That makes sense, because I'd think that publication is the key event in terms of obscenity. If that's the case it feels weird that Kara would be more susceptible to legal action than Nacho...
I don't think it's completely fair to compare the Nacho/Kara Price scene directly with the more controversial Kink.com scenes. Every Kink.com scene includes an extensive pre scene and post scene interview which makes clear that all activities that took place in the scene are fully consensual. Every Kink.com scene must be in accordance with the Kink.com shooting rules. These are established rules that protect the models for abuse. Following is an excerpt of the Kink.com shooting rules. 1.I can stop any scene at any time by using the house safeword "RED". 2.I will be given (and should demand) a recognizable safeword in the event that I am gagged or otherwise unable to say "RED". This can be a verbal "Uh-Uh" or a non-verbal signal such as a hand signal. 3.Upon use of my safeword, I am entitled to ask for the scene to completely end or for the shoot to completely end. Only if I explicitly consent, can the scene continue at a slower pace.
When Nacho is choking her until her face is red and she says stop and he keeps going, or when he punches her in the face and she screams and cries and he does it 6 more times. What does that have to do with women attitudes on sex in the new era? The idea that Kara Price may have wanted to shoot a really rough scene seems plausible, but everyone has limits and Nacho pushed beyond hers clearly which is wrong. When hes choking her and she said stop... THAT'S IT! YOU STOP!
"Her and Nacho both get to use the scene for their websites. i talked to her on the phone for over an hour the night before and she gave me a "SAFE WORD" that she would used if she wanted me to stop" do you know what that means? Edited by - leatherface on 6/11/2013 10:50:49 AM

Yeah, but seemingly, the discussion here has moved on, and it's no longer a consent issue but an "obscenity" issue. Therefore, regardless of whether someone has consented, some of the intense acts of Kink are potential fair game if they were concerned about getting the wrong sort of attention. But as I said before, it's all subjective and calculated risks. People know what they're doing and if someone subjectively yells "OBSCENE!", just be prepared to defend yourself. That's all I was getting at before, then I got into this weird to-and-fro with KillBill in regards to what is 'safe'. Safest thing: Don't make or watch porn EVER. The government(s) then won't be able to say anything, your IP history is clean, and you'll be safe and bored forevermore.
I honestly can't believe that after all of these posts (especially Chris Stream's explanation) that you would still say that. Let me explain this concept. The whole point of a safe word in porn, or even in real life BDSM, is so you can say things like "stop" and have the action continue. If you want it to actually stop, you don't say "stop," you say the safe word. The point is that she could have stopped it if she wanted to and she did not, at least not during the moments you are referencing. That's why I say that women's attitudes have changed. Assuming the role of a rape victim is obviously a pivotal part of her fantasy, and while this phenomenon may be an innate feeling in many women, historically it has been much too taboo for a woman to ask for this, both in real life or in a porn scene. However, due to the relatively recent explosion of readily accessible online porn, more and more (but of course, not all) women today feel comfortable not only admitting to these kinds of feelings, but acting on them as well. They are pursuing pleasure without regard for traditional societal opinions. Their sexuality is evolving and this is just one example. With regard to legality, thank you to those who corrected me regarding the obscenity laws. I didn't follow the Max Hardcore case, but wow, what an awful precedent that sets. It seems extremely un-American in my eyes. Not to say that he didn't have it coming, considering his antics and the amount of self-righteous conservative assholes in our justice system, but with so much open to subjectivity and interpretation, where will it end?
While there might be a safe word or hand signals involved surely its the responsibility of the dominant partner in rough sexual/ BDSM role play to be aware and show care to their partner. When the submissive partner is too overwhelmed for whatever reason to use the safe word or the hand signals involved. Edited by - Kezza on 6/11/2013 7:34:47 PM
I'm sure she was 100% ok with it. If she wasn't the scene would have been stopped or not released. Just give it a rest op, if you don't like don't watch it. But you did flip through the whole scene huh. If a chicks cool with the abuse/brutality then who cares "I think you better check out TheDude because he is going to started an IR fight" - InFamous

