I remember posting on here about a year ago, complaining that my sex drive was too high and I found it to be a problem!
Now I've gone the opposite way and I'm liking this even less, I miss feeling horny!
I'm 32 years old, healthy and not feeling stressed but I'm only wanting/having sex once a week with my gf and even that is starting to feel like too often, it's not that I don't find her attractive or desire someone else, it's I'm just not feeling horny! I'd add that I have only "watched" porn twice this year! I have been seeing the odd escort and have found this to be huge turn on and am wondering if this has made the "real" world a little dull.
Is it that once you reach your mid 30's, that this happens to guys?

I'm not an expert, but it sounds like pseudo-monogamy has made you extremely bored. I think that is natural. Getting exciting extras on the side probably only makes it worse.

No. I just turned 50, I still feel like I'm 20, and I'm horny all the time.

I notice I'm on a downward grade, but I also attribute it to other things. If I were dating, I'd be much more interested.
Some of it might be physical. A change of diet might help. For awhile I was taking a now-discontinued vitamin suppliment, and I noticed it had a positive effect on my libido. I'd love to know what the ingredient was that did it.
But some of it might well be psychological. People get bored. No matter what you do, a sameness sets in and the fun and titilation ebbs away.

Are you in a long term relationship bobcat?.maybe you are not ready to settle down and crave the excitement and fun that escorts can provide,or maybe you just need to find that spark sexually with your partner again.

Yes, I'm in a LTR with a great girl whose's my lover and best friend, I don't want or need to change her!
I have lots of opportunities and funds to see escorts, I've seen girls that are the equal of any of those discussed on these boards and had some great times with them, but I've even started to loss motivation to do this, even though it's very easy for me to arrange! I do feel like I've done everything I want to sexually, and with all types of women, I'm well over 100 partners!
The only thing I've changed this year, is that I've been doing a massive fitness regime, gym for 3 days a week and 30-40k cross country mountain biking the other 4.
I don't feel tierd but I'm beginning to wonder if working out is taking the edge of my sex drive?

Increased fitness and activity should increase your libido, if anything. Although, if you were seeking sex as an anti-stress activity rather than as a sexual release route, you simply may be getting that from the exercise and not feeling a need for it otherwise.
Are you taking a vitamin supplement? I know it sounds lame, but micronutrients are a huge part of what makes your body run "just right". If you're building new muscle tissue and changing the fat composition of your body, you are using up and breaking down micronutrients you may not have been using/breaking before and you may not be getting the right stuff in your usual diet now, when you were before.
A good quality multivitamin will have all the usual A,B,C,s in it, but make sure you get one that also has:
Iodine
Zinc
Selenium
Chromium
Molybdenum
Potassium
As a man person, if you're a meat/egg eater, avoid taking iron (if you can, multivitamins almost always contain iron - although some of the types that are 'just for men' don't have it, or have a lower dose). Multivitamins don't have to be taken every day, every other day or third day is usually enough. (since you're not pregnant or going through a growth spurt or experiencing a significant nutritional deficit)

I'm not taking any vitamins but I do think I'm eating a balance diet, my weight has been constant all year at 88-90kg, despite the huge amout of work I've been putting in,body fat has gone but muscle has increased. I think I'm running pretty much ok.
I do wonder if the same chemical endorphins are released during extreme physical excerise as in sex, I do have that certain "glow" about me after a workout, It might be that it's a sex substitute? I will have to try and research this.

I can only imagine what you think a "balanced diet" is. I'm not talking about calories, fats, carbs and proteins. I'm not even asking if you get enough dark leafy greens and whole fruits and veggies. I'm specifically talking about micronutrients, something most people don't think twice about.
Take iodine, for example, world-wide very few populations that don't have a heavy seafood diet get enough iodine. Goiters and other evidence of iodine deficiency were so prevalent in the US that when the connection between iodine and thyroid function was finally made, it was quickly made a supplement in salt and white bread.
Then people get told that high sodium diets are bad for them, and to lay off the salt shaker, or switch to non-sodium salts - which aren't iodized. They also get told that high carbohydrate diets are bad for them, and they quit eating the white bread. (white bread also got a bad rep as being a food that poor people or uneducated people eat and a lot of people started eating specialty breads and whole grain breads that iodine wasn't added to)
Guess what? Iodine deficiencies in the US are skyrocketing! (and it's linked to obesity and metabolic syndrome)
Micronutrients are hard to come by unless you're eating a REALLY REALLY super varied diet of whole foods that aren't commercially grown.
Commercially grown? What has that got to do with it? Oh, it's not your usual organic foods propaganda, although they'd be wise to latch onto it. See, most of those micronutrients are things plants pick up from the soil, but when we plant crops year after year in the same fields those nutrients disappear. The animals we feed from the crops don't lay those nutrients down in their meat and eggs, and the plants we eat don't contain them. And no, before you ask, "fertilizer" doesn't put them back, neither do the three year cycles of fallow fielding - that's more about nitrogen fixing than anything else.
Lots of the hormones and neurotransmitters released during exercise are the same ones released during sex. There are a few exceptions.

No!
I was in the city centre yesterday, it was very warm, lots of girls with not much clothing, it reassured me that there's a fire still burning, it just needs a good stoke !
However,I Was booked in to see one of the hottest little misses in town, phoned and cancelled, gonna lay off (pun intented) the escorts for a month or two, am thinking that two much candy can make you feel sick!
