Ever since the first proteins bonded in the primordial ooze, most life has instinctively felt more comfortable surrounded by others who look similar to themselves. If anyone anywhere is looking to porn to change this, please get a fucking life for fucks sake. Race relations will never be improved one iota by creating lists of girls in porn who don't fuck black men.
The vast majority of women who refuse to perform with black men do NOT give that as the reason. Most do NOT say it's because they find only people of the same pigmentation attractive. The reason these threads have existed is because of the bullshit excuses these performers give.

i don't think porn actresses really need to feel attracted to the guy they're working with, porn is a job and your comment about ron jeremy was pretty funny, ron jeremy has always been known as one of the ugliest guys to ever enter the indutry, he's so ugly some girls even put "NO RON JEREMY" on their card, he was never attractive to women, the reason why some girls will work with him (SOME !!! he's so ugly he's probably the only white guy in the industry who suffer from the dodger effect, some girls do dodge him) proves my point, attraction has absolutely nothing to do with porn, just an example , i'm not attracted to thai girls but if i were to do porn i would definitely work with them,i would be having sex for money anyway, i'm not attracted to their features but i don't find them repulsive, i don't think someone's race can make them repulsive or untouchable, as much as i don't find thai girls attractive i don't feel repulsed by a young thai girl with a nice body, i would never choose an ugly old flabby white woman over a young thai girl, do you really think someone's race can make them disgusting ?, i mean seriously ? , even if you don't find that particular race attractive, there is no way you could find a young and attractive person from that race disgusting, that's insane. anyway it's funny how shayla la veaux changed her perceptions after she got old, she used to find black men disgusting and now she's working with them, seems like her taste in men as changed quite a bit once she got old and no one wanted to see her anymore , i didn't know people's "preferences" changed as they get old , come on man you know this argument is ridiculous, there are many reasons why girls dodge and attraction is definitely not one of them, to say it's about attraction is incredibly naive, just count how many girls magically started feeling "attracted" to black men in a matter of months, they say they're not attracted to black men (like jenna haze did) and by the end of the year they're in one of those "i love black dicks" flicks, man do you see how incoherent this is ?, your whole logic is incoherent.
someone a few posts up said the same point about attraction not being that important to porn stars. I'd take it a step further and say that it's not THAT important to the rest of us either. It is important, especially when meeting them. But have you ever gotten close to someone, either at work or school or something, where you weren't looking to date, but someone had a personality so attractive, you became romantically attracted to them way more than just physical appearance could have explained away? While there are some who find them all attractive physically, I'm sure not every guy marrying a bigger girl, or girl marrying a funny looking dude, or people who fall in love with amputees, etc...are in it for the mate's looks. It's related to the conversation because it shows that there are plenty more things attractive about guys - black, white or orange - than just looks. To discard an entire race looks more and more stupid the longer you stare at it.
It's not as cut and dry as you may think. Sometimes it is all about business. Savannah Samson once said on Howard Stern she wanting to do IR for awhile but VIVID didn't want her to. She was under contract and had to go along with their wishes until they let her finally do it. Bree Olsen did plenty of IR before becoming a contract girl but since working with ADAM and EVE I don't think she's done any IR. Being with A&E definately has something to do with it because she's said she digs black guys. Tory lane didn't do IR because she was holding out for a big payday/event. When she finally did it she went at it with gusto. Deauxma obviously likes having IR sex because on her site she has a bunch of IR movies and even several IR gangbangs (with no white gangbangs that I remember)but to my knowledge Deauxma has never done IR outside her custom movies. Janet Mason seemed to mostly do IR for her own company/site but hasn't done much for the DVD companies. Jasmine St Claire did a bunch of black guys in her gangbangs (thank godness they were there or it would've been lame) but made a point of saying she doesn't like doing black guys in a later interview. All those examples were based on some sort busines decision. Sometimes the companies they work for doesn't want the girl to do IR. Sometimes the girls want to build a fanbase in a different market/genre. Sometimes the girls want to have something special just for their company/website. Sometimes the girl wants to exploit it and make as much money as they can from something the fans want to see. There are lots of reasons for the girls doing what they do and who are we to say they're wrong for doing it? Whatever the reason, why spend so much time worrying about it? More girls than ever do IR and too many people here spend waaay too much time concentrating on the ones that don't. My biggest problem I have with some of the girls that don't do IR is the lame excuses on why they don't. Otherwise, my feelings or viewing habits of those girls don't change. Why spend the time trying to decide which reason is or isn't legit?
