You only need to look at social media followers or the fact that nobody who says vixen is talking about the site but anytime you hear people say blacked, it's because of the site.
@upsux, When you put it that way, you've got a point. Thanks for explaining. PS no worries. I know so little about the subject, I'm more than happy to read your thought process. It's not like you say "Lansky/Mia sux" and call it a day, lol.
@tux2, That's my thinking too. The woman has a life outside of porn or is looking at it as a side gig alongside a 'day job'.
Well, it would make a lot more sense if it was not just a lesbian vixen scene. She towers over alex grey, idk how it would work. Lansky really isn't into that sort of thing like brazzers. Let's cross our fingers for a blacked gangbang scene, that'd be a pleasant surprise. I'm guessing it comes out July 4th.

Get her a scene with Tori Black.Infact a new 3 part series with Tori Black where Tori teaches her stuff with a lesbian scene ,a MFF and perhaps them getting into a foursome or even with more men - an orgy if you will - would be so hot.Wish Lansky would do something like this.Would be a welcome change of pace from his regular stuff too.
Let's not forget Lansky is launching his own line of Calvin Klein, I mean, Vixen swimwear soon - all these recent posts look like excerpts for upcoming promo shots.
@SaikoDaiko, I would like that! Not much into the g/g scene but I'd definitely watch Mia break from the mold!
@upsux, good point. Aren't promo shots usually part of future scenes though or does he really plan on launching Vixen swimwear?

^ He's legit going to sell Vixen brand swimwear, there's a few shots of Caprice he took on his phone recently and it's all the same look and a brief plug about how it's coming soon (of course) with a limited amount available.
I guess good content is eluding his grasp so knockoff bikinis is the new path to glory.
I really am a big fan of Mia ... I do hower believe that Lansky delaying and delaying introducing new scenes is causing a loss of momentum for Mia . . Unless the next release is absolutely incredible, the ordeal, I fear will be anti-climatic ... which is unfortunate .. I believe there will be many here who may share at least a portion of this thought . Thx ...

she has no momentum cause she doesn't care to have any
from what I was told by a few people in the industry who work for Lansky she has made it crystal clear she only has interest in shooting for him and nobody else so there will never be momentum cause she won't put out a lot of scenes or work for various companies at this point in time
she is happy and content only shooting for lansky and letting him dictate when that content gets released, that's all there is to it
I believe Lansky runs the chance of, if he hasn't already, hurting his brand should this anticipated next release not be outstanding. I believe some fans are losing, or have already, lost interest. Just my thoughts ... thx as always for the opportunity to engage in the conversation.
^well said, i personally have lost interest cuz she's so unpredictable, she unfollowed a lot of industry ppl then she followed others, there's so much talk about her retirement but she didn't clarify anything.Sometimes i feel that she's interested but other times i feel she doesn't care at all,she has a youtube channel but she barely posts on it, honestly she is so weird and i hope she clarifies her situation ASAP cuz it's become kinda boring
I dont blame her . I simply challenge Lansky,s underestimation of those that view his sites being pissed off by his failure to release what those fans are hoping for
^i don't fully blame her too she can do whatever she wants, her exclusive contract ends soon and then we can find out if she'd take it to the next level or not.It will be a shame if she quiets but i won't be surprised due to her very weird attitude

I think his issues are with talent across the board, we've seen the massive decline scene quality. So he holds onto what people really want knowing that once it comes out a LOT of people are going to walk unless there is the tease of more scenes upcoming. I can't blame him entirely, if he did a month-long showcase of Mia and that was it... I don't imagine any of her fans would stick around to see the debut of random no-names like he's been doing lately.

I think what it boils down to is 2-fold with Lansky
1) he's gotten "too big to fail" if you will... he has never shown any desire to engage with fans and doesn't seem to care what they want... his sites are all popular and make him a ton of money so why waste time worrying about what the people think/want... until his business model/decisions begin to negatively impact his wallet this won't change
2) he views demand for a particular woman differently... other sites pump out as many scenes as possible over and over so fans keep buying up new content, but Lansky's thought is to slow-roll everything and build up a hunger in the fans to get the newest scene whenever it is released... one can argue it's a smart play... the sites that are constantly churning out content of each woman rely on the most hardcore fans always coming back because they're the ones who want to see anything and everything. By delaying content and spacing out releases, Lansky relies on ALL fans wanting the newest content of a woman they like but haven't seen for weeks if not months
More power to her. It's a certain way to make sure her porn life doesn't dictate or overrule her non-porn life. If she shoots only when she wants to and shoots the content she wants to shoot (or is perfectly fine with following Lansky's orders like you say), then she has time to do all the other things she wants to do. Didn't say something about veterinary school at some point? Well, becoming the neighborhood vet is going to be a lot easier if people don't know her as "the girl that likes it a certain way", down the road.

