She still goes by 'Jenna Haze', strips as 'Jenna Haze' and directs and sales her past performed and present directed movies. As for the pictures, most of the time it's just fans tweeting her pictures of hers that they like. It's not like they're using them for financial or marketing purposes. Now if they were posted on a website or used in advertisement that would be another matter. Many pornstars have moved on, but Jenna is still very much a part of the industry. I also understand and respect her right to share her thoughts on her pure acting and non enjoyment of her porn career, but still think it is in poor taste considering her fans. Like I said, I'm not delusion enough to think these girls love porn so much they'd do it for free, but I'd hope that the majority don't dislike or hate doing it, especially in Jenna's case where it has brought her so many fans and success. She makes porn, she markets porn, and like many active porn performers, she feature dances. She uses the fame she acquired from her on-camera work to advance her other activities in the sex trade, and she still works under her now-de-porn. Everything that I just described seems like facets of the job of being a pornstar (at least to me). You could just as easily argue that pornstars are people who star in porn movies, and directing porn, marketing porn, and feature dancing don't involve starring in porn movies. We're talking semantics not substance. I can't get into Jenna's head, but she is moving into a new stage in her career. I've never been a pornstar, but I imagine that part of the job involves flirting with guys who are acting really creepy. It seems she is trying to figure out how she wants to relate to her fans from now on. I can't really blame her. Besides, she is just a sexy little pothead who realized that she could make a lot of money in the sex business. She has not made any definitive decision, at least not as of three months ago. I know she was always interested in English literature, but I don't actually know that that is what she's studying now. That would seem like a good guess, but I don't know that. I think she does have a history of being used, and at her worst I think she has shown signs of knowing how to use people herself*, but I have no reason to think either party is acting in bad faith between her and Taylor Momsen. I don't know that they are as close as they used to be, but maybe they are. I have no idea about males currently in Jenna's life, either. I'm sure she lives fairly comfortably off of her savings, investment income, and Fleshlight royalties, and that she'll be able to earn a living income for herself when she gets out of school. She's not the first retired performer that I have noted some ambivalence in. About wanting fans to let go and quit asking them to come back, but still wanting everyone to remember how beautiful and sexy they were and are. Well, I remember, and know that she is beautiful.