I was having this discussion with some guy on another site once, and he told me that PORN IS ALL ABOUT ATTRACTION. He went on to tell me that if he was a porn actor, he would rather work with white males than black females. He said he is straight though. He finds ALL black women in the world so unattractive that he will be more comfortable doing a man of his race than a black female. I couldn't believe that a straight guy will say something like that...I asked him about Beyonce, Tyra Banks, Halle Berry and Vanessa Williams but he said NO.Then he went on to tell me that he isn't prejudice and has a black friend.
I think I've certainly heard every about excuse and rationalization in the world. Used to bother the hell out of me, but at this point, I simply don't care anymore. Times are indeed changing, and IR has been certified hot...not that it wasn't before though. The fact that there are many women, who used to not find black men hot, and suddenly do, proves to me the tides are changing. And companies can no longer use the "it doesn't sell" excuse either to justify not doing it. I just don't think there is as much to hide behind anymore, other than simply not wanting to. I figure that's about all I can hope for right now. I mean Rome wasn't built in a day. And I applaude Lex for not doing the same thing he once talked and vented about. I mean if he did it, by trying to basically get even, would that make him any better or different? I suppose he could take some satisfaction knowing that those who would once shun him, now have to come to him for work at times. I know it puts a smile on my face!
Don't worry, i'll pm the details to anyone who wants them. Meanwhile, Gianna Michaels will be appearing in a few weeks at an adult video store that my boy owns, so i'll be getting her contact info as well. I should have logged her number in my phone when her ad was posted on Eros. It's been awhile since i've gotten with a porn star. My last one was Ayana Angel, and let me tell you, you got to see that ass in person to believe it.
(Quote from Johnny Jay: mharris127, you are kidding right? there are some wind up merchants on here and if it's your aim to be number 1 in that department you are well on your way, some may argue that you are already there I won't put up an argument to the contrary but I must admit you have made me LMAO for a good 10 mins, thanks.) I don't know what a "wind up merchant" is, and I am not a merchant anyway. I don't know how to explain it in a manner that doesn't sound like racism to some, even though I have said that I would hire minorities as a director, so I will stop trying. One point I have to make -- it is easier for women to fuck those that don't turn them on than men (granted), but many say (rightfully so, in my opinion) if they won't do it at home they won't do it for pay. Everyone has the right to say and do what makes them comfortable here and should not be put down because they "won't fuck out of their race" or "won't fuck blacks" just because they are in porn. I believe it is more of an attractiveness issue rather than the talent hating blacks in most cases.
What about some of these women who become escorts and still refuse to see black clients? They still use that attraction argument. Do you really think that escorts or prostitutes need to be attracted to their clients ? You can be 100 years old in a wheelchair, sex workers won't turn you down but if you look like Will Simth, Denzel Washington or Tyson Beckford there is a problem. If you think that it is about attraction in most cases, then you probably don't know women very well. How do you explain that any ugly black man who is multimillionaire will be able to pull better looking white women than an average joe who looks like Brad Pitt? Being a black man myself, I'm not saying that blacks are ugly.Once women see money, most of them don't care what you look like. You probably don't know Ramon...he is a porn actor who looks like a very light skinned black guy but he says he is Latino. The same women who refuse to work with black men or biracial (black/white) men don't have a problem working with Ramon because he isn't classified as black. A pornstar once said that she only worked with Ramon after she got confirmation that he wasn't black. She said that at first, she had concerns because he looks black and she has issues with sex with black men. That same girl wouldn't have worked with Ramon had he been labelled Black...HOW DO YOU EXPLAIN THAT? Some people don't work with blacks just because they feel they are inferior and find them repulsive. I have no problem with people thinking that way but let's not fool ourselves with BS excuses. Edited by - Nimrod on 9/1/2009 3:04:55 PM
^ Those couple of women you reference may be racist. I am saying not all people that don't have sex with blacks are racist (some are, I concede). Example: Bree Olson. She did IR before Adam and Eve (according to those here on ADT), but since she signed with them, she does not. That should be on Phil Harvey (owner of A & E) not on Bree -- he sets the tone for his company and makes the rules that Nicholas Steele (may be retired now, not sure), Nick Orleans, Andre Madness (is he still at A & E) and their other directors live by and therefore their talent. It has been mentioned that Vivid may have a no IR policy for their talent -- it should be on Vivid to explain, not their talent. The way the industry works now, if you want to make good money you sign one of these contracts and live by their rules.
