If she really wanted to move on, she'd use her real name and go on to live a normal life. Nobody would remember her without the makeup and her tits not out. Why would she keep saying "omg I can't shake the porn I did" when she keeps using her PORN name and she keeps doing interviews and promoting her IG (WHICH GOT SO MANY FOLLOWERS BECAUSE SHE WAS A PORN STAR). It does not make sense saying she wants to live a normal life but she can't let go of her following and won't stop using her porn name. Click to expand Because saying and doing are 2 different things. And when women say they want to totally be rid of porn it's impossible/unrealistic/just talk most of the time. Maybe in the non-social media era could Performers leave and try to start a new life where they don't get recognized, but name or not it's impossible now. Their photos and videos are everywhere forever. All it takes is 1 individual from whatever new profession the woman is going to try entering to recognize them and they're burned whether that be from obtaining a job, keeping a job or advancing in said job. While I understand the point you're making in some ideal world where all one has to do is change their name and "retire" that's just not the real world we're in. So, they "hedge their bets" if you will by keeping their name and their loyal fans for either a) possible returns and not having to start over after losing their entire fan base or b) keeping some $$$ flowing in through other avenues. Bascially, women who leave in search of a "normal life" can tweet and say all they want about finding that normalcy but it's just not possible and in the back of their mind they know that so they keep at least their name to continue profiting off of it. I'm not saying it's the smart move, but I do understand it. Here's an example for ya: Austin Kincaid. I was a huge fan of hers. She got out quietly and I believe entered a career in real estate. Her videos still exist on the web and deep on sites for companies she shot for. But social media wasn't a huge thing when she was Performing. No twitter, instagram, etc. still exists. However, her site still does. You can still pay for a membership and access the content on it.
