You guys are missing out on one very important point: The guy who tells the girl to not do interracial. Majority of the practiced racism in this industry, starts with some guy telling the girl what she should and shouldn't do. Starts with the boyfriend, to the agent and even some performers who discourage the girls to do anything remotely black. After it gets in the girls mind long enough she sees it as a bad thing.
There are exceptions to the rule, there are girls who do what they want. And they dictate their own success, plenty of examples of that. But most girls don't know any better and in the beginning are told so much bullshit, they don't know what to believe.
I like girls who are into me, the way I am into them. Makes a better scene and you the fans got nothing to complain about. We'll be bitchin' about girls who don't until we finally see them do and guess what people will do...act like it's no big deal.

You made a great point there...I have always found it strange that all the contract girls say the don't do IR because they don't find black men attractive. ALL OF THEM.It's too many to be a coincidence. Jenna Jameson, Tera Patrick, Asia Carrera, Stormy Daniels, Ashlynn Brooke, Alektra Blue, Krystal Steal... and many others contract girls have all said that.

Happy Birthday Bro. On another note, I don't blame all the non-blacks who think that it's ok for many girls to openly refuse to work with black men. If I wasn't black, I would feel the same way too. If some black girls start saying that she finds all whites, latinos or asians ugly and refuse to work with them, I wouldn't complain about it either.

I agree with you Marcus, but what about all those other big stars who are told not to do it but do it anyway? Based on the careers of people like Sasha Ger, Jenna Haze, Nina Hartley,...we know that it doesn't hurt a girl's career. Is it also a coincidence that these girls are never told to work with latinos and asians? The last time I checked, those people are minorities too and they also face some prejudice in the real world too. Unlike latinos, there is a lot of women who don't find asia men attractive...but no one has ever said that she won't work with an asian guy because she isn't attracted to him. All I'm saying is that both the girls and the companies should be blamed.

Happy birthday and good luck in the biz,. So not surprised the biz., is that way inclined and not surprised to here that. Thank goodness there are performers who can dictate their own destiny nowadays. Interracial cannot harm a career as some might suggest, it can broaden their appeal, fan base and revenue. Society has evolved since the days of Jenna Jameson, Sasha Grey is proof of that as well as so many others. Jenna is and was great in her day but society was different then and the fan base different also, i.e., there was no need for a big star to do interracial so why entertain it, did she need to do Lex? no, a purely economical reason and she deserves respect, she maximised herself in HER time. Anyway, Mr Marcus it is your birthday so enjoy it i hope me reminding you of your scene with April Summers brings a smile to your face, that riding queen made you smile from ear to ear and it is truly one of the best scenes i have seen,(sorry if you went there more than once only saw one scene) i would have paid a lot of money to trade places with you that day or any other come to think of it ,you are truly one lucky B, and you get paid too,,,Damn. Lol.

How do we 'prove' it? So far, the IR dodgers tend to spill their guts on the Howard Stern show or even on this forum. They make it easy - they confess. And once those performers are dealt with a la Jordan Lee, the rest of the dodgers will undoubtedly hide their dodging, sometimes even cleverly. That's OK, because putting them on the defensive like that is still a victory since it takes away their comfort zone.
In basketball, you're supposed to guard the hoop first and foremost so as to deny your opponent the easy lay-up. Make them shoot the long-range three-pointer instead - should they occasionally make that low-percentage shot, tip your hat to them, because eventually, they will lose the overall game.

The 'old' way of thinking is support for equality and opposition to discrimination. Decent people are ALWAYS supposed to stick to that!!
BTW, when did Steele ever refuse to hire IR dodgers? And while his pocketbook got bigger, can he really sleep easy at night? What about being able to live with oneself? Unless you're a sociopath, all the money in the world isn't going to make that go away.

I don't agree with you, Sheldon. Racism should not preclude someone from porn -- however lack of fans can and will. If you don't like people that don't do IR, don't buy their videos. Me, I am against the companies telling their contract stars that they cannot -- not the banning of racists. As the crux of my original statement a few pages back is, Lex has the right to hire anyone he wants and should not be held to answer if he changes his mind on this issue. Also, stars will fuck who they are comfortable with (as I said), racist or not (I believe most -- NOT ALL -- decide based on attractiveness to that person, not racism). If you force talent to fuck those that mortify them, the scene will not turn out, anyway!