while I totally agree with most of what you said, the very last part I gotta disagree with... once a person shoots a pro porn scene... just one... it's going to have some kind of impact on a career in "real life"... in today's world, all it takes is 1 scene to be seen by 1 person in the area and that person blasts it all over the internet and that's it for her career as a vet and she hasn't only done 1, she's done several with apparently at least a few more on the way
I'm not saying it's going to be impossible for her to have a successful career outside of porn but I do think eventually -- and likely somtime soon -- she's probably got to make a choice and stick to it for good. Either professional career or full-time porn actress.
Maybe, but frankly I doubt it. She's done what? A handful of scenes (none groundbreaking), a few private videos and a some youtube clips that may be labeled 'hot girl' but are very tame. If she fully drops porn (or does something to alter her appearance a bit in her porn scenes), she'll be forgotten soon. There's so many new girls in porn all the time that are willing to promote themselves or do something extravagant to make their name last, that I can easily see Mia fading away with little tarnish to her overall image, despite her good looks.
She's no Mia Kalifa (I hope I spelled that right) that was/is so well known has little chance of a professional non porn work now. Even Lana, despite all the drama, has faded away from mainstream/easy-to-find-and-view porn. Do you really think that Mia cannot if she really wants to?
I have to wonder if the fact she has a twin sister who leads a non-porn life or that early 'real identity' blow out has influenced her reluctance to fully commit to porn. I admit, if I had a sibling that looks exactly like me and they were in a career where pretty much anyone could know what I look like intimately, it would probably cause friction in our lives and relationship. Not to mention what a leak of mine/their/our whole family's personal details would do.
All that aside, I do agree with your last sentence but I think she's going to try and dance on the line for as long as she either sells or wants to. Release a few scenes to keep her fans wanting more while she finishes her studies (or whatever else she does aside from porn) and tries to establish a career outside porn.
I hope she sticks around though. She has an interesting mix or vixen (no pun intended) and girl next door that appears natural.

you could be right on all that, I guess I just think the internet brings a different dimension to it all... before the internet, if a person did as few scenes as she did and one could only view them by purchasing a VHS at an adult store then I would be more tempted to agree... nothing ever goes away now, once it's on the internet it's on there and it spreads so easily and so quickly
I also think it depends where she lives/opens a business/works professionally... clearly there are parts of america much more tolerant of a professional sex worker/porn star than other places... that could factor in as well
EDIT: I tried finding an old article I had read years ago on Austin Kincaid (no luck, link I had led to a broken page since it was long ago)... anyway, it was an article discussing her attempt to have a professional career as a real-estate agent back in North Carolina (where she is from) after porn and that basically it didn't work out because not only would a lot of people not do business with her but then you had a lot of guys who would try living out their fantasy of arranging a meeting with her or going to view one of her listings and offering bribes/etc. (you know what I am saying)... and Austin was in the industry before social media even started
I was going to ask who Austin Kincaid is... But if she was long in the porn industry before choosing a different career, then that could be why she had trouble. In a way, internet can work against porn though. Sure, it has a long memory but it also provides an outlet for a lot of people to promote themselves. Much like with online stores or pirate sites providing access to music or movies or books allowing people to not pay for what they get and in turn view and forget it. I can't tell you the amount of times I've gotten free books off amazon only to realize I already own them or have read them before but forgotten because they weren't all that good or memorable.
I don't know, maybe you're right. I just think that Mia still retains that 'real person' attitude and personal look (no crazy piercings or tattoos or fake lips/breasts/butt yet), does realistic/tame scenes (aside from her Deeper scene, her other work is fairly everyday), hasn't done a mountain of work so even free well known sites like Pornhub only have, what, a page of results for her?, so if she does decide to quit, she will be forgotten eventually simply because she won't leave behind anything memorable.
WOW, I sound like I hate her. I really don't, in fact she's one of my favorite performers in the industry, currently. I'm just trying to keep a cool head about her possible future.
