By hateful, I mean wishing for someone to be beaten, tortured, and raped for no other reason than simply because you dislike him. That's the definition of hatred. Do you know this man personally? If so, has he ever done anything wrong or illegal to you to make you wish this upon him? If you don't know him personally, then are you basing your hatred on a waggish persona created only for entertainment value? Either way, it's just plain unhealthy.
As for the punishment fitting the crime, do you really believe that is the case here? Do you really believe that someone who ships legal adult videos within the United States, which is supposedly the freest country on Earth, rightly deserves to be imprisoned for four years? Do you really believe that it's a valubale use of time and money to prosecute and incarcerate people simply for distributing porn? Do you really call that justice? Any rational person who actually sits down and thinks about this would not call this justice, neither would they able to believe that it's happening in the 21st-century.
Happy New Year, Mariah! I like your work. But once again, I must disagree with you. I didn't want to go back and forth on the scat allegations. But since you keep saying he did it, I'll respond to it.
You wrote, "Its a fact that Max did scat and his distribution company refused to ship it and dropped his contract. He ended up being able to only send it to Europe and he denied it because it is illegal. It is widely known that he did it among people in the business including agents and talent, so because he denied it means nothing." Maybe I'm just a perpetual skeptic. But something about this doesn't sound right.
Like I said, I read where Max himself said that he has never done, nor would he ever do, scat. You say he that lied about this, and that it is "widely known" that he really did it. So here's the part that I'm not getting: Why would he lie about it to his own fans? Max did everything else in his uncensored movies including pissing, fisting, slapping, name-calling, puke, etc. If he had no problem showing all this, then why would he suddenly draw a line at showing scat if he was also doing that? Seems like he would just go ahead and show it along with everything else instead of saying that he just doesn't do it. Also, scat is not exactly a clean act. It's quite messy. Even if he was really doing it and editing it from the final versions of his movies, would it be reasonable to assume that we would still see some "evidence" on the girl of the act having occurred?
It doesn't matter to me whether or not he did it, and I'm not into scat at all. I don't think people who do it should go to jail. I just don't watch it. I'm also just saying that I have a hard time believing that he would go through all the trouble of denying it and removing it from all of his movies, as you say he did, when he had no problems showing us every other controversial act he did.

I have no problem with Max being raped and sodomized in prison. Life is karmic. If you give you receive. So, it's only appropriate that Max end up on the receiving end after so many years of "giving."

life is not karmic. people will get raped in prison, so i'd prefer it to be max, but he is still more likely to be the rapist in prison. the sharks have probably recognized him as one of their own and given him a place of honor.

In my view, all that matters is whether or not it's relatively safe. The judgment call belongs with the participants. If it's OK with them, it's OK with me. I've done it (As a bottom), I liked it and I'm still here. I did it for the first time well over 20 years ago and have done it off and on since then. I've never gotten sick from swallowing urine or getting it on my body.
As for your assertion that someone must have issues? Who cares?
Feces? Sure. But there are still many people who have done the scat thing and lived long lives so the danger is not exactly as extreme as your posts have made it seem. Is it disgusting? Sure. I won't argue with you on that one. Urine? Not so much.
Again, urine is virtually sterile. The small amount of bacteria that may be in the urine of a relatively healthy person is no more dangerous than the bacteria that is in your mouth and nose right now. Again, fecal matter has a lot of bacteria in it.

There will always be deviations from the norm. For the most part though, life really is karmic. The reason is simple. The person who "gets away with something" typically thinks he will do so again. And, if he succeeds the second time around, then he naturally ratchets up the lie, cheat and/or theft. And why shouldn't he? He now has a pattern of positive reinforcement for lying, cheating and/or stealing. By the time he gets caught though, the crime is so big that he ends up paying for all the little transgressions along the way. The concept is similar to gambling. And, how many people who win big at the start of their habit wash their hands forever of gambling? Very, very few. In the end, the house always wins.

california's rape statute of limitations is 10 years. if someone had pressed charges years ago, then he could have had a sex offender notice on his front door. that would have been fair warning. there may still be enough time for the later performers, but california's judicial system is a notorious fuckup.

^His sentence is for four years. That's if he's not released earlier for good behavior, or upon winning his appeal.
His videos are not legal in certain places in the USA, which was established by his trial. Prior to the trial, his videos were not known to be illegal anywhere in the USA, as has been pointed out by earlier posts in this thread.
Furthermore, the court did not rule that pissing, similulated forced sex, or any other specific act Max did, is illegal. Max wasn't found guilty of pissing on girls. He was found guilty of obscenity, which can pertain to anything from plain nudity, to regular intercourse, etc. Thus, the jury found him guilty of obscenity, which pertains to the content as a whole, and not to any specific act.
Legally, something cannot be labeled obscene just based on only one or more particular acts, while labeling everything else in it as not obscene. The whole thing must be ruled obscene, regardless of the specific acts therein. To emphasize this point, Stagliano's movies, from what I have seen, do not contain pissing or simulated rape. Yet, he is still being charged for obscenity.
Since I don't know who specifically you're talking about, and I haven't heard anyone who actually worked with him accuse him of these things myself, I can't comment on it other than to say that it's just more hearsay (i.e., "I heard somebody say that somebody else said that Max did _______").
So going by what you're saying, you need to be in prison too.
Not true. Max had been tried previously on similar charges, but was never convicted. This is what accounts for the Feds finding an especially conservative venue to try him where the likelihood of conviction was higher. Believe it or not, there are some places in the country where you'll get thrown in jail for spitting gum on the ground. Such places are great if you're a prosecutor looking for a slam dunk verdict on a court case straight out of the 17th-century.
Only in the kind you don't like by throwing the makers of it in jail, which all boils down to the same thing.
You obviously don't know what rape is. It's also really unsettling how people who don't know what it is are the main ones who love to carelessly go throwing the word around, thereby lessening the real severity of it.
What about all the evil people who never get caught? How is life karmic for them?
Your assertion is not only ridiculous, but also unfair. The implication of your statement is that people deserve whatever happens to them in life, which is simply not true. Are you saying that all the people who have to suffer illness, poverty, abuse, death, and all the other misfortunes of life have all done something to deserve it? Are you saying that good things happen to only good people, and bad things happen to only bad people? Any person in his right mind should be able to look around at the world and see that this line of thinking simply isn't true, atleast not in this life.

