Expression Encoder 4 is supposed to be the replacement to Media Encoder. I just started using it today with Windows 7 trying to encode several videos, including Brazzers, but I keep getting the "Error:corrupt file" after a few minutes into the encoding process. I disabled the option for audio encoding to see what would happen and the Encoder was able to complete the session without errors.
I can't figure out why this encoder will only work for me if I disable the audio option. I tried setting it to "source", same as the video setting, but that didn't work.
Anyone else have experience with this encoder?

When I started using Windows Media Encoder, to re-encode Brazzers videos, so I could watch them on my WDTV media player, I was getting a similar error. I began making a habit of running all Brazzers files through ASFbin before re-encoding them and I never had a problem after that. When I started using Expression Encoder 3 with Vista, instead of Windows Media Encoder, I continued this practice nad haven't had a problem with it either.
You can get ASFbin [ invalid url ]. You most likely will want to download the AsfBin window GUI version 1.5.0. It takes less than a minute to convert an HD video from .wmv to .asf (while correcting any problems) with ASFbin. With Brazzers scenes, I use the ASFbin as my opportunity to rename the downloaded files to the actual name of the scene. Typically, I accumulate files and then re-encode a bunch of Brazzers files using Expression Encoder overnight.
Because of limitations with the WDTV unit, I change the audio codec from WMA Professional to WMA and because I'm just running the audio through TV speakers and don' need it to be high quality, I reduce the audio bitrate to 64kbps.

^ Yeah thanks Bill, I've been using ASFbin but didn't think about using it with Expression Encoder. The encoding process is error free now after running it. Unfortunately Expresion Encoder takes just as long as WME.

Yes. But you can add a whole bunch of files to encode and walk away. With WME, you have to do them one at a time.
It's great to be able to start it before going to bed and come home from work the next day to find them all complete. I couldn't do that with WME.
WME also has a 720p limit. Although I do download most Brazzers clips at 720p, there are some that I want to download at 1080p. It's nice to be able to do that, now that I'm using Expression Encoder.