Since I haven't had a lot of time to watch much porn lately, I was not aware of this scene before reading about it here. But since I don't like to commment on scenes that I haven't actually seen, I went ahead and watched this scene before responding to this thread. From what I saw, it is my opinion that the OP greatly exaggerates how extreme the scene really is. Before watching it, I was expecting it to be a lot harder than what I saw. The OP would be better sticking to the softcore stuff if seeing a little roughness bothers him to this extent. I also cannot believe that this is a forum where everyone here is presumably an adult, and still the director had to actually come to explain to everyone that what he shot was consensual and fictional. What are we? 5 year-olds? The director shouldn't even have to be bothered to give this type of explanation because everyone should already know it. We don't expect these types of explanations from mainstream directors. So why should porn directors have to give them? If you cannot tell the difference between reality and fiction, then you should definitely take time to learn. I get so irritated everytime I see a thread like this where people feel the need to whine over something in porn going "too far." Too far according to whom? To you? If you feel that way, then the solution is simple. Don't watch it. Most porn that is produced today is more boring to watch than watching paint dry. It's mostly all the same. Then, as soon as somebody does something that's has more edge to it than what we normally see in 99.9% of porn scenes, here come all the puritan handwringers popping out of the woodwork to complain that their delicate sensibilities have been offended. So what! I like extreme scenes, and would like to see more such scenes being made. If Nacho is the only guy left in porn who isn't afraid to do it, then I say please put him in more scenes.
^^Earlier I linked to OP's previous posts where it's clear he's into this kind of thing and fantasizes about it sometimes being "real". Oh brother.... One of the first things i say in my original post is that my tastes go more to the extreme. I have no issue here saying that. However No one here attacking me seems to mention that. And to link to my earlier posts means nothing. I do like rough porn so what? I'm sure there are many pornstars that don't mind getting a little smack in the face once and a while during a scene - but that doesn't mean they want to be punched in face - does that make them hypocrites? In my other post that you mention I was talking about a scene with Tony T and Isabelle Ice. If you are even remotely comparing these two scenes you're crazy! Tony pushed Isabel Ice to her limits and she was still laughing about it in the end. There was not one time where she ever said NO, STOP, or Your hurting me! There was one part at the end of this scene that was not cool when Tony T smacked her in the ear at the end. Chico Wang was responsible enough to yell at Tony and tell him to get off the fucking set. So calling me out on liking extreme rough porn does not make what Nacho did okay. I couldn't possibly believe that when Kara Price is getting choked out until her face is red or getting punched in her head repeatedly that she's actually going to think of her safe word... she's going to give a natural human response... to say STOP! It's like telling a woman that if she's ever being raped to yell fire. There is no way any woman in that type of situation would remember to do something so rational in that exact moment and no.. I am not saying Nacho was raping Kara Price so fuck off with those comments before you even start.
Nacho has been in the business long enough to know how a female performer is going to act on camera when hes crossing the line, they may be scared or afraid they won't get paid or that they will be bad mouthed through out the industry or to their agent and it appears to me that he takes advantage of this at times. If Kara Price was fine with everything that happened in that scene then she is as much to blame for making her successors have to deal with Nacho asking for more of this shit. And if she didn't approve of all of this - How the hell could Kara say her safe word when Nacho has a shit stained piece of toilet paper shoved in her mouth the whole time or her head is under water...? And if she was enjoying this so much then how come I never at the times when he was abusing her and he did finally did stop... hear her say "i didn't say my safe word, keep going" or something to that extent. Can we be honest here.... I like rough sex and calling out this scene does not make me a hypocrite. All I'm saying is that Nacho went too far. We are now approaching an era where guys like him and Rocco will have been doing this for almost 20 years.... Think about that for a second.../ Having sex with as many women as you want in any way you want for almost 20 years? You don't think someone like Nacho may have a bit of a complex? Or maybe even by accident take things too far even once? And I don't feel Christopher Streams had her best interest at heart. What if Nacho killed her by accident? Would we be all sitting here saying it was fine... she paid him to make the scene for her, she should have known the risks? I almost feel there are a lot of men on this forum that hate women (just like all the racists) and are mad because my attack on Nacho they feel is an attack on them personally because they secretly want to do to women Nacho did to Kara. And I understand even If I think it's wrong. I would love nothing more then to fuck Bobbi Starr in the bottom as hard as I could for a very long time... but I have no desire to punch her in the face... why? Because that's taking to too far! If you watch that scene and your dick is remotely hard in the first 20 mins where hes just smacking her around and drowning her in a tub... you don't like porn... you like watching women be abused. And where are all the female performers that frequent this forum? If Nacho was punching you in the face and you said stop and he didn't, would you be okay with that because you didn't say your safe word?
^^Thanks for clearing that up Prigger, and I agree with some of points in your post. This scene is not rough sex is about IMO, other might disagree with me here. It would be very hard to get the safe word out if your head is put in a plastic bag or dunked in water for a period of time. Also the lack of oxygen to the brain could also cause confusion and they don't remember to say the word.

