For instance: Nonoko Hama's videos have already been removed from DMM after her claims, something of interest to any retired pornstar. I've seen some places write that it's about japan wanting to clean up its image for the 2020 olympics, others that it has to do with power struggles between rival criminal gangs. As long as nudity is considered obscene and thus illegal in japan censored porn stays legally grey and thus firmly in the hands of the local mafias. Every single studio/agency/performer is probably aligned with one of the criminal factions. I've only recently started to give the JAV industry stuff more attention, so I'm hesitant on drawing strong conclusions. There are activists in Japan who want to change the culture. Anytime you have incidents like this happening (whether there r here) activists do what activists do to get politicians to pass legislation in line with their agenda. Politicians do what politicians do and so does law enforcement. Japanese law enforcement seems willing to look the other way (with massage parlors anyways) when it comes to certain types of activity - provided it stays out of sight. It's no longer out of sight so the police crack down to get the politicians off their backs (assuming things work there like here). There probably were unsavory practices were going on. Still, this is the perfect time to get your pesky porn record expunged. [Link] |
