Yes I've heard her say on more than one occasion that she was born in Brazil, and moved to the US when her mother remarried. Her mother wanted her to only speak English after that point because her stepfather didn't speak Portuguese, and so that's why her English is quite good now, despite it being her second language. If I remember correctly, she was somewhere in the neighbourhood of 5-7 years old when they moved.

As in, (like i’ve stated in a previous blog on how to live healthy) making home made smoothies, eating mostly organic food(P.S Sprouts is cheaper than Whole Foods), cooking and not eating out at all (you never know or want to know all the “poison” they put in at restaurants or fast food). Things that are natural and from the Earth are whats best for you, and it’s natural medicine. I actually stopped getting sick because of changing my eating habits. The next thing that happened is I was like “whoa i’m 19, I actually have a good head on my shoulders, why am I wasting my time acting like a dumb hoe?” I instantly realized that there is so much out there, so many people that have never had the privileges i’ve had and yet I was being careless, just worried about the next time I was going to get railed, so I quit porn. The next thing I did was get completely sober. I did love my liquor, and I think that was pretty difficult for me but I learned SELF CONTROL. I am in control of my body, the navigator of the ship, and if I hadn’t determined a destination, the ship would have wrecked. Once you understand the power of your mind, you will start doing glorious things you never thought you could. The next thing I did, was move. Yep. I mean, the environment I was around, everyone would just try to pull me back down to who I used to be. So I took my stance and I told myself I would never be that girl who takes 1 step forward and 2 steps back. I don’t think i’m better than anyone at all, but considering who I was and what I want to do, cutting off certain ties is necessary. I turned into a total grandma, I stopped going out completely and instead of going to parties I stay home and watch documentaries. I have never been a greedy person, but I have always been financially stable. I organize my money pretty well and I am a great businesswoman. So for those of you saying that I will eventually run back to porn for whatever reason, you are very wrong. I never made a big deal about leaving porn because a little bit after I quit I was still kind of living that kind of lifestyle but since I quit I have changed and I don’t even have sex anymore, there’s no need to. Scientifically, humans were made to have sex to reproduce and if sex was not enjoyable, we wouldn’t reproduce at all. I dont want any mini me’s any time soon, therefore there’s no need to have sex, I can control myself. I understand girls have made a big deal about leaving that industry before. They would leave for a few months, then come back because they feel they have no other outlet in life. I never wanted to come out and say all this, I had just planned on living my happy- normal life but I have too many people asking me if I am ever going to go back and also I have had way too many porn companies trying to capitalize off of my name through social media these the past few days. ^^^ Can't help but admire Jessie for apparently turning her life around, or a least going in a different direction. Most people spiraling out of control as she was would be unable to rescue themselves. I'm guessing she was the beneficiary of some sort of intervention... or maybe Jessie woke up one day, looked in the mirror and saw she didn't like the person she'd become. Personally, I'll always remember her for her first FTV shoot - incredibly sweet, and adorable beyond belief! ^ pretty much everybody is brainwashed to begin with from public Ed and mass media, but I agree much of the backlash against this ends up as merely a different form of propaganda. Part of the problem is that we grew up with an authoritarian top-down teaching style, and since that is all we know that is what we end up using ourselves. Billy Watson makes a good point about girls being 21 and older. Because herpes and hpv are diseases most sexually active people will eventually catch. Because a condom is little guarantee against those diseases. Because those diseases can be infectious months before they're clinically detectable. Because most people who catch those diseases aren't going to have their lives affected any more than they would from an occasional cold. Well the problem may be that if she was escorting, she didn't necessarily contract anything on set. How does she know who she got it from? Again, herpes and HPV take a while to show any symptoms. It's not like you can nail it down to "oh it must have been on Tuesday" or anything like that. So it's very possible she's doing just as Derrick Burts did, and blaming porn for something that happened to her outside of porn. That's the problem.
