With 64 DVDs released so far, that's roughly 64 * 4 scenes = 256. On the site, there are ~300 scenes, so this means around 50 scenes that are released online will eventually find their way on DVD. I would only call them compilations if they were already once released on DVD and now rehashed, as it is often the case with New Sensations/Digital Sin DVDs, or Zero Tolerance/3rd Degree etc., all the multi-disc issued from Elegant Angel, and some of the Evil Angel DVDs (where it says "from the archives...") and of course some releases by third tier studios, where you get decades old scenes, sometimes with new invented actor names... Back in the old days without internet, this was where the studios would screw the customer over and over, as this was basically money for nothing, same old same old. [Link]

Click to expand I think the logic is that in a situation where lots of people are out of work (recession or depression), that maybe some retired or mostly-retired performers might try to make a few quick bucks by shooting some scenes.