Whoa! You need to be careful here. Adam & Eve does NOT have a no-IR policy! Nina Hartley does most of her shows for Adam & Eve, and she does lots of IR for them. Sorry, but if the above is what Bree Olson said, then it IS on her. Phil Harvey is a very progressive guy, especially on social issues (Planned Parenthood funddraiser, for example). You want to make a case against him, you need to do better than dredge up gossip. Vivid, Wicked and VCA USED to have a no-IR policy for its big-budget 35mm films that would be shown on cable, but that changed years ago due to protests from fans and when Larry Flynt bought VCA from Russ Hampshire. Since his IR policy made $$$, Vivid and Wicked followed suit. Tyler Knight broke the color barrier for black men at Wicked. To another poster, I certainly agree that this is not the important cause on the planet, but it is one that we have the ability to make a difference for the better. As long as this forum exists and is taken seriously by both talent and management, concerned folks need to speak out. So, Lex is getting his "revenge" by having racist white women work for him. That's funny. Since those women don't feel humiliated by taking his money, and they are having their prejudices validated by a black man, where's the revenge? One coherent concept of revenge in this case would be getting them to do black men on camera and making sure the women cum like gangbusters, which would make the women feel ashamed. Another concept of revenge would be making a point of not hiring IR refusers, even for shows where the cast happens to be all-white. But since that's not what's going on with Lex at the helm, his hypocrisy resonates ever more loudly.

"I believe it is more of an attractiveness issue rather than the talent hating blacks in most cases." i still don't see any evidence to substantiate your claim that girls who refuse to work with black men do it because they are not attracted to them, if that were the case they wouldn't change their minds so quickly, porn is a job and it's about MONEY, not doing black men is more of a career choice than anything else, most european girls do IR so that means european girls are somehow more biologically attracted to black men ?, stupidest thing i've heard in a while , really you can't be serious about that, you can't really be so naive to believe pornstars are really attracted to the guys they're working with. i don't think we should take your posts too seriously anyway, someone who says he wouldn't fuck halle berry while being payed to have sex is either incredibly stupid or deeply bigoted.
If blacks were like over 70 % of the US population or were that much percentage of porn buyers, you wouldn't hear that "I won't do IR because I'm not attracted to blacks" stuff. Everyone will be doing it because they will suffer financially if they don't...except girls like Vicky Vette, Ashlynn Brooke and Krystal Steal.

what happened to the man who called bullshit on jesse jane when she lied about wanting to work with him, he flat out said she was a racist and now he even hires dodgers, what a shame, i had nothing but mad respect for the man, i think he should reconsider his decision to hire dodgers, i'm afraid he's gonna lose much of his fan base.
By the way, "I'm not attracted to" isn't good argument for an escort or porn star not to work with someone. That is a good argument not marry or date somebody. The only reason that will be valid in porn is : "I find this person so physically repulsive or disgusting that I won't work with them" I think they need to start saying that, then we will believe them and if that is how they feel about one whole race of people, then that is fine. But I would like to see people' reaction when they start saying that about blacks. As for Jesse Jane, Lex was right to blast her and call her a liar...it's been years since she said she had no problem working with Lex but she still hasn't done any IR.
