Not sure why you find it hard to believe that perfect gonzo has a 48kbps bitrate, some sites care about the quality of their 4k videos and aren't trying to do anything and everything to lower the file sizes at the expense of quality. As I also mentioned, LP 4k videos are encoded at 32kbps. Your videos encoded at 28kbps were great quality though, but now that you have lowered to 16kbps(a 3rd of PG), the quality has definitely suffered along with it while watching on my 4k TV, it is not as crisp and the colors do not pop as much. Even worse, you started doing this with Angel Smalls DP IR scene which I have been looking forward to ever since I heard about it and IMO is one of the hottest scenes on your site in a long time. I have defended you quite often on this thread about other issues because I am a fan, and just like Vawkes, I was a little insulted to see your reaction to my initial post about bitrates. High cost of 4k screens? The cost has been nearly cut in half over the past year, even the most technology deficient people in the world, my parents, have a 4k TV upstairs and downstairs. I have a great quality 40' Samsung 4k TV in my office that cost $450 on sale. Cost is far from prohibitive.

I'm curious, those of you who download the 4K scenes, how long does it take you to download the average scene?

Very few mainstream places offer 4K. And from my experience most that do only offer it on selected titles. For instance on Amazon Bosch season 2 is in 4K. The Man in High Tower is 1080p. If so few mainstream places are that would signify to me a cost issue.

I have 4MB download on my fibre optic connection so it takes me about 30 minutes depending on the length of the scene. That said, I downloaded a new 4k scene from Lubed yesterday and it was 18Gb for a 38 minute scene and took 90 minutes to get it . I couldn't work out why it was so large but then I saw the bitrate - 68,886kbps! I can't fucking wait to watch it, especially as it's a Holly Hendrix scene, it's gonna look unbelievable! I think you are talking about something completely different on 4k media, though not sure. This is not having to master a 4k blu-ray disc though and make tons of copies for release. This is just encoding it and putting it up on a website for download. Best Buy and Amazon are starting to get in a lot more 4k blu-rays, and Netflix has a ton of 4k streaming now.

shark1 i'm beginning to question your sanity, you're really only judging quality by bitrate numbers without taking into consideration the compression, I bet you can't even tell the bitrate without checking.... we pay tons in bandwidth every month which we have to keep track of. Insulted? give me a break, watch the movies for the girls not the bit rate... I think we were first to bring 4k out and our titles have great resolution. "If I was doing the best I can"? ....you have no idea what it takes to deliver content the way we do. You should be happy with what you are getting from studios as far as 4k is concerned. I guarantee once these other studios look at their bandwidth they are sucking up they will find ways to compress better, it seems these other studios are new to 4k. Quit being a pixel nazi

Then guarantee that all the other sites that offer better quality content are doing it incorrectly. While I agree it is not all about bitrate and never said that is the ONLY thing that matters, I said there was a clear difference in quality in your newest 4k videos, another poster who has seen the new videos agreed with me and was also disappointed by your initial response. While watching your newest 4k 16kbps videos, they are similar in quality to other sites that offer 12kbps FullHD videos like Brazzers, Pervcity, LP, etc. If you are content with that, that's fine. I am also a member of LP forum and they take all video criticism seriously and have increased the bitrate of their videos for FullHD and 4k videos. They even offer samples of videos they have encoded using different bitrates/compression to see which one members like better, they don't just say 'take what we give you and shutup.' I instructed my membership at JulesJordan (JJ) to be cancelled last week. Without doubt, the content at JJ is some of the best around, but after getting used to watching in such a high picture quality, I refuse to settle for anything less these days. This is due to the likes of JJ, Perfect Gonzo, LegalPorno and GirlsDoPorn setting the standard so high to begin with. I'm not trying to come across as an annoyance, Jules, but I and 'shark1' are simply pointing out as customers, that your 4K video quality has indeed dropped, despite what you say about the bitrate not being a significant factor. The new 4K videos are of course better than your average 1080p video across the web, but it is nowhere near as sharp or vibrant as they were previously. Of course the actual action being filmed is the most important thing, but I just can't be satisfied watching your scenes in this lower 4K standard, when I know if it was released earlier in the year, it would have been perfect shown off 4K's superiority. The use of 4K video is certainly going to increase over the next year or two, but it will be a shame to look back on classic scenes which are in this current standard of 4K video. They won't meet the 4K standard. I'd love to return as a member of JJ in the near future, but it won't happen until 4K videos are brought back up to their former standard.