You know what would have been awesome? If that chick turned the tables on tuff guy nacho and punched him back or scratched his eyes.
Maybe, I can't remember why... I thought it was because he accidentally shipped a pissing video to somewhere he wasn't supposed to. But like KillBill said, it is desirable that law be based in formal logic, but it doesn't have to be. Even though I thought that being able to determine the legality of an act before performing the act went all the way back to the Greeks, apparently not.
That's the part I don't get... if you can't definitively say "My website will not get me put in jail" why would he not go become an accountant or something? Why take the risk, as if the money he's making will keep him out of jail?

^Um... er... I'm not quite sure I get what you're asking, but if you want me to attempt to clarify further, it's that sites like Kink are deliberately edgy - I've seen piss fly on people, public fucking (obviously, PublicDisgace), and other whatnots and doodahs. Point being, a site such as this must know they tread a fine line... if John Stagliano can be brought to trial for stuff which I'd consider lesser in strength, then it brings the edgier stuff into question. But, it's popular, and obviously fairly lucrative in today's porn climate. Maybe if faced with the prospect of trial, they think "We'll cross that bridge when we come to it... besides, we've got a good defence team, we can make a stand, get our name out there, and we're making money in the meantime." Possibly...
You are 100% right. There are woman in this world who are addicted to the adrenaline rush, and a man that can reliably "play" them is a great thing. By this I mean a man who can "edge" her close to saying the SafeWord without her ever having to say it, thus preserving the illusion that she truly is powerless; once the SafeWord is ever actually used, the illusion/fear/adrenaline rush can't be re-created because now she knows that she's never really in danger. So a SafeWord must also be protected from mere chance, too... it's got to be so improbable that it won't be said by accident in the context. "Mushroom" is not a good because it may seem improbable, but maybe she did some before the session. I've also used a SafeWord in the positive sense where if I'm doing something right, or she likes where I'm going, or she wants something stepped up a notch, she'll say not a word, but a certain concept. I've been told that having to say a word reeks of deus ex machina and ruins it, but having her say something general like "You must like spanking my ass because of <some psycological issue with my mother>" allows her to control events without reeking of controlling events. And similarly, one thing that I tried a long time ago with someone else, thinking it would work and be fun but it didn't really work, is having a "Dead-man switch" in which I stop by default *unless* she says the SafeWord. There are a few people where their talent/dedication at being a dom is immediately recognizable. Sandra Romain comes to mind. Damn, that woman "gets it".
I would like to add to my previous post regarding the Kink shooting rules that the rules for the director are even more strict. Edgy scenes at Kink.com take place in a controled environment. I wonder how controled the environment was in the case of the Kara Price/Nacho scene. Following some excerpts of the Kink shooting rules for the director. Models must fill out paperwork stating their limits for every shoot, or do a verbal limits check prior to shooting If a shoot involves BDSM, safe words must be established and confirmed by the model in the interview. A non-verbal safe word must be established if they will be gagged or otherwise unable to speak during the shoot. If an abduction scene is planned, it must be established that the abduction is completely consensual and simulated. Follow the model's limits. It is prohibited to try to convince the model to change these limits during a scene. If the scene is very intense, the model must be reminded that they can safeword at any time. If the model safewords, the scene must stop immediately. If the model is bound, ask if they need to be released. The scene may continue at a less intense pace ONLY if the model explicitly agrees.

I am so glad that some of the people in this thread aren't the ones making porn. It would be even more boring than it is already, if that's possible.
^ Have you read what Chris Streams, who was behind the camera, posted in this thread? After reading some of the comments in this thread i swear that some people must be being intentionally stupid.I sure hope they are. Edited by - simpsona on 6/13/2013 3:57:29 PM

Several times over, I think. There's still a lot of interesting things to discuss about this scene, though. Has anyone determined what the relevant obscenity criteria are?
Don't like it? Don't watch it. The system is so retarded. If a prosecutor convinces a 12 people jury that consensual porn/film is "obscene" (how in fuck's name is that a legal term?) you go to jail? Morons.

