And people tend to say "Too pretty for porn" when girls with certain looks enter the biz. If you can more easily picture a girl on the runway than in a porn scene, it tends to apply.
Not as much as you guys seem to imply. For instance a good performance only varies a little if we are talking gonzo VS scenario based porn. In gonzo it's considered a good performance if the performer acts like she is enjoying what is being done to her and is also able to returning the favor. In a scenario based scene you simply have the same expectation as gonzo but with the added ability to play a part other than yourself, have some dialogue and convey whatever emotion the script requires. I'm sure you guys can think of plenty of scenes that were good to excellent so I'm going to give you examples of scene where the performance is lacking or simply bad. If at anytime the performer looks for direction from some behind the camera than you are automatically taking out of the fantasy. If she does it multiple times than that scene is going to hard to enjoy. If a performer is visibly uncomfortable during any part of the scene than you are again taking out of the fantasy and the scene can be ruined. I could go one but you get the idea.

Longevity has almost nothing to do with "talent" as it were. How good you are at doing porn isn't particularly related to how long you've been doing it. You can say she's not a pornstar because she didn't stick around long enough, but to say she didn't have the "talent" to become one because she didn't stick around long enough makes no sense. At worst, you can say she had the "talent" but not the "drive" to do it.

Observations from the Erotica X scene with James Dean that lead me to believe she wouldn't last long. Her eyes darted off camera too many times to count, presumably for direction on what she should have been doing. She had a blank look for most of the scene and then a distressed look for some of it. Then the capper was she was basically fighting back tears by the end. It's pretty obvious if you watch it. She wasn't engaged and it was easy to tell it just wasn't for her. The money surely was but likely once she had quite a bit of that, pushing the escape button was no surprise. With all that said, I wouldn't be surprised to see her back at some point. What other job is going to pay girls with no college education five figures in a month for working less than half the days in a month?

You can probably safely assume she has at least one more with Naughty America because they normally shoot at least 2 consecutively and can one for a later release. She was in Vegas shooting at one point if I recall. That can mean Brazzers in many cases.
I always felt she would be back within 3 months. We can only speculate but going back to an ordinary life in a small town in Texas probably would be a welcome escape/break at first but I imagine the yearning for more would always be there. ^I'm well aware of the forum etiquette. I'm also aware that it does not violate the etiquette to suggest that there is nothing inexplicable about a teenager doing something rash. Questions have been asked on this page and the last and "She's a teenager" is a very reasonable, inoffensive answer to several of those questions.

^I don't get it either, and I say that as someone who takes forum etiquette quite seriously. Speculating that a teenager may have acted impulsively is far from libelous. I'm sure I'm not the only who remembers what it was like to be that age.