hi, i think LEX answered the question very well,i do not think any more has to be said.i think the IR issue has been talked to death and a consensus will not be reached.i am a black Canadian i loved Christy Canyon, when i heard about her thoughts on IR i was not as much of a fan as before.only from the point of view that we were thought of as lesser people.but hey it is a free country and life goes i enjoy women of all kinds that are in the porn business and there are plenty to be fans of! regards map47
What did Christy Canyon say about IR? Wasn't she the same person that dated that movie director that was over 40 years older than her when she was like 30? Edited by - Nimrod on 9/2/2009 4:26:40 PM

OK i dont understand what lex or anybody who agrees with him means. Alexis texas and all these dodgers have plenty of scenes with white dudes. So why wouldnt these white boys just go pick up an all white movie instead of 1 that has black guys in it? People who pick up lex steele movies usually wants to see interracial. And people who pick up alexis movie usually prefer white on white. So i dont understand why would more people buy a lexington steele movie to see her bang another white guy. It makes no sense. Us real black men could care less about her banging another white dude, so he def. not attracting more of us to buy his crap. lex is a sellout..so is marcus, tee reel, sean...or anyone whos friends with black man dodgers be it on or off camera. Mr.marcus posing with jenna jameson on myspace after shes dissed black men a million times. a shame.
I don't think Marcus and Sean are sellouts, however Tee Reel is a REAL sellout. He even goes on record to defend these IR dodgers...he is always saying that these girls don't work with black men just like he isn't comfortable working with men either. What a comparison?
This isn't true. I like some alexis texas scenes. I don't prefer IR, and I don't prefer white on white. As long as the scene is steamy, I don't care what race someone is. I'm sure there are plenty of people who think she's sexy and like IR. Your post seems like a bit of over-simplification. "We like our stuff and they like theirs, so what's the big deal?" In a way, that right there is saying there is some giant separation between people who like to watch each kind.

what he said is pretty much true, people who buy white on white porn are usually casual porn buyers and they don't really care if there is an interracial scene in it, very few people really mind seeing an IR scene thrown in here and there whereas most interracial fans don't really like vanilla porn, the overwhelming majority of the people who buy lex movies are hardcore IR fans and a white-on-white scene would be a huge turn-off for them. When I say "you" it's speaking in general not to you specifically... "Important"? No. I think it's an interesting thing to discuss. I think it's a legit topic to discuss. That said...I don't get why it's so important to some of you seeing a girl have sex with someone she doesn't want to have sex with for whatever reason. What's goal here? To browbeat, insult, force or embarrass a girl into having sex with a person they don't want to? Is it so important to see a white woman with a black man that you don't care if she doesn't really want to do it? Let's assume any of the women mentioned in this thread are as horrible as some are trying to make them out to be. Let's assume they big time racists. Let's assume the hold Klan rallies at their homes. They show up to porn shoots wearing KKK garb and they rush through the shoot because they need to go burn a cross on someone's yard afterwards. Why do you want to see them do IR? Why spend so much time worrying about her and whoshe isn't having sex with? If a person is really so concerned with racists aren't there more deserving racists to be concerned/consumed with? If people want to demand more IR movies from the studios/directors I'm all for it. I think getting on a board like this and talking about that is useful and perhaps productive. Getting on a board and calling women you don't know "racist" and throwing out theories not based on any sort of facts....What is that supposed to do? Do you think Vicky Vette or whoever is going to see this thread and suddenly decide the people here are right and start having sex with black guys? Is it right calling someone you don't know a racist based on her not having IR sex on camera at this point in their career? You're free talk about the subject til the cows come home. I just happen to think it's as big a deal as some make it out to be and these threads always go off on ridiculous tangents.... "This person is black", "That person isn't black", "that person is racist", "It doesn't count if they do it later in their career...", "This person doesn't count because he's a 'token' black", "I don't think that person is attractive", "They fuck Ron Jeremy", etc..etc... Silly stuff.
Christy Canyon has talked numerous time on her radio show that she's had sex with black men. She's talked about how excited she was to have sex with Billy Dee early in her career. She said she was so enamoured with him after their scene and was waiting for him to say something to her about it but he just went on about his business and it wasn't anything special to him (kinda funny story). She talks about her scene with Jake Steed and says it's one of her most requested scenes. She and Mr Marcus talked about the time they ran into each other at VIVID studios and had sex on the fly. She talked about giving Shane Diesel a blowjob a few years ago. Christy is always commenting on how handsome some black men are. If she thinks "lesser" of black men I've never heard her say anything to make me think that. Christy has even questioned pornstars who say they don't do IR and ask why.
I know she fucked Marcus off camera but I find it strange that she never did a "typical" black guy on camera. Jake Steed is biracial and looks more caucasian than black...but when it comes to Billy Dee I don't know why people call him black. I used to think Billy Dee and Herschel Savage are the same person. By typical black guy, I mean guys like Marcus, Shane, Brian Pumper, Lex and Sean Michaels. Barbara Dare who had an issue with black men didn't have a problem working with Billy Dee and Jake Steed either...she said she didn't consider Billy Dee black. (Partial quote from Sheldon: Whoa! You need to be careful here. Adam & Eve does NOT have a no-IR policy! Nina Hartley does most of her shows for Adam & Eve, and she does lots of IR for them. Since his IR policy made $$$, Vivid and Wicked followed suit. Tyler Knight broke the color barrier for black men at Wicked. . . . ) All I said is that Phil needs to explain himself. I do not claim that he has a strict IR policy, but it is funny that when Bree handled her own affairs she did IR and now that she has to answer to Phil, she does not (it may be the directors that she works with, also). If she were racist she would not have ever done IR in the first place! I also don't recall Austyn Moore doing much IR while she was with Adam & Eve and she seems like a progressive person herself. I agree that Phil Harvey is a progressive man and has done a lot of good in this industry, but I have to call it as I see it. If I were Phil, I would do that much for the industry, it looks bad for his company that this thread exists at all. Please don't jump to the conclusion that just because I think someone has some explaining to do that that person is automatically gulity! If I owned Adam & Eve and saw this thread, I would explain my position in a hot minute and would understand that everything my directors and producers do ends up being my reputation and that the buck stops with me. As for the man that thinks I am incredibly stupid or racist, I have already said that I would hire blacks, asians, inuit, whatever for anything that I would produce/direct, especially upon talent request. I disagree with the poster that says attractiveness is not a consideration for some people, although not as paramount as plot, sexual positions, pay, etc with many. Just because I think Halle Berry is ugly doesn't mean I am racist. Tyra Banks may have a chance as I soften up, though -- my main issue with her is that she is fragile-looking, even at 160 pounds (I think she is about six foot three tall, so that explains why she is so thin at that weight). BTW Sheldon, do you work for Adam & Eve? If so, maybe you could get an explanation for the folks here and get Bree and/or Phil out of the hot seat. Frankly, the little I know about Phil Harvey, I sort of like the guy.
There's always the possiblity that some of these so-called "sell-outs" might be actually fucking some of these so-called "dodgers" off-camera or in private. You never know.
I don't know man, I once had a short fling with a girl whose family had racist beliefs and she tried her damnest to keep me a secret. And according to her, I was the first black guy that she ever had an attraction for. But she wasn't above making racial comments herself; she had an irrational hatred for immigrants, among other things. There are women who say no or think no but will do it if it's the right guy and/or they think they won't get caught. Edited by - digital devil on 9/3/2009 2:53:43 PM
I'd just like to ask this then. To those that have a huge problem with it, what would you have Lex do? I'd especially like to ask this of both Nimrod & Sheldon, since you two seem the most vocal.
From the outset, Lex should have been consistent with the tone of his earlier criticism of IR refusers. Don't hire performers who are known to refuse to work with blacks for racist reasons, even if the scene in question happens to be all-white. In that way, he would not be reinforcing institutional racism. It would send a message that working in porn is a privilege, not a right. It should not be up to the business to adapt to the backward prejudices of a few performers. Just as Jordan Lee was eventually shown the door for refusing to work with Jews... However, since time travel is not possible, he should be consistent with his current, economically opportunistic stance and apologize to those performers he previously derided as racist. Heck, he should offer them a launching pad to revive their careers. Jenna Jameson and Serenity as MILFs, anyone? Edited by - Sheldon on 9/3/2009 8:33:59 PM
I can't speak for everybody here, but I have no desire to browbeat anybody to do something they don't want to do. I just don't want performers who practice institutional racism to be in the industry at all - let them find a career elsewhere.
Thank you very much for making this post. It's a perfect example of the silly stuff some of you guys get all caught up in. "This person is black", " This person isn't black". "This person doesn't look black..." "This person is only half black..." No offense but it really doesn't matter if you think Billy Dee and Jake Steed aren't black or black enough. The poster commented than Christy has a problem with black men. I named instances were she had sex with what she considered to be black men and how she felt about it. Rightly or wrongly Christy considered them black so it makes the point that she has no problems with men she considers black. I've read an interview in an old issue of AVN magazine were several black performers discussed blacks in porn. Not only did Jake Steed consider himself black but was very annoyed that others didn't. I know it sounds totally crazy but some people who are bi-racial consider themselves black...and others do too...until it's convenient not to.