These people are not listening to you. You could repeat yourself a thousand times and it would all be for nothing. They won't believe this obscenity thing is their enemy until it gets them or someone they do care about. So let it.

You didn't get my point. I am saying that there is a line and I prefer to draw it so that a woman doesn't feel severe pain after sex acts. Speculum insertation and tearing cunts and mouths open so far that they bleed is not sex in my opinion, it is RAPE and TORTURE! No woman would want the Max treatment. Also, when a woman tells me to stop and take the handcuffs off, I do it. You could see on Max's previews before he was shut down where women were begging for him to stop and he kept going. That is also RAPE! That is why I don't belong in prison (otherwise known as ass-fuck land) and Max does. Even kink.com has a rule that no bruising can take place on their talent. Also, at kink.com all the woman has to do is say "Red" or "Stop" and the scene is immediately stopped. "Yellow" means that the dom needs to let up for a bit. Max left bruises, torn cunts and had his victims choking on their own vomit from him forcing piss down their throats even after she said to stop and end the scene. Learn a bit about BDSM and you will understand that the submissive is the one in charge, he/she can stop the sex and related activities at any time -- unless your dom is Max Hardcore AKA Paul Little.

From the last article posted (AVN):
"Regardless of that, however, I'm already well ahead of schedule as I've been accepted into the residential drug and alcohol treatment program, which, when completed in several months, will gain me up to a year of time off. Barring my release upon appeal, that will put me back in business late next year. That's a long stretch for sure, but I'm already halfway done..." - from Max

I agree. However, the problem with letting them have their way is that we'll all have to deal with the consequences.
mharris, the problem with everything you wrote, aside from it all being unsubstantiated rumors, is that the women aren't the ones complaining, from what I can see. If they don't seem to have a problem with it, then why should anyone else?

Sigh, I've posted these links numerous times whenever Max as a subject matter pops up on this forum and someone claims that the abuse accusations are just 'rumours.'
[ invalid url ] are both on record as saying Max abused them, held them down against their will and did things that were not agreed to.
Of course, everytime this is pointed out the next move is to try and discredit or dismiss the stories of the performers. No doubt you'll claim that their stories are 'unsubstantiated,' how after all could they convince someone who doesn't want to be convinced?

You certainly have absolutely no grip on the facts, do you? The anti-sodomy ruling struck down by the Supreme Court was due to Justice Anthony Kennedy's vote, not O'Connor's.
And please tell me exactly how porn can be banned by the Supreme Court if there aren't any cases about obscenity/porn on the Supreme Court's docket. How exactly is that going to work?
As for Max Hardcore's vids being banned, that's not at all true. I can go to adultdvdempire or adult dvdmarketplace and max out my credit card on all the vile Max Hardscore vids I want or could ever possibly watch.

I didn't say O'Connor's vote determined the ruling, I said the balance of power was with O'Connor because she was the swing vote on the court, this was widely known (see the book The Nine if you want details), she had more influence over the court's rulings than the nominal (and conservative) head justice.
As others have already pointed out, just because a case isn't immediately in front of the court now doesn't mean there won't be one eventually. The Supreme Court is a long-term game, that's why the right-wing has been working for decades to swing the court to the right so they can reverse the liberal decisions made on porn, abortion rights, etc.
No one said Max's videos were banned, so I have no idea what you're talking about there.

I'm unclear on how the law in the US works here, but since Max was convicted I believe that any distributor or retailer would be taking a very big chance in carrying the specific titles that Max was put away for. That doesn't mean they can't carry other Max Hardcore titles though.

^I'm not an expert, but this is what I know:
Stanley v. Georgia established the right to own "obscene" materials personally. The outlawing of such was--in essence--deemed to be "thought control".
While this--I believe--has been since limited to actual ownership and not other activities--and a later exception for material involving under-age participants was allowed, of course--it is still largely intact.
I'm sure that there will always be challenges to it in terms of various laws and what not, but it makes the ownership of "obscene" materials involving adults in this country essentially safe...for now.

^It's also my understanding that distributing (vs. owning--totally different story) even the same Max material in the same area again would require another Miller test-based case for a conviction.

Funny how you also ignore the fact that there are no porn cases working their way through the court system now as that would and does destroy your entire argument.
QED.
As for Max's vids now being available for sale, according to this very site a bunch of them are, in every format imaginable.

What Blacksix pointed out is right on target and this little point you've made is utterly meaningless over the long haul.
I find it impossible to believe that any rational person would think that just because something isn't happening at this moment that it never will. This is the dumbest idea imaginable and is the embodiment of dangerous thinking.

I never liked Max Hardcore. Apart from being a really short, ugly dude, with a small cock, his films were very odd.
All that gagging was terrible, and dressing women up as schoolgirls was odd, too.
Definitely inciting child abuse, in my view.

Agree with last post, he is bad for industry but he shouldnt be in jail because of "obscenity".
And mariaxxx is complaining about his brutality (based on stories of others) while she accepted mandingos 12 inches..which I guess was not painful at all :hypocrite:
