I am very new to watching porn (I only started watching a few months ago when my gf got me into it) so you will have to escuse my nativity. Today I was watching a very hot scene and afterwords, out of curiosity, I decided to watch the 'behind the scene'. In this I saw that all the actresses and actors walking around and looking bored and not at all enthusiastic. Then one of the actresses saying how she has to spend a long time to warm up her asshole for she scene, while on screen she was talking how anal sex is the best thing ever, but off screen she was taking ages to prepare and seemed to not be comfortable. Also, from speaking to some of the porn-actresses (on this forum) they have said, they like it, but now it seems like they like it in the sense actor likes making a movie, but the sex is just mechanical. Am I correct about this? I want to hear from everyone and i'm also hoping some of the porn actor (or people who work in porn) that I know post here will give their opinion (I am new here, so have little influence, but if anyone here speaks with the porn actors here a lot, I would very appreciate if you ask them to post here). Click to expand That's what I thought at first too, but so far most the actors seem to get along and have a laugh, but the actual sex seems to be just formulaic. The actors and actresses were all very good looking but still. Also I find it hard to imagine you can get much pleasure if you must keep stopping to change positions etc. [Link]

If they are purposely making it fake, ugly and soulless, that's a bit different than if they don't realize they're doing it. Perhaps you could say they just don't care but that doesn't work either because it's so uniformly bad you'd have to be trying to make it that way.