LOL! Supposedly the girls who aren't doing IR for whatever reason should grow, change their way of thinking and not stick to their old way of thinking...but Lex shouldn't grow, change his way of thinking and stick to the old way of thinking. I applaud Lex letting go of that type of thinking and moving on. Life's too short to get caught up in silliness and he has a business to run. Was Lex's life, career and/or business better when/because he was refusing to hire girls who didn't do IR?
How do you determine exactly who's practicing institutional racism? A questionaire? Mandatory lie detector tests? So if a girl is holding out IR for a big payday does she need to be booted from the industy? If a girl does a black guy everyone considers black but not her, does she get the boot? If she's a contract girl who works for a company that generally doesn't shoot IR, should she be booted? If the girl does a guy she considers black but not everyone agree he's black, does she get the boot? If she refuses to do IR before she enters the MILF arena, should she get kicked to the curb? If she has sex with black guys in her personal life but chooses not to on film, how quickly does she go? If she only will do a blowbang with a black man but no intercourse, does she deserve to be in the biz? If a girl who doesn't do IR say she isn't racist, should we even pretend to believe her or just toss her lying ass out? All this stuff is very important and needs to be sorted out.
In most cases, I'm not really sure you will be able to prove it. The women will simply hide behind the company, or company will hide behind the women. The porn biz is set up with a ladie's choice first thing, so ultimately it's set-up for discrimination on any and many levels. I mean I don't think it's a coincident that most female contract players somehow are never attracted to black men. So the company might secretly tell them they don't want to hire black people, especially black men, and the girl could simply say she's not attracted to black guys or have never found one that she is attracted to. I mean how the hell do you fight or prove that? The last thing I would want to see is someone like Lex starting to discriminate against those that can or will work. Does everybody like every person they've ever worked with? Now what I hope to see continuing with guys like Lex, is them continuing to feature those women that generally do enjoy working with guys of color over the ones that don't or won't. Now I have no problems with that. I'll take a Gianna Michaels, Trina Michaels, Flower Tucci, Naomi, Lauren Phoenix, or Arianna Jollee over any dodger in a Lex film, anyday or anytime. I just think those that like it, should generally get hired more. Edited by - aplus on 9/3/2009 11:07:42 PM
I agree that most people don't mind an IR scene...and it's always easier to avoid something than to want something that isn't there, just talking about positives and negatives...but when america, depending on the year of the census and who answers, is only around 13% black, you can't assume that most people make a decision on what to watch based on IR or not. I read some of another thread here at ADT, dealing with do we as viewers have input on what's made or do we just buy whats available. I think that's a relevant discussion here... starting from years ago when I had a membership at deluxepass, i didn't know who many stars were, male or female. for example, shyla stylez became memorable for me with her scenes in "my perfect 10's again"...both were so hot, and in retrospect, both were IR. One was with lex in a shower, and another was a 2-on-1 with a DP and cumshots in her mouth with it dribling out. so hot. even now, just the memory. so hot. but it had nothing to do with it being IR. based on what's out there, and the fact that there are people who won't do IR, but no one who won't do anything BUT IR, it's not a fair comparison as to buyers' choices...

i think it would be hard to find someone who likes interracial as much as i do, i'm strickly interracial but i disagree with your last statement , i think they can work and do whatever they want, there is no logic in saying they shouldn't have the right to do porn, all i want is to have my right not to like them and to think they are racist or their producer/ company/audience or whatever is racist and i think i have that right , it's all good , they have the right to dodge and i have the right to dislike them and think lowly of them, it works that way. so i say dodgers suck

Read this again. Aren't we taking our porn a little too seriously if we type this sentence in relation to anything, outside of possible 1st Amendment consequences and HIV positive tests, involving porn? In the grand scheme of this cosmic marble we are rolling around the universe on this is about as important as the barometric pressure in Moosejaw, Saskatchewan.
