However, I think a big part of that was that Mason wasn't involved in the editing process. After filming was completed, Mason ended up parting ways with Elegant and someone else took over. I recall Mason herself was distressed to hear about how the final product turned out. I feel confident that since Mason was involved in every part of the process with this one it will be a definite step up from the previous attempt. Edit: Found the post from Mason back in 2013 (has it been that long?) about the first Mia showcase from Elegant. My vague recollection was not completely accurate. Mason only took issue with the fact that some of her verbal directions to Mia during filming had been left in the final cut: Mason wrote: I really really enjoyed working with Mia for her movie. As always, she gives 100% in everything she does, and I had such a great time with her on set. She's a special one for sure. Gosh, I love this girl. Unfortunately, I did not edit this movie, nor did I have a chance to see a final edit. It's one of 2 movies (that I directed) I did not edit for Elegant Angel.