This is silly.
Porn is a thing where we accept everyone, as long as they're adults and aren't hurting anyone (without consent!!)
We generally dislike Christians for example, because they want us to all be like them, and follow their rules.
When you start to tell other people how to be and think, you're more LIKE THEM!
Live and let be. If you want to stick a spiked bat up your ass, cool. Just keep it away from my ass.
If you don't want to have sex with black guys on camera for whatever reason, that's your decision too.
Porn requires that people accept us, and we should provide the same courtesy to them.

If your argument was true, don't you think that the best looking men will be the most sought after porn stars? They aren't...the biggest names aren't that attractive. There is plenty of good looking fit men in porn but Ron Jeremy became the top porn star. If you think that attractiveness is such a big issue for these women, then I think you are putting porn stars and escorts on a pedestal. Remember that doing porn is something that most people will never be comfortable doing. Even though I don't look down on porn actresses, these women aren't the average girl you meet daily who have too much pride to do certain things. Maybe you don't have much experience with women but Money is above looks for most women, let alone porn actresses. If black porn consumers far outnumbered white consumers, these women would all be doing IR because that is where the money will be. How many black, latino or asian women can say to working with white men even if they don't find them attractive? None.

Well the one thing I've always known is that money will always talk before BS. I here the Jordan Lee argument from time to time, but I've never been convinced that "really" did anything. Some thought she was a big star, but she always seemed marginal at best to me. And what was that like 15 years ago. If anything those that felt like she did, simply hid it better or kept more quiet about it. Didn't change anything with the companies that I saw. If anything, it got worse. I'm pretty much convinced a company will keep any performer who moves a lot of units, because in a lot of cases, they aren't really trying to get those that disagree to buy their product anyway. I mean the proof is there and always had been.

Draxx, I agree with most of what you said but you also said that companies like Vivid, Digital, Wicked tell their girls not to do IR JUST because it doesn't make them money. If it is just because it wasn't making them money, they will just be indifferent to their girls doing IR. They will not encourage them but they will not discourage them either. If they tell them NO IR, it means that IT UPSETS someone there. Obviously there is someone in there who cares if these girls do IR, and who could that possibly be? It bothers somebody...The fans? The directors? Whoever it is certainly has bigotry behind his reasoning. I PERSONALLY THINK THAT ANYONE(BLACK, WHITE, ASIAN, LATINO...) WHO REFUSES TO WATCH SCENES OF A GIRL JUST BECAUSE SHE HAD DONE A MOVIE WITH GUYS OF ANOTHER RACE IS NOT JUST A BIGOT BUT A BIG LOSER AS WELL.

I personally will take a girl who is prejudice but has no problem fucking black men over a girl who says she isn't prejudice but thinks that no black man is good enough to fuck her. Remember that a "true" hardcore racist will never, ever fuck a black man. That is why Bianca Trump got kicked out that racist organization she was part of...once they found that she worked with black man, they put her prejudice into question.

