The attention would be divided with two scenes releasing at the same time, so would probably the new subscribers who would be brought by Lana's scene, they would have to decide among joining one of the two sites. So he acted and released the scene earlier. Otherwise I do not see any reason of releasing the scene earlier since it was scheduled for 27th as per the calendar on the site.
