He may not but I will. I think it might be a good idea for agents/agencies to assume the responsibility of handling the social media of their models. At least in the beginning so that a new model doesn't have to deal with all the pressure that will be put on her from the various people who will have access to her various social media pages. I mean so many newbies are still in their teens or very young women and I doubt they have the fortitude to deal with the cesspool that is social media.

No I didn't say that! I said, (and I cut and paste it just to make sure I didn't inadvertently misquote myself): "Or, one could not look at social media all the time to worry about what others are saying about them."

why is it callous? I'm just commenting on all of the info presented here. A person such as myself who doesn't wear blinders all the time sees these issues:

1. This individual commented about unprofessional conduct on sets before.

2. They then do they same thing again, but this time a mini social media frenzy happens and stories that have been refuted by both another person in the same scene, (who this person didn't mention in the first place) and the legal post resolving a settlement.

3. In the same tweet, in addition to making the claim about being assaulted on set, the person also mentioned that they have medical issues but showed up on set anyway and the medical condition worsened

4. In the same tweet, they also mention that it just happened to be about the same time her parents also took them off the parent's insurance.

5. Now, she's hinting (on social media, I don't know, I didn't read it, so I'll take your word) that she might commit suicide.

While you want to be concerned about this individual, save her, and believe everything you read on social media, I say good for you, more power to you, and knock yourself out doing it.

But, me on the other hand, sees someone who IS bringing their situation on themselves and clearly is looking for attention and possibly some suckers to spoil her based on her hardships.

She hinted about sucide , maybe nothing serious but aftor a comment like that implying it's all her fault because she doesn't fit in porn is callous

Except that the point of performers getting on social media isn't just attempting to notify their fans of their current and future scenes, it's an attempt to gain more fans by showing a bit of themselves to the world and being personable/real. Which is totally screwed up by having the person behind the account not be the model in question. Not to mention that letting an agent control the social media accounts of a model can lead to the agents themselves saying things on behalf of the model that they would never say themselves (because not every agent in the industry is completely upstanding).

^Don't get me wrong. There are pitfalls in having someone else handle the models social media but I'm referring to a partnership where the model is aware of the things being done in her name but where she doesn't have to deal with the trolling that is bound to happen. She also doesn't to spend so much time posting various things when she could be doing other things. Ultimately no one knows who is really posting or replying to a models tweets and posts unless they are there when she does them.

Of course my suggestion is not something that should be done for every new model because I'm sure there are some that already have a certain social media following prior to joining the porn industry but in those cases the women probably already know how to handle the trolling. There are also some women that have thicker skins than others and the trolling simply rolls off their back.

^It's social media. It's not that big deal of a deal. These people are adults, and I believe in treating adults like adults. If they can't figure out something as simple as how to handle Twitter responsibly, then they're probably going to have a whole lot bigger problems in their lives than a social media account.

^Sorry but that reply makes me think that you are either trolling us or you don't understand what the problem is.

He's the defender of any alleged abuser , clearly it's not their fault, women are the problem since Adam and Eve , it's all up to them , they should know how to deal with cyberbully because he is what it is , not his fault, if they can't handle themselves on social media and wound up sucide, clearly it's their problem for being not adult enough to get through problems.
If a star is not supposed to get buttfucked or was supposed to and the talent doesn't give a fuck and do whatever he pleases, well it's their fault, they shouldn't have been there in the first place, if thei can't handle being in porn , it's their problem, the director isn't responsible of anything less of all the producer , the crew is supposed to be there to help those who pay them, directors and producers , certainly not testify against themso nothing on their part ,

No, I don't understand what the problem is. You're saying that Twitter is too difficult for adult women in porn to manage, so someone else should manage it for them. There are kids in high school who have Twitter accounts, so there should be no problem with an adult knowing how to responsibly use one.

Do you also agree that performers should give power of attorney to their agents, or allow their agents to manage their finances and other personal matters? What about all their other social media accounts, such as Facebook, SnapChat, Instagram, etc.? Should their agents manage those too? If so, then I might agree about Twitter being a problem. At least let's be consistent.

you do know that many countries have introduced a new crime in their criminal law about inducting people into suicide through social media?
The number of such victims is increasing all over the world kids and adults alike , it's not just harassing people or bullying people this is more
some even band together to make someone else's life miserable to an unbearable point.
Nobody knows what people is going through in their real life , nobody needs to add further fire to an already burnt mind

You would think that before you replied. You would actually try to find out why I wrote what I did instead of simply trying to justify a point of view without offering corroborating data. You can read the below link to see why I wrote what I did or keep pushing your narrative but I won't bother replying to future post if you don't offer data that supports your point of view. Just so you and I are on the same page. The vast majority of performers are probably under the age of 25 and while they are all of legal age. I don't know if I would describe them as being adults. At least not maturity wise. I also think that it's important to point out that women are likely to be greatly affected by any comments on their appearance be they positive or as is often the case negative while men aren't as much.

https://time.com/5550803/depression-suicide-rates-youth/

This is a tricky one for me because in a perfect world. I think many performers would be far better served if their agent/agency handled their finances because this way these people would have an actual nest egg of money for when they leave/retire instead of having a lot of things but very little actual money. Now the reality is that we don't live in a perfect world so how many agents can be trusted not to misuse the trust a performer puts into them. Sadly few of them.

Ok, how about this? The agent gives the girls an allowance every week so that they don't spend so much on frivolous stuff. This way they can save up some money for after their porn careers. I'm also thinking about a curfew of some kind. Will get back to you on that one.

Well yeah on the curfew! Not only that, a strict 10:00 PM bedtime during the week and 11:00 on weekends.

[Tweet is no longer available]

Is this true? Was he fired by Brazzers and has Autumn broken up with him?

^ I'm pretty sure that guy is an ex-member of ADT who was posting here every day for months a while back that Autumn and Markus had broken up, even though they were still posting about dating each other on social media, still shooting scenes together etc.

In fact just looking at Autumn's twitter now, she has posted pics with herself and Markus (and promoted his onlyfans) as recently as 6 days ago. [edit: I linked to the tweet but I don't think that's appropriate for this thread. You can find it yourself on Oct 23rd on her twitter]

But who knows. As they say, even a broken clock is right twice a day.

^^ Man I just look his twitter and this is some kind of bad harassment, every reply he's writing the same thing. What kind of obsessed person spends his free time just to answer absurd things, what will he gain from it? And why is he so concerned about Markus's personal life that he need to put other people in the middle of the conversation... Very bizarre

Sorry for deviating from the thread but well I was surprised by this stuff.