Cut the pollyanna bullshit.
Porn is a BUSINESS that caters dudes who need to wack off. What gets someone off could be anything from white chicks to donkeys, midgets or kids. On the flip side there's things that turn people off and there's nothing that's going to drop wood quicker than something you find sick in the middle of a movie you're watching, like popping a gay scene in the middle or a hetro flick. You cant dictate what a person's sexual preferences are and as a producer you have to know what your customer base wants.
The sad truth is what most black dudes want more than anything else in life is to fuck white chicks but a lot of dudes of other races dont want to see that shit. A lot of dudes dont want to watch girls who have done that shit either. That's where the Economics comes in. Personally I have no preference for Interracial either way but porn isn't about "accepting everyone" many times it's about a lot of sick shit that can be anything from "racial purity" to fucking the daughters of "your oppressors" to the jungle aspect of watching some black dude do your wife.
Yeah it's messed up but that's the psychological and political background of IR in the first place. If we're ever going to get to a place where it's just sex with a man and a hot chick up there fucking people need to get rid of their slave mentality fixating on dodgers and sellouts and shit
As for Lex, he'd be a sellout if he owed his success to blacks and then had somehow turned his back. But the fact is, Lex has always owed is career to whites, blacks had zero to do with it. From the beginning what stood Lex apart (along with other crossovers like Marcus or Sean Michaels) was his ability to navigate the white channels in porn that other brothers stumbled on. Likewise what made him a star was the fact white dudes bought his porn.
As a businessman, he's doing what he's always done: satisfy his true (white) fanbase. He's a businessman, but a lot of you cats got this sick projection going on where you actually think when he's fucking a white chick YOU'RE the one doing the fucking (or that chick would then be willing to fuck you). And when he interacts with "dodgers" your sick mind thinks now your "hero" is selling out.
If you're fixated on dodgers and racists and shit, get a life. There's an inherent ironic perverseness of railing against white bitches for not going black by brothers whose whole life mission is to worship white as the paragon and ignore their own sisters. If you feel that strongly about racism and race, maybe you're a little too invested in interracial pron in the first place and you should take a look at yourselves. The true sellout is the brother who puts white on a pedastal to such a degree that a white WHORE who wont fuck black on camera is somehow a personal affront to you in real life.
Wow, if you think that way about Christians I shudder to think what you think about Jews who are willing to destroy the lives of millions of Arabs for their own benefit in the name of God or Tibetan Buddhists who have no problem with having a religious caste that "owns" everyone else technically in serfage like the middle ages.
Christianity is the most accepting religion in the world in terms of being lenient with others and is resonsible for everything from the Abolitionist movement in the US which destroyed slavery to Solidarity in Poland which brought down Communism. Anyone who feels the need to make such broad generalizations about someone else's religion is seriously immature. This comes from an Atheist who's studied comparative religions

who gives a damn if a performer finds black men physically repulsive. thats her right and choice. doesnt make any of it right or wrong just makes it what it is. you actually think a female performer had any choice 40 yrs ago? 30? hell no. change takes time and doesnt happen over night. if we lived in a perfect world without ignorance and hate we wouldnt even have porn. stop whinning about it and dont buy any movies with these females who dont do IR. stop the whinning already.

It's not totally about money. Those companies make porn targeted to a certain audience. That audience doesn't share your deep need to see IR sex. You may find it hard to believe or think it's a horrible thing but lots of people just don't have a desire to see white women with black men. If there are enough people who feel that way and there are companies that caters to them I see absolutely nothing wrong with letting those people have those companies. If WICKED started having having 2 IR scenes in all their movies tommorrow I still wouldn't buy or rent them because I have no interest in the type of movies they make.
People watch porn to see what gets them off. If a person doesn't relate to or want to see IR sex in their movies that's their right. If a company makes movies for that audience that's well within their rights. If you have a desire to see IR sex no one is forcing you or anyone to watch movies from those companies just as if a person doesn't want to see IR they aren't force to watch movies from BLACK MARKET or BLACK ICE.
And for some of you, you're trying to make this a moral issue when it's all about what gets you off. True racism is probably all around you and many of you do absolutely nothing and don't give it a second thought but suddenly when it affects getting your jack on you're Captain Morality.

Replace the IR sex with BBW sex and perhaps it becomes more clear. Lots of people don't want to or care to see sex scenes with heavy women. Why aren't people all up in arms about that? Think about it. It's not that different. Some of those bigger women are probably great performers, are good people, have pretty faces, and really haven't done anything wrong. Why aren't you upset that certain companies don't have BBW sex in their movies? Why don't you get upset when someones says they aren't attracted to big women? If a porn guy said he doesn't want to do scenes with a chubby girl do you get angred by it?
I don't want to see sex scenes with fat/chubby/BBW women. I'm not attracted to or want to date heavy women. It's my right and my choice but really it's kinda messed up. There are big women who have prettier faces than some of the thinner girls I like. There are big women who are nicer than the thinner women I prefer. There are big women who are better sex partners than the thin women I've had sex with. There are big women perhaps more loving than the thin women I prefer. But...
I don't want to date big women or see them in my porn movies. Isn't that incredibly shallow and petty? Lots of guys feel exactly the same way. Why is that totally acceptable but a white girl not being attracted to or wanting have sex with a black man isn't? Am I a huge liar if I say I've had friends who are big women and other than sex and dating them I have no problems with big women? No I'm not. But apparently to some of you if a white woman feels the same way about black men she's a horrible person/racist.
I refuse to judge and condem others for their choices because I'm in no position to do so and neither are most of you. "My hang-ups are fine but yours are fucked up"? What bullshit.

