It is usually epic. Avluv, Rone, Hendrix all did a series of scenes that were great . Angel Smalls were some of their best selling ever. Avluv just went over to do a few more. AJ and Maddy did some great ones (although they got ripped for some of Proxy's camerawork as she was very new to directing). They made deals with some US guys (assblanca and American Anal), and they are doing decent work, but its not the same as the LP style so the fans are not buying it in droves and they are getting ripped on the forum for the most part. They had gangbang auditions and gangbang girl, most volumes between 2000 and 2010 had DAP. Nasty Nymphos had several DAPS. Un natural sex for a large portion of their series had DAP in almost every scene especially when Chico Wang was directing. The earlier volumes before him had regular DAPs too. They sprinkled DAPs in most of their series which were releasing volumes every month. The Assman series had DAPs at times, Diabolic Debauchery had some, I could go on. Red light put DAP in a lot of their series as well. Jules Jordan put a lot of DAPs in his films (weapons of ass destruction was one of his feature lines and it had many of them). Platinum x was another company filming DAPs regularly in series such as Full Anal Access. There were many companies going down the DAP path as much as they could as they had the money to pay for it ,and it was in high demand. There were not many series with the words "Double anal " in the title (although there was one called Double Anal Plugged and one called Double Anal Drill Team, and both had multiple volumes). i can take 4 of my favorites from that era.. Sandra Romain ,Audrey Hollander, Jayna Oso, and Kelly Wells.. and we are almost 200 DAPs just from those 4 pulled together. I could, if I took an hour in IAFD, find you at least 20 performers who had at least 10 DAPs between 2000 and 2010. So, I am already in the hundreds with minimal research just with names that I would remember personally. I am also talking specifically with US filmed porn. It was not rare between 2000 and 2010 and if you wish to deny that, you are welcome to. But attempting to discredit me when the facts are in plain writing in IAFD is not much of a debate. DAP was not rare in US porn and while LP is the first place to have 90+% of their scenes with DAP, they certainly are not the first time in porn history that DAPs were available in large numbers. They do go over the top in many of their scenes , but they are the prime source these days for DAP fans as the US scene is not making a huge number (although still making some good ones with big names throughout the year). if you wish to still believe that DAPs were rare throughout US porn history, you are welcome to your belief. But ,the facts are the facts and this is all laid out. your position that "DAPs have always been rare in US porn." is not supported by the facts from 2000 to 2010. Hundreds of scenes is not "rare". We used to have a thread here long ago that was a "DAPtabase" which has been long gone but was pretty good back in the day. It was not comprehensive but was detailed enough to get a picture that there was a lot of double anal in the US porn scene. And, most gonzo companies did DAPs on a regular basis. The anabolic/diabolic/redlight/platinum X were kind of the same guys working or starting their own companies or moving back and forth and they did the bulk of the releases. I am not speaking of the quality, that is subjective. Just combating your absurd statement that DAP has always been rare, it wasn't. Why it is rare now is another discussion surrounded around production costs, piracy, the culling of companies putting out mediocre product, and so forth. The culture in US porn has changed too, back then DAP was part of the career progression and where you made the bigger money. Now that so few are made, it is not really in the discussion of legit career path for most performers nowadays other than doing a couple of them for some big showcase or release. Strange discussion when someone is ignoring the facts that are in writing (this is not my opinion, I am giving you legit information from IAFD which is not created by me and is simply a record keeping source).
