My advice to Zero Tolerence...quality over quantity. That is, quality of the females. It is so important to hire attractive talent. I would not even consider watching a title if it didnt have AT LEAST 2 great looking girls, and 2 decent looking girls. This list is incomplete, and probably not very useful. But, for me to feel like I've received the most for my pornography dollar, I'd want to see the following things:
1) People who like fucking each other, as opposed to people who just simply allow another person to fuck them. OK, to answer your question, I like to see chemistry between the performers. Good shots of the penetration mixed up with good wider shots to give me an overall feel of what's going on. Enthusiastic girls during the cumshots.

Most of your previous stuff, much like most of my own, was shot for people who are the business of porn, but they are not pornographers; nor do they have any personal interest in porn.It's most likely that your previous clients, bosses, etc, never even looked at your work. That's okay, most people don't like porn so don't worry about it.
What I've slowly learned - for myself - is to know the difference from what I'm "hired" to shoot and what I'm compelled to shoot. Then keep them seperate, and keep your name off of what you're hired to shoot.
But when you shoot something that you're truly compelled to, shoot your version of the truth, and nobody elses.
Fuck cable versions. Fuck performers who want to know "how many positions" or how long of a scene you want. Chase everybody off your set who doesn't need to be there, including any performers you booked if they don't want to be there either. You'll be amazed at the cooperation you'll get.
Meanwhile, you won't be putting your name on most of the stuff you do, but you'll at least know the difference and you'll feel better about yourself.

It seems what viewers want depends on their prferences. I like the HARD stuff -- the harder the better. No one does that better than Rocco! Why? Becuase there is no other male perfromer who comes close to Rocco in terms of intensity and aggression. Having said that, as a steady porn viwer for 20+ years who things 99% of what I watch SUCKS, here are my suggestions for making great porn:
1. HOT looking girls. Its ALL about the girls looks man! I have no desire to see Bisexual Britni or the dozens of other skanky looking hos do anything with anyone. Some of my things I would suggest have already been stated by others so I will just add one more, hire a good makeup artist. I have seen the same girl look like a 5 in one video because she had a haphazard, poorly done makeup job and in another video she looks like 10 because of a high quality, not overly done makeup job. Dropping a few dollars on a good makeup job can make a big difference in my view.

I'm not sure if this has ever been done, and it would probably be a very difficult concept to graft into gonzo-type porn, but I'd like to see the interactive aspect of digital media explored more fully. Here's my input. I've seen a lot of your stuff over the years and quite honestly never understood why you stayed with Metro. I always thought you were more talented than that.
1) Hot Women - kind of a no brainer. You really can't get around this one. I don't care if boobs are fake or real. I think both can be hot, it just depends on the girl. Also, if I were starting a porno company today, one of my first priorities would be to get myself connected in Europe with everybody, both for the purpose of shooting over there and for bringing European female talent over here. I would make it a priority to become educated on the laws and regulations affecting my ability to bring girls over here for shoots.
2) Male talent - bad male talent ruins a scene. See Kyle Stone, Tyce Bune, Jay Ashley, or Pat Myne for further reference. Male talent should be decent looking guys with decent bodies and large penises that do not need to inject their personalities into every scene.
3) Anal - the more the better. Four out of six scenes anal should be mandatory for a Gonzo flick.
4) Interracial is big and isn't going anywhere.

6) Quality over quantity. Aim for six hot scenes with the six best girls you can find rather than three hot scenes and three fillers. A balance of newcomers with the fresh natural look along with more well known girls with more established fan bases. Pay more for the anal scene. Make it a rule to offer an extra grand or whatever for anal. Be willing to pass on girls who won't do it.
7) There is very little good girl/girl stuff being made right now. All girl/girl action should include real kissing. Someone earlier made the comment about the "porno tongue lizard" or something along those lines. I couldn't agree more. I hate that!!
