[/quote] I must be the only person in the world who doesn't like watching Manuel Ferrara in scenes, so personally it's a shame that he's the male talent in most of JJV's movies these days. Obviously people love him & that's why he's used so much but I just don't buy any movies where he's in most of the scenes.

No you're not the only person, I know I can't stand watching any scene he's involved with. I'm sure there are several other people here who feel the same. Sure the girls love him and he may be great to work with but that is entirely different from actually watching him perform, which is just about unbearable.
I can't wait to see Veruca James in Sperm Receptacles when it comes out in a couple of days. From the trailer, it seems as though she's the only one (apart from AJ) who doesn't spit the cum out or take just one load at a time! For me there isn't much of a gap in these 2 things. I enjoy the scene a lot more if the girl seems to be enjoying herself and hopefully getting off. So the fact that "girls love him and he may be great to work with" actually does positively affect the viewing experience, in my mind. If the girl wants to work with him it stands to reason that would make for a better scene than someone she is not so happy to work with. Just wanted to share my opinion and view.
I think it doesn't matter how good a performer is, one they start appearing in every movie a company does, in more than one scene per movie, people are gonna get sick of him. Say Brad Pitt was in every movie one of the big studios did. He's a great actor, good looking, etc....but people would still get annoyed. That's where I'm at with Manuel right now.

I find this comparison lacking in that the amount of male talent that I believe to be on the level of Manuel is far less than the number of actors on Brad Pitt's level. There are vastly fewer males in porn than there are in mainstream movies. Your assertion may very well be correct in many peoples eyes, but the analogy was lacking. If there were literally only 30-40 actors in all of Hollywood you would see Brad Pitt in every other movie by certain studios. Also, just to be clear people are making this more broad than it is in reality. Manuel really only is in specific directors movies. Certainly not all Jules titles. Either way, it is an opinion based debate for the most part and as such neither side will likely be swayed. As I stated before I happen to like most Manuel scenes and haven't gotten "sick" of him yet. Time will tell, but most likely if girls keep reacting positively to him I will keep watching.
lol i knew someone would try to over analyze what I said...it was just an example to better explain my train of thought, I wasn't trying to make a flawless analogy. My main point, which you seemed to miss, was that the fact that I and possibly others are getting tired of Manuel has nothing to do with disliking him or believing he has a lack of talent, it's just a natural reaction to over-exposure. Shouldn't a director has his own style on the work he creates and it certainly wouldn't be achieved by simply being a casting agent and working the camera. What comments section is this? Link? Also this doesn't prove your statement that fan complaints led to this decrease in scenes. I see how you could make the connection, but you haven't presented proof. Also, to the point of decrease, Manuel has been in the industry for 14 years and has only done 36 scenes for RK and 50 for Brazzers. This is not an extensive history or really even regular use in their scenes. B/C of that it seems odd to read much into a decrease in the number of scenes he does for them, because he NEVER has done a lot of scenes for them. If Sins or Keiran didn't have scenes at Brazzers for months that would be a story because of the long history they have. Manuel not shooting with them for a few months is actually not a drastic shift at all, he has had much longer stretches in his career of not shooting with them. P.S. - I forgot to add that your comparison of Reality King's use of Mick and Everhard to show Manuel's lack of use is odd.
