I think combining the sites is a huge step forward for that "X" brand. I have had a HardX membership since shortly after the site launched and I found out Mason was at the helm. It will be nice to be able to check out the other content. I'm glad Mason and the "X" team are so successful in what they do, and that they use their success to benefit the interests of their loyal fans! Much thanks to Mason and Co for their devotion to great scenes and great innovations in the industry!

I guess all we can do is wait until July 3 for the launch. I've got my fingers crossed the updates will still flow through at a decent rate with this format - like you say, two a week would make for good value.

Probably more value in shooting popular newcomers who just come available for gangbang. Aidra Fox has done a gangbang or two. Gangbangs cost so much for minimal return (depending on popularity of woman), for example, Lana is popular right now so its an obvious casting choice for a better return.
That being said, Aidra is a top performer and any casting of her is welcome :)

As for who could possibly be the second girl for the next Gangbang Me, you have to ask yourself this: Would they really pick two girls for it who also just appeared in Facialized 4? Don't get me wrong, Ashley Adams or Aidra Fox would be great, but I'm not so sure HardX would want to devote both Gangbang Me slots to girls who just appeared in the Facialized movie. I'd just like to say that Mason is TWICE as good of a director that Greg Lansky is. I wish she put out as many scenes as he does. I'd be perfectly happy if DarkX took babes that Blacked used only once or twice and put them to good use. Mason could put Lansky to shame if DarkX had the same casting successes. one quick questions for Mason
1) did you ever tought to launch your own studio & start releasing scenes with a decent FullHD ( for these days ) video quality or even better 4k resolution?
the HD quality of your stuff didn't change since 2008/2009, to be honest Hardx videos are even worse than elegantangel days. Your competitors offer much better video quality in therms of resolution, bitrate compression, framerate etc. Jules Jordan's 4k videos are unreal. Lansky's as well. dogfart video quality is way better than the hardx network.
can we start holding our breath? or it's not going to happen?

Changing the resolution or the compression would be fine by me but I kind of wince at the idea of Mason switching to a higher frame rate. One of the reasons I like Mason's scenes is that they have a cinematic quality to them. A lot of high frame rate porn I've seen ends up looking like cheap home video. With Mason's stuff I turn down the lights and feel like I'm watching a movie.

Agree with you. And also possible higher frame rate, bitrate doesn't depend from Mason anyway. That depends from gamma entertainment and fame digital. They are in charge for many, many sites like EA, Rocco, 21sextury, milehigh, girlsway... and all of them are with identical frame rate, bitrate. And it's impossible to just X sites get improvment, would be necessary to all sites get improvment and that's a big job.
For me, the good new is that soon all X sites will be under one membership again. They already were together since 1st day till March 1st 2017. I'm sure that tech guys know what I'm talking about.

Did you discover some glitch in their system that allowed you to access all of the X-sites with just one username and password?
Anyways...yeah, I have to admit that the visual quality of a 1080p video on HardX (and all the other Gamma Entertainment sites, like Evil Angel) is significantly inferior to what other sites offer. For me, this subpar sharpness and clarity is most noticeable when watching the intro interviews and tease sequences at the start of HardX scenes.

This is one of the main reasons I don't buy Hardx (or sites who use similar video quality) movies anymore (sorry Mason!) - the video is choppy and juddery, not smooth at all. I'm no technical expert, but I don't understand why video quality in porn is actually getting worse, not better. If you look at porn videos from, for example, 2008, the picture is perfect and smooth - just like it would be if you were watching it happening in front of you. Now, nearly 10 yrs later, I'm not sure if there's an issue with studios not knowing how to properly process video files anymore, but Hardx and others (e.g. Jonni Darkko, Bryan Gozzling) are producing juddery, artificial looking scenes, which I find completely off-putting.
Anyway, I don't want to derail this thread. Maybe I'll start a new thread about this - it seems to be getting worse!

I'm a big fan of Mason's work but I'll have to agree the picture quality certainly is not up to par with other studios. Elegant Angel's Blu Ray releases look miles better, I'd even say Rachel Starr Is Badass's standard DVD (Picture & Audio)
I'd also add Hard X has been too samey lately, same locations, same male cast. You should change it a little, like a Gangbang or Blowbang outdoors or something.

I would definitely agree that HARDX's video quality, particularly Mason's, has become quite poor compared to other studios. Over-exposed highlights, crushed shadows, grainy footage, never white-balanced. HARDX's video quality is no longer anywhere close to market leading.
But your other points are difficult ones. Judging by the porn landscape, there doesn't appear to be as many quality locations available to producer's anymore. Many of them appear to shoot everything at their own houses. Mason, and a small handful of others, at least change up the locations a little.
Any how many elite male performers are there? Producers are probably concerned about the potential for a failed shoot if they try "new" talent. I guessing a re-shoot could really undermine the profitability of a DVD given the decreased margins in adult entertainment these days. Mason wants high quality content, and therefore only has a few options.
