I like sexually submissive women (not only them of course), in real life too. OTOH, I do NOT get off in seeing women in pain or suffering in any way. Not just morally, but aesthetically too: I find the facial expressions of affected distress in most BDSM porn simply ugly. I love seeing the female body restrained, stretched and sexually available, but I love it even more when there is a smile on the lady's face while she's having sex in this way. Happy looking women are hot women in my book (which should probably make me an exception in this forum, but still). I am also strongly turned off by the trappings of traditional BDSM. Dungeons look ugly, dark and dirty to me. I hate seeing the dirty mattresses and camp beds that Kink.com so often use. I also roll my eyes at the traditional BDSM dialectic ("Yes" - "Yes, WHAT?" - "Yes, Master"), and the frankly obsessive-compulsive approach to its equipment (toys, knots, handcuffs). Tie her down, yes. But what kind of rope? What kind of knots? What diameter the buttplug? Oh, brother... And I simply don't understand the appeal of latex, PVC etc. I love naked bodies. In a few words: I like tied and helpless(not gagged though) women in nice surroundings (outdoors or bedrooms preferably). I dislike pain, contorted faces, dungeons, etc. I like even the pretense that the woman likes what the man is doing to her, or at least that she's discovering something genuinely new and strange, and I like even an attempt at spontaneity. I've sampled many sites and DVDs, both European (where I'm based), and American. I've tried kink.com of course, but it very, VERY seldom works for me. There's too much traditional BDSM in their style. House of Taboo from DDF is better, but it's too stylised and I deeply dislike DDF's garish visual style. (I still go back to them however, particularly for their busty line - I just hope they improved). There was a Dutch company, Class Media, who made some stylised but interesting mild videos a few years back, but they seem to have focused on older-geezers-with-young-girls fetish these days. German porn has too much watersports (which I don't mind in moderation, as long as it's from people who clearly enjoy it and don't go overboard) and latex for my liking. Back in the day, the late Harry S. Morgan made some very hot videos with a submissive woman vibe, but did not emphasize the restraining. Anyway, you got an idea. I hate, hate, HATE, DESPISE and ABHOR the execrable Herve Bodilis. Almost as much as the indefensible Antonio Adamo and his idiotic B&W slo-mo interjections in his Private films of mid-decade, and not-quite-but-in-the-same-ballpark as my 90s bete noir, Michael Ninn. Bodilis is the reason that VMD went from my favourite porn company to something I never watch any more. Perhaps it's a matter of correlation rather than causation, but oh how I hate his work, let me count the ways: -The dark picture, with shadows obscuring the action -The stylised photgraphy -That lady doing the droning voiceover in inhuman monotone -The excessive makeup -The boobjobs (from the company that had the best natural talent in the 80s and 90s) -The cold and passionless action Shudder. With that said, I have seen the Initiation of Claire Castel, and indeed all of Claire's oevre, since she is so damn fine to look at (a non-boobjobbed VMD star for once). I hated the movie, but I liked Claire. To bring this back on-topic, the BDSM shown in this sort of movies is too mild. I like genuine tying up with sex, only without the dirty dungeons, runny mascara, obsessive-compulsive emphasis on the equipment, and Marxist Dialectic (aka "yes-yes what?-yes master") of Kink.com and the rest. As I mentioned, the closest to my tastes is DDF's House of Taboo (but I would have liked a nicer aesthetic than DDF's Angry Fruit Salad colour palette) and less so, 21Sextreme. Oh, and those Dutch blokes of Class Media. But even they are not quite what I like. I like real sex while the woman is tied up in nice surroundings and looks as if she's enjoying it. I like the shape of the stretched out (or bent over) female body, the defenseless availability, the trust and acceptance on her behalf. That's what I like, but sadly it's very rare.