Maybe you got me wrong. There is a difference between a white guy who is turned off by IR porn than a white guy who refuses to watch a white woman doing a white man just because she had done IR in the past. I think it's ok to be turned off by IR porn but there is something racist about someone who refuses to watch women who have done IR in the past.I know most white porn consumers aren't turned on by IR porn, but that doesn't mean that all of them refuse to watch Jenna Haze, Sasha Grey, Gianna, Tori Black...because they have done IR. Even though someone may not like BBW porn, it doesn't mean that they will stop watching or actor or actress because she had worked in that genre.

Like I said before, I don't have a problem with companies not promoting IR or people not wanting to watch it...I just have a problem with them having a NO IR policy on their girls, like it's anaimal sex or some sick shit. Are you trying to compare being fat to being black now? I don't think that all women who refuse to do IR are RACISTS. However someone who says that no amount of money will make her have sex with any black man in the whole wide world is a little suspect, when that person will do any white man regardless of how he looks. The way you are raised also has something to do with that way of thinking. Do you think that if we were in the 1800s or early 1900s, the women who do IR today would have done it then? For the sake of this argument, let's assume that IR sex or porn was legal at that time, do you honestly think that the white women who do IR today would have done it then? They would say that they aren't attracted to black guys and no amount of money will make them do it...and I wouldn't blame them because they would have been raised to think that blacks aren't equal human beings. The % of porn girls who will have no problem doing IR 100 years from now is higher than the % of women who don't mind now, just like the percentage of the girls who have no problem with it now is higher than the percentage in the 80s. And it isn't because of any change in genes as far as attraction to black men is concerned. Refusing to sleep with fat, retarded, people of the same sex or midgets is a little different from refusing to sleep with not one single person of a whole race. In America, there is wide range of skin stones, facial features...when it coms to blacks. You can go from Wesley Snipes all the way to Derek Jeter, but to some they fit in the same basket as far as looks are concerned. LET ME MAKE THIS CLEAR: I DON"T REALLY GIVE A SHIT WHAT THESE PORN GIRLS THINK ANYWAY. This subject has been discussed many times, but I don't think it will stop in the near future. Some topics just get people started no matter how many times they've been discussed. It's not just in porn.

Amen jni1973! Couldn't agree with you more. Its entirely the performer's personal choice, just as it is yours (the consumer) to not support someone who's personal views you do not agree with. So just do not buy the products of those you do not agree with and leave it at that. I'd just say, that at some point, I'd hope that those who are more inclusive wind up with bigger audiences and, as a result, more sales overall.

I haven't bought a porn dvd in over ten months. I boycotted when I discovered that white females are paid at higher rates to work with black men. Normal everyday porn sex with a black guy is compensated at higher rates I assume because of the repulsiveness inherent in the fetish.

Let me attempt to clear up my statement about fetish. I was clumsily trying to make the point that interracial sex is viewed as a fetish by these people who defend the status quo.

Since the inception of porn as an industry it has discriminated against one group and one group only.
It's business or personal preference is convenient rationalizations to allow one to believe that he's a good person in the face of condoning an industry practice that relegate one segment to second class
But there is hope it appears we are following to the separate but equal template that our fathers used to grab a piece of the pie. Lex may be doing what has to. There are very few black studio owners in the business and there is no way to know what pressures he faces. No doubt the other owners are smiling in his face while holding sharp knives waiting for him to turn his back.
I personally find the overt discrimination in porn threatening to my personal well being. It happens in porn and has its defenders. It will or is happen where I work and will be vehemently defended.

You are right there. If porn folks feel that way about blacks, what do you think that regular people who have a whole lotof pride in them really feel about blacks? The people who do porn are for the most part much more open minded than regular citizens. When someone who does anal, gangbang on camera for the whole world to see say things like "I'm better than that" "The fans expect better from me" "That is degrading to me"...how do you really think that average people feel then?

