I have been planning to, but haven't. They were suggested to me when I got into Maria fairly recently by board member Patrick. He seems to have experience ordering from them. BTW, those US based ones are almost guaranteed to be DVD-Rs. Read their FAQs. No covers, just a DVD-R in a sleeve. Not something I normally would buy, but for a time it was the only way I could figure out to see some of the films. Oh, just saw that you listed the site. Those are definitely DVD-Rs. SquarePlus.net sells the original region 2 dvds. The Attackers movie you are talking about was her February movie. Legend is her March realease. I've heard her April release will be for DAS. Japanese companies rarely put trailers on their websites. I have not seen one for her Attackers release.

I always buy Japanese dvds from http://www.xxxdvd.co.jp. You can't search by actress name, but if you know the item number or the company (such as Dasu! in the case of most of Maria's latest efforts) you can see the dvd boxcovers. I have also emailed them in the past and asked if they could get me dvds not listed on their site, and they have got them in for me no problem at all.
Does anyone know if any of these sites will ship to Canada? Patrick has spoken highly of Maria Ozawa and now my interest has been piqued. I think my main concern is with Canada Customs seizing JAV(Is this the correct term?) I'm not sure how extreme it is, but if as Patrick indicated these movies concentrate/spotlight one star then I'm all for it.
I'm not sure. As far as Squareplus is concerned, I saw go ahead and write them. They speak English and will get back to you within a day or so. They should know as their business model is built to shipping to foreign countries.

I am sure they all ship to Canada - I have bought from all of these sites and they all ship to Australia. I don't know anything about Canadian Customs, but Australian Customs are pretty cool about JAV. Remember, JAV is censored, so Customs shouldn't really have an issue with it unless you buy stuff that has violence or beastiality in it - which is always an issue with a lot of JAV (every now and again you will even find a preview of a beastiality movie on an otherwise vanilla sex dvd!). Some of Maria's latest films may push the bondage/violence envelope in some jurisdictions, but I still think that she tends very much to the mainstream vanilla porn side of JAV.
a technical question Patrick : are Maria Ozawa's DVDs DVD-9 or DVD-5 generally (= double-layered DVD) ? (most of her movies are running something like 2 hours I believe) some of them are full screen or are there some of them in 16/9 anamorphic transfer ? (I've been surprised to see that there are already many Japanese DVDs in Blue-Ray...)
I'd have to check but I believe they are all full screen. Some of the movies she shares with other girls are as long as 4 hours. Those are split on 2 discs. I may be mistaken but I believe they are DVD-9.

Well they do make uncensored JAV but unfortunately all of Maria Ozawa's stuff is pixelated which in my opinion does not make it worthwhile watching ... she seemingly is on a very well paid contract so no chance of her coming over here and working for a lot less money I would guess.
I understand your feeling concerning the pixelation. That was almost a stop point for me, but I found Maria so attractive and wanted to see her stuff so much that I took the plunge. It actually isn't as bad as you'd think. Most of it is pretty minimal and despite the fact that it would be better without any pixelation, it still can be enjoyed. As far as what movies to look up, I've only seen like 8 of her movies, but the ones I liked the best were Sex In School (school uniforms), 6 Costumes Pako Pako (variety of outfits, like tennis skirt, etc.), Pako Pako Airlines (dressed as airline attendant) and Beautiful Announcer (this is a much rougher video, so just be aware of that.)
Since I've seen all her movies, I think I can help you with this one. She started out by making 17 movies for S1. I would call these her pretty movies. I haven't seen most of these in a long time. The one I do remember as my favorite is this one. Looking at the pics should tell you why. She then moved to DAS. The movies she made for them are much more hardcore than what she did for S1. It's often scenes with a lot of guys, mostly against her will. My favorites from those are this one,this one, and this one. She also did 1 movie for Kira-Kira. It's a 4 hour movie she shares with 2 other girls. This one is most well known for including the only girl/girl scene she has done. This one is very good. Her last 2 movies have been for Attackers. They are more story driven. They're not bad but not among my favorites. If you have questions about one specific movie just ask me, I'll gladly watch it again to jolt my memory.

I don't think the anal/dp video is the way to go for one of you first Ozawa dvds. First off, they use this incredibly stupid pussy bandage since they cannot show the vagina. Second, she really doesn't seem to enjoy anal and really hates dp. The dp lasts like half a minute and she is crying throughout it.

If you're not going to buy a lot of her movies, the S1 compilation is a good way to start. If you prefer Digital Playground stuff where the girls look good and everybody's happy, stick with her S1 stuff. I don't like her dp movie , it looks like she's crying for real in this one. It was just done so DAS could win the prestigious AV Grand Prix (they didn't even win). They probably gave her a boatload of money for that one. Hi Patrick, Did you buy these 2 new titles at Squareplus.net ? or did you order these DVD somewhere else ? I'm still looking for an us or canadian or european retailer which would sell these titles and especially Maria Ozawa first movies (these are the early ones from S1 which I like the best)- but most of the site sells bootleg not the original DVDs... I've bought Six Costumes on Square and the Kill Bill Ninja Killer (not the exact title, but it was your avatar a little while ago... ;-) and both DVDs were original... Altough I'm not a fan the hog-tied stuff in the second title, I've to admit that the ninja parts were nicely done... she looks great as a ninja fighters (even if she surrenders quickly... ;-)

You can find all region dvd players around pretty cheap. Another option is to download all region software and watch the dvds on a computer. I have downloaded this software to my laptop specifically so I can watch JAV. I think dvd players installed in most new computers will also let you play a different region dvd four or five times before it asks you to lock in a choice of region. If you have a Playstation or X-Box console I think you can also get a chip put in it to allow games and dvds from other regions to be played. Overall, I think the cheapest option may be to download the software to watch it on your computer. See, for instance, dvd-x-player.
Thanks for the suggestions Cuddly Wombat. As far as the region free software, I checked the system requirments and it made no mention of Macs. I am assuming that Mac doesn't support this software? It does look like a great option though. Especially since I am looking to get my Maria Ozawa fix really soon or risk going crazy!
