I have a zip disc of photos I downloaded from the internet when I was working on a Mac.
Now I'm on a PC and would like to transfer them over. Should I expect to encounter any difficulties?

Probably not.
However, if you do, just rename the Mac file by adding ".jpg" to the end.
Your PC may not be able to read a Mac-formatted Zip.
How old are these machines?
Do they have USB?
Do they have CD and/or DVD drives?

Thanks for the tips.
The Mac dates from the late 90s, the PC is about three years old.
It has USB connectivity, but its CD and DVD drives are not working. Might a remote drive from a company like Newegg be a solution?

Get an inexpensive USB thumb drive and format it (FAT) on your PC.
Your Mac will recognize a PC-formatted drive.
Copy your Mac files onto the thumb drive.
Then, take them to your PC.
Remember to rename the Mac files, by adding ".jpg" to the end, if you have any trouble opening them on your PC.

Thank you again, I'll let you know how it works out (as well as all the innocent bystanders).