I am surprised to find you using this logic and it also totally misses the point. We are not forcing consumers to want to like IR. We are trying to convince actresses to add IR scenes to their output of work. After that, let consumers decide if they want to watch it or not. Nobody says they have to be plopped into otherwise "white" productions. They can be separate as many are.
No. If a Sex WORKER, whose job it is is to fulfill fantasies, works with everyone else. Every single race, except black people -- then it is discriminatory. I won't go as far as saying racist, but it is an issue.
Why is it just blacks -- ALL THE TIME? Isn't that curious to you? Why not hangups with other races?
You wouldn't not fuck someone because of their skin color though, would you? In general, people get touchy about race because it is something very personal they cannot control. You trying to equate it to being fat is dishonest.
I swear to God, I wish the hottest white porn star would come along who only worked with black guys on screen. Some hot teen with big natural tits like Sara Stone. Then I would just wait to see all the complaints ring out from the very people who tell us it's no big deal.

I'm not sure it's their job to fulfill fantasies to begin with. If they were really fulfilling your fantasy they would not be fucking Lex, they would be fucking you. By the way, who do I scream at for not fulfilling my fantasy of hitting the Powerball jackpot?

As I said before some girls don't do it because of who they're working for. I gave the example Savanna Samson saying she wanted to do IR for a long time at VIVID and they told her no. Lanny Barbie and Bree Olsen did IR regularly before they became contract girls. I'm sure the reason they don't is because those companies doesn't offer up any black performers to them or doesn't want them to do it. Since those companies generally don't do IR themed movies the only way to see those starlets do IR is to be "plopped" into a otherwise white movie.
ADAM & EVE didn't have Carmen Luvana do any IR scenes (as far as I know) except in the first "Black In White" (I think that the name) series they started. Carmen had done IR before hooking up with A&E and I think even stated she occasionally dated black men. Carmen did her IR scene with Sean Michaels and talked about how it was great and they kept going even when the cameras weren't rolling. The series must not have been a big seller them because they only did one more (I think) and stopped it. I would think that if Carmen had as great a time with Sean as she claimed she would've asked for him again but I don't think they ever teamesd up again. It seems to me that the studio may have said no to her about not doing anymore IR because otherwise it makes no sense that she wouldn't do IR or work with him again.
So when it comes to contract girls I have to think the company plays a big part in who they work with. Some may have the power to make demands but it's probably not something they feel that strongly about either way.
I do feel the BBW thing is a fair analogy in the sense that not wanting to see or be attractive to a big woman is in many ways just as silly and petty as someone discrimating skin color. But because some posters here are much more into IR they're feel it's a much more important and worthy cause. They claim to be outraged by that one discrimination but some others are that big a deal...because they have no inteset in them.
She's still a human being that has a right say to say "no" to whatever. Yes, it might discriminatory but you have to or might want to examine or figure out if there's a legit reason behind her actions and not brand or label her negatively based on who she appears in movies with or doesn't. Maybe these girls being branded "racists" or whatever term being thrown out are this waybecause of the circumsatances they have to deal with because of the companies they work for or the company they keep or their boyfriends.
If you went back in time to about 5 years ago and started tossing out negative labels and judgements to the women who didn't do IR you realize you'd have to take it back for a bunch of those girls today? What happened? Did they suddenly become de-racitized? Suddenly saw the evil of their ways? Had the white demons driven out of them?
Or maybe they never had an issue and for whatever reason just never did an IR scene. Hmmmmmm.....
What about the girls did IR early in their career when they were hungry for work and once they got to a certain level didn't do IR again? I'd like to hear your comments on them.
We're all over the place here...
No I'm not because in my eyes not having sex with someone for any lame hang-up you may have is pretty messed up yet we (as people) do it all the time. Skin color=lame reason. Big girl/big guy=lame. Who they're related to=lame. Where they come from=lame. Social status=lame. How much they make=lame. Afraid of what their friends will think=lame. Because their parents woudn't approve=lame.
All those are reasons people have chosen not to hve sex with another person for. Some may apply to you and some might not. But generally speaking people refuse to not have sex with other people for various fucked up reasons. Just because people here choose to skin color as the worst reason possible doesn't make it so...they're all lame. Most of that stuff should matter but it does.
I hope you get your wish if that would make you happy. Personally, I think there are plenty of hot women doing IR and the ones who don't (or haven't yet) I hold nothing against them.

