hes the contract stud. And when it comes to fucking - they put a hot girl with a small / weak stud . I am not a fan of keiran lee , dera , lawless , kyle mason . I watch guys like dupree , xander , sins , brick , bailey , jmac , jordi , jessy jones . If u look at their scenes , they dont get the hot premium scenes . keiran lee is brazzers corporate stud / guy . Hes the brazzers guy . And i dont like it because he has too much power. He can book his girls. They dont have time , too busy . Look at todays scenes . It so pure and simple -botched scenes .

I think Brazzers did drop off a couple of years ago, but I've seen them take measures to try to improve and bring the quality back up. The British filmed content really helped them reset US content production, and Danny D has been a great actor to build a lot of humorous scenes with, not to mention being a great performer. I still see them doing a lot of the fake tit pornstar look girls, which is exactly what I subscribe to them for! If they changed that model, they'd be like the dozens of other porn houses doing "natural" look women. It's weird enough that we now live in a world where I have to complain there are too many natural look porn girls. I love that they're getting Angela White in for scenes regularly - she's fantastic. I look at upcoming right now and we have an Angela Scene, a Skyla Novea scene, Romi Rain, Phoenix Marie, and Cory Chase; all women I am happy paying to see! Now if they'd only pair Angela with Danny for a few scenes...

Brazzers scene struggle to get 500 likes and 100k views now ah days. Back in the days every scene was a sure 1k likes over the weekend and a quarter mill views. Imho, it a combination of both bad female and male talent.

^ still a viewer number other companies dream to have.besides that similar sites like DigitalPlayground RK or Mofos also owned by the mother company.so no biggie if a scenes gets 100k plus viewers or 200k viewers.plus in the viewers numbers on the site pretty sure the downloads are not counted in that number,just the streamer and plenty of members prefer downloading instead of streaming.

I get the feeling that in some ways the major industry players have kind of settled into their niches where business may not be as huge as it once was, but it's steady and predictable. Did anyone catch that new girl, Vivian Azure's, scene? She's gorgeous and could be something special if she stays in the game. I haven't found too much on her though, besides a scene she did with Chanel Preston and Criss Strokes, but she doesn't do much in that one.
Yep, they waste some seriously hot talent. There are plenty of young girls popping up with big natural boobs too which caters to their main market. Once you see a few fake tits, they really don't appeal as much unless they are on a hotter than last time performer - which is rare when Brazzers cast. I'd sub if it was worth it, but for me I just don't like seeing the same thing over and over. Its because they have other sites for teens etc, they neglect the younger talent that - lets be honest - gets more beautiful every year. The parodies are hardly great, sometimes its better off putting those extra dollars into a first anal, first DP or just a showcase of one or two women. But hey, they obviously do well enough with their current system.
Let me get in explaining the succes of www.girlsway.com The Brazzers managers only look at the figures but don't ask for real customer feedback like Girlsway. So, when a scene is poorly rated perhaps its not the theme but the way of shooting, bad acting, bad script etc. But they never will know because they don't ask. They don't even take te time to take a look on ADT
^ Girlsway is the best at soliciting and using feedback from their subscribers. They literally ask us for casting and scene suggestions. Other site runners could learn a lot from their business model. I happily pay my monthly fee because I know it's worth it.
The problem is that Brazzers' customer base is so diverse that any attempt to solicit detailed member comments on performers, sex acts etc. would just result in about 300 different bits of mutually contradicting feedback. Hell, just look at any random complaint about male performers in the scene comments - I think the only one it's possible to complain about without getting downvoted into oblivion is Jordi, everybody else has both a large fanbase and a large amount of detractors. It would be the same with any other relevant issue Brazzers could poll their members on. And because many of their customers will complain for a short time but will keep their subscriptions anyway. As for me, I have been a loyal Brazzers subscriber for many years. I like porn with funny stories that don't get in the way of the sex. The overall quality of the scenes has gone down for a while now. Not because of the female talent, not because of the production value, but mostly because many of the scenes are now directed by performers like Keiran Lee or Danny D, who may be good performers (although overused), but whose directorial skills are clearly lacking. The recent Kayla Kayden DP is a good example. It was directed by Keiran Lee and the boring camera angles ruined most of it. Kayla would have deserved better for her first DP scene. Still there have been enough good scenes for me to keep my subscription. Until now. But this drastic deterioration of HD quality by cutting the bitrate in half is a slap in the face of their loyal customers. I can and will not accept this. I won't renew my subscription.
Their image sets are OTT too, each one contains between 400-800 images per set, but it's quantity over quality. Alot of them look a bit off too, like they've had some sort of artificial effect added.
Last time I looked, Brazzers image sets were compressed to about 200 kb per image, sometimes even less. A 2500px JPG is going to look horrible with that amount of compression.

Just purchased a membership for the first time in a while (like an entire year). Trying to watch scenes on my iPad, one problem I've found is that the "Jump to Action" feature does not work on it, although it does work when I'm streaming scenes on my laptop.
