I get the feeling that Lana is not quite as innocent and helpless as she may appear. Sweet, adorable, honest, and kind? Yes. But it took a lot of balls to enter the business in the first place, and she shot scenes with many of the top stars at a ridiculous, probably record setting pace right off the bat. Even after the break, she has come back strong and now seems to be moving full steam ahead. She's a bad ass. That said, Yes I sometimes feel protective of Lana, especially as one of the fans on this site who has encouraged her when it comes to the business. And the idea of her going to Europe without any representation and getting involved with Rocco and others over there does concern me, and I hope she's got people who travel with her and protect her. Truth is for me, she's a top level performer who is gonna fake it when she needs to in order to make a better scene. It's her job to try and find a real connection and I'd say more often than but it seems real to me. It sounds like one of Lana's big changes after her brief hiatus is that she only wants to work with guys she's attracted to so that bodes well either way.

Damn ... this thread becomes more and more interesting, more and more addictive and it seems that me too I lost a lot last couple days... There are a lot of different issues which are risen here by several posters, each one could be a separate topic. I really feel that the majority of the posters, weather are expressing a cynical or a more elaborated opinion they always have something to say. There is also that interview which nobody actually comment anything about. The correspondence from Miami was not very good but I think I manage to distinguish most of her words. They will help with booking and get you lined up at good venues. I don't know who is credible in that area. However, I'm sure if you post a tweet other porn girls will respond with recommendations. I would tweet questions like this in general if I were you. You can't be expected to know everything and other girls who have been in the business longer than you can provide you with some recommendations when needed. P.S. If you are self-booking, you might want to have pinned tweet with your contact information.

^^^If you are not looking to go full scale right now and only want to blog then Tumblr is definitely the best option specially since its is free and they allow adult and pornographic content. Blogger and Wordpress (also free) are far better blogging platform but sadly wordpress does not allow pornographic content while on the other hand Blogger allows pornographic content but they tend to sometimes delete such sites without warning. (Unless of course, you are not planning to post anything pornographic then certainly you can consider wordpress.com and blogger.com. Both do allow nudity but not explicit content). Also By default there is no shop features in tumblr but you can add those with a few tricks. Your second option would be to hire a professional who would then create a website from scratch or use a content management system. The advantage of this is that you will not have a hassle or fear of a third party deleting your blog. Also you can add features as you want. Third option would be to contact the pornstar networks. I think I know 3 mainly: PornstarPlatinum, Puba and 21Sextury like I have already mentioned. There may be others too but I do not remember as of right now. They maintain a lot of top pornstars' official website. Fourth option would be to contact Rob or Greg since they have their own websites and they know how to maintain it. Specially Rob who I think handles his website by his own self. I also agree with @fanofman's other comment that you should try to keep a look out for any infringement on your trademark. Most of the times opportunists try to register these type of domain just in case a performer gets popular and later on they can sell back the domain to the performer for huge bucks. Also some may use your name to scam and dupe people. Tend to disagree with @fanofman that you should consider trademarking your name as of right now but yes certainly if you go very big then for sure you should. Just be wary for now. ^Nah. I don't agree with the wait and see when it comes to trademarks. A current big girl in the industry never did it. An entertainment company owns the trademark to her name now. I can't imagine she has the resources to challenge their ownership since it has already been registered and approved. That company can make money off the name she built long after she leaves the business. Sites like legalzoom.com allow people to apply for trademarks, incorporate, complete legal forms, etc. with relative ease and at an affordable price. No, it doesn't take the place of an attorney or accountant but it is an option used by many.

Some web hosts do not allow adult content so you have to be careful while choosing a host. After you purchase a hosting, you will get something called Cpanel or control panel/dashboard. Nowadays people do not really need to build websites right from scratch. There are pre packaged software that you can install from the Cpanel. Wordpress is one of them. ( a blogging platform CMS ). Then after you can choose among many ready-made themes and add plugins for many different features that you want. If you want to delve in it in your free time you can, it is not that hard as it sounds. And well its the internet era, if you get into a roadblock there is always google search and well we fans are always here to help :) And yeah if you end up using Tumblr or Wordpress or anything else, you can redirect your domain "lanarhoades.com" to that site too. I don't think a big website is a good idea at this time. You need time, resources, a good platform, energy, content, dedication and focus to do this properly. If you are lacking in any of these areas, then it isn't a good idea. You will be disappointed and so will your fans. A Tumblr (free and easy) blog is a good place to communicate at length with fans if she wants to. She stated in her recent radio interview that she was boring. If you are beautiful but boring, then web camming or interactive sites (periscope/snapchat, etc) probably isn't a good idea either. I do think selling some solo videos at manyvids.com or clips4sale might be potential source of additional income. This is a business. Make some money girlfriend!