It's not that you like the rough stuff, it's that it's obvious you want to believe some of the rough stuff you see in porn is real abuse/assault, and then you act on that fantasy, in this case by accusing someone. I linked to just a couple of your recent posts as an example, one where John Stagliano felt the need to defend himself by pointing out that what you see in his movies isn't real, that porn is acted(it's ridiculous that this needs to be said on a porn discussion board). Another in a rough sex thread where you're singling out what you believe is a "real" case of another male pornstar abusing a female pornstar, the implication being that it's hotter for it. I'm not judging what it is you find hot or not, if you like rough sex and fantasizing that the roughness/abuse you see in a scene went an extra-mile beyond what was scripted/agreed to makes it hotter for you then all the more power to you. It's when you assume that what you fantasize about is true and attack someone for it that I have a problem with. I'm not saying that there aren't porn videos with real cases of abuse, and from what little I've read of Nacho he's no angel, but given how you even seem to be unaware of non-verbal safe-words or would expect such a scene to have the actress saying something like "I'm ok, I didn't say my safeword!" I daresay you wouldn't be able to tell the difference and thus should never act on it. ________________________________________________ Please ID these girls from PlayboyTV's Foursome show Edited by - hoochimama on 6/14/2013 4:20:35 PM
Most of the above posts are about those who create this kind of footage. Surely what is actually way more worrying are those who get off over watching it?? Assuming its all consentual, stuff like this is made because it sells. Its a business like any other that some may consider overly enduring - industries that spring to mind are fishing, mining etc. My point is there are trades that some people do, that others would find far too gruelling. This side of things, i understand fine. Then there is the viewer - the person who sits there, beating off, over some women getting, im told, punched in the head. And the focus of discussion here seems to be on the performers???
Yeah .. and all those viewers who watch squirtporn, diaperporn, armpitlickingporn, droolporn, scat and pee-porn and last but not least porn in cellars with people who beat eachother with all kinds of stuff... Thats worrying too Edited by - tintintin on 6/15/2013 7:10:40 AM

I bet you OP jerked off a thousand times to the scene...but he's in here, ranting about Nacho. Kara Price might have wanted to get beaten up and tortured, anyone ever though of that? Maybe she's into that Guantanamo treatment... But hey, guess it's just easier to blame one person for another personal sexual proclivities.
I cant imagine what you people would say if girl/woman into blood and edge play releases a scene. Simply, if Kara ASKED TO SHOOT IT she's obviously into the lifestyle and wants to be manhandled in the way Nacho treated her. What is there to understand. There are people out there who are into this type of play and there is absolutely nothing wrong with it. The uproar is absurd. ----Dread----
Sadly, i have no doubt that there exists snuff footage, where the subject desired the end result. I would also find someone beating off over that of significant concern also. Reading between the lines, i guess your post is giving the same old rhetoric about people having different subjective opinions as to what either they consider, or what could possibly be considered, acceptable. At the end, of course, it just comes down to a majority vote - same as absolutely everything else in society. The vast bulk of people would, im sure, find it a little unusual for someone to enjoy "diaperporn", however, i doubt that many would have a problem with it.
I have and it is disturbing but it's still a lot less disturbing than the Nacho and Kara scene because everything that happens in Irreversible is fake while everything that Nacho and Kara did was real. I can assure you that everyone would have been talking about the Monica Bellucci anal rape scene if she had actually been anally penetrated and it's also quite possible that her career would be very different than it is.
The Kara/Nacho scene is as "real" as you make it. It's a scenario, the two of them are acting/role-playing, it's just that the physical parts of it are real. It's not rape because she was completely willing, had the ability to stop, and specifically chose not to. We don't say boxing or MMA shouldn't exist because people are actually getting hurt and not acting, and I just don't get people saying that this is something that shouldn't exist because they can't understand that some people would actually be willing (and want to) put themselves in this situation.

Not to mention the gender bias at work. Femdom cock&ball torture videos are so common, yet you never hear these guys cry out against the chicks who make ballbusting videos where they get running starts before kicking dudes in the nuts, lash them and punch them until they bleed, or pierce their ballsacks with sharp objects. ________________________________________________ Please ID these girls from PlayboyTV's Foursome show
You should know that lot of people could ask the same question for those who are turned on by anal. The fact is, even if I personally I'm not turned on by a knife or everything involving blood I'm still applying my tastes (even more than my morality) and so I can't judge it. So the only problem is if the scene is consensual or not. And by the way, has Nacho used his knife or he was just playing a role?