Start up a thread!
I'm equally outraged about the Powerball jackpot fantasy not coming true.

There is more than one type of bigotry. In this case, there is individual prejudice and then there is institutional racism. The latter is far more damaging to a lot more people than the former.
The fact that some folks who don't practice workplace discrimination may not choose to associate with black people off-camera is interesting and indeed may make them less than ideal human beings, but so what? At the end of the day, there is at least fuller employment and less material oppression. The adult entertainment industry can't do anything to change what goes inside a performer's head but it CAN do something to knock out workplace discrimination. In fact, that can be applied to just about every industry in this country.
If the stance of the industry is, "It's OK for the more highly-paid, powerful set of performers - women - to discriminate in the workplace based on racially prejudiced views and OK for companies to issue contracts that reflect that", then getting folks to support the industry's First Amendment right to exist is going to be a much tougher sell than ever before, especially in a country that just elected its first Black President.

I don't see how, on the one hand, you don't want to see performers who practice discrimination banned, but on the other hand, you want to see companies being banned from telling their contract stars whom to fuck on camera. Both practices have dire economic consequences, especially for a minority that has been historically discriminated against by the white majority, a minority that was brought over here, against its will, in slave ships.
In a prior post, I said I was against forcing talent to do anything. Its the producers and companies who need to be told not to hire performers who are IR dodgers for racist reasons.

man no need to be so over dramatic just because of porn, come on there are tons of european girls and they don't have problems doing black men, in eastern europe most of them do, most czech , hungarian girls etc do interracial, most girls from the former soviet bloc do IR just go to eurobabeindex and you'll see that most girls from russia, ukraine and those neighboring countries do interracial, same with western europe , england , germany , france , italy etc most girls from those countries do interracial so why waste time on racist american girls ?, you're not going to change the producers' minds , do you think they're gonna read your post and suddenlty think "oh i think he's right, shame on me i'm not gonna hire racist girls anymore".
i agree they should do what is morally right in american porn and refuse to hire girls who discriminate but at the end of the day all they're trying to do is make money, don't forget porn is about money , money speaks louder than racial integration or harmony, especially in porn , porn is itself a marginalized branch, there is no virtue to look for in porn, it's all about money.
it should also be mentioned that things are changing drastically, in the 80's most top-shelf talents wouldn't do IR and now the girls who are getting mainstream recognition are precisely the ones who do interracial, things are changing man, just be patient, racism is losing ground and i bet in 10 to 15 years most girls will be doing interracial so there is nothing to worry about and in the meantime let's praise the girls who are open-minded and have no problems with race and forget the prejudiced ones, they're not worth our time.

...are we making any progress with this? Have we come to a conclusion? Or are still working it out? I personally think we're still working it out...porn has issues, the people making it and the people watching it. But that's why we have forum's so we can say our piece and then get back to what really matters...

Goddamn, am I really the only n*gga that watches porn and doesn't care which white girls don't do IR? I just do not care. If a chick doesn't do it, she's an immediate turnoff for me, so it works itself out just fine. I skip Alexis Texas scenes. I skip Priya Rai. Porn just has a bottomless pit of new and established talent that ENJOY doing IR and it's been working out great for me and my dick for years.

The Definitive IR thread took 6 months to reach 6 pages. This thread only took a month. What does that say to me? It says a lot of IR fans are spending way too much time arguing and worrying about starlets that don't and not enough time showing love to the ones that do.
A quick question. If Lex is a sellout for hiring dodgers. What about when Alexis Texas or Nikki Benz does shoot an IR scene, are you going to watch? Because if you do, that makes you a sellout too.

I just feel that the talent's opinion should be first and foremost as they are human and a company is not. I understand that the woman's role in this business is to have an orgasm, not puke -- that is why I support the talent's right to choose and not the company's. In a perfect world race would not be a factor, but it is and we have to accept that. I also do not advocate banning companies unless it is absolutely necessary, but a company should allow the talent reasonable latitude in who they want to fuck -- including IR if he/she wants. I also don't support forcing IR on talent, as I have said numerous times. I also don't understand why a company feels it is to their benefit to not allow white/black parings for sex scenes (whether I care personally or not).
