Hustler is making a whole bunch of parodies now. I just heard they are making "This Ain't Glee XXX"
Personally, I think that's a great idea and I hope they do a good job at it.
Here is Andy San Dimas as Rachel Berry. I couldn't find any other cast info.

I hate porn parodies. Really? Then stop watching them.
I appreciate what sawyer2007 wrote a few posts ago and I have heard that sort of comment from others over the past few years. If our parody movies let you feel more comfortable viewing them in mixed company then that is a good thing. I am really glad to hear when people really enjoy them. Thank you.
If you like MASH we are shooting Not MASH XXX next week and if the growing stockpile of 1950's era military gear in our office is any indication of how good it will be, I think we have a really good movie on the way. We are building all the sets from scratch as we speak. It was one of my favorite shows so I am really looking forward to shooting this one.

This seems like a good place to remind everyone that , although this thread was started by a detractor of parodies, his opinion was so quickly overwhelmed by fans of the genre that the thread has become a place to appreciate and discuss the very thing it APPEARS to protest against.
This thread should be renamed "Please DON'T Stop the Porn Parody".

Parodies I think are just a resurgence of features, but with more time devoted to the sex. A hybrid of features and gonzo minimalism. Ultimately the marketplace will be the judge.

I'll agree with that. I think there has always been a market for that kind of porn. The industry just went away from them.

My review for BIG BANG THEORY should be up in a few days. It's got some bang for your buck but not much else.
Parodying a show in part about two guys that never get laid is a tricky thing that's handled here in an incredibly inept way. The nearly three hour length of this "comedy" parody is not exactly sitting well with me, even the "party" version on the second disc is nearly 2 hours long.

^ The 30 minute plus sex scenes cause the mind to drift (or the fast forward button to get a good work out) which kills the flow of such parodies.

I'd also say that show is as much a situational comedy than anything else. Sex vs. story has always been a tricky thing IMO when it comes to feature films, and even more so parodies. I mean stretching a 30 minute show to a near 3 hours parody probably isn't ideal, especially is said parody isn't that funny or entertaining between the sex scenes. I think someone may want to think about breaking them down into shorter individual episodes, like the originals are and were always intended.

Do these parodies even sell well? I assume they are pretty costly to make. We're always hearing about how work is hard to come by in porn right now, compared to before. All this time on parodies when they'd be better off booking girls for gonzo scenes.
The only one that looked decent was The Big Lebowski. I saw the trailer and it was pretty entertaining.

Given how many are constantly being made now, I'd guess they generally sell well. Plus I'm guessing they are ripe for the cable market also. Gonzo has it's limits, plus they tend to all basically look alike, which is probably why these films especially seem to have taken off. I really didn't know so many had been made or are being made. Almost looks like they are trying to parody ever tv or feature film ever made. Yeah I can now admit it's overkill.

I agree, even with a grilfriend, one must carefully choose pron to make the right introduction. Also, several times, I have been in an adult store with atypical customers coming in specificly looking for porn parodies.

The PG rated trailer for Not M*A*S*H XXX looks fantastic.
For every 10 bad parodies you get some absolute gems, like Batman, Reno 911 and Big Bang Theory.

Has the Lord of The Rings been done yet? I would prefer the original female cast: Liv Tyler, Miranda Otto and Cate Blanchett in particular. Hey, one can dream...

I haven't even bothered watching even a second of them parodies. But I'm sure there's an audience for them or else they wouldn't bother spending the time and money making them.

I saw "Lady of the Rings". It's from Private. You can look it up on IMDB. there is even a sequel. I saw the first one and I was very disappointed, especially considering the great cast list and the high number of scenes. First of all, many of the scenes were pretty short. Also most of the sex scene were split up, halfway thru the editor would switch to another couple. I thought that had gone out of style in the 80s. I guess it's like the director saying I know this isn't very interesting so you won't want to watch the whole scene at once. Or maybe he just thinks it's titillating. I don't know but I don't like it. There are a number of poor decisions made in this movie, not the least of which is the beautiful Gina B made up to look like a hag.

I have no interest in exploring this genre. I guess it appeals to some folks out there....not sure who though? Couples perhaps? Is the sex actually hardcore or more couples focussed?

As someone who very much enjoyed pre-gonzo porn of the 1970's and 1980's, I do not mind the parody parade. Some of the parodies are first rate and very much enjoyable. Others suck and are not worth the cost of the raw material of the jewel box that houses the DVD.
In the golden era of porn, there were basically three types of porn - 1) interpretations of TV shows, movies, etc., 2) original features and 3) compilations or loops. Lord knows gonzo was a real boom to the industry, but porn is rooted in parodies. It is history. And let's face it, everything is cyclical. Plus, there is more than enough gonzo out there for those who loathe parodies or features or anything that requires acting.

"Jersey Shore XXX: A Black Parody" is the type of porn parody which is superior to just copying a show or movie and adding sex. It offers an interesting, alternate, more erotic variation of the rediculous spectacle that is the "Jersey Shore" show. With Imani Rose and Cassidy Clay, "Jersey Shore XXX: A Black Parody" is a bigger turn on and superior to the straight parody "Official Jersey Shore Parody".

I have a video in my queue called "C.S.I. - Cum Swappers Incorporated." That is an effective use of parody title. As I look now at the screenshots, maybe it's too much parody and not enough porn.

Bigfoot has brought up something the oiginal poster, and so many others to this thread, apparently were not aware--porn parodies are NOT new, they've been going on since the 1970's, and will doubtless continue.
What IS relatively new to porn is GONZO, the film genre which has been one of the ways a great many adult film operations have been able to keep "their heads above water" in these "george w bush/LUSH's idiocy-induced hard economic times."
A porn company can make and distribute nearly FIVE Gonzo films at the cost of a single feature film, for one simple reason--overhead costs are much, much less.
In the BG era, practically every adult movie script, and thus, film produced, was some parody on an existing Hollywood movie or television program--and thus, sexy cigarette smoking women were seen in about half of all porn films--a fact which "hooked" so many men into the inherent sexuality of that "bad girl' imagery, personified by a lit cigarette dangling from a beautiful, shapely "steam stream" stars luscious lips.
AG, however, two things dramatically changed, the entertainment level of ALL adult films--especially within the feature genre-- dropped dramatically, as like some giant parasite, much-cheaper Gonzo, sucked the creative energy out of producers, writers and directors, leaving adult performers with inferior vehicles and much less monetary compensation.
The second shift, and this is something I NEVER understood, since Gonzo's greatly reduced scripted dialogue would be IDEAL for implementation of this huge, and ever-growing film fetish,is that adult videos, incorporating sexy cigarette smoking female scenarios, plummeted from almost 50% to less than 5% in a little over one year's time--where it has hovered for decades???? DAMNIT!!
When one thinks about it, Gonzo was indeed, "swallowing up" the adult market, with at least 9 out of every 10 films produced being of that genre, until the porn parody, vignette films, and the MILF craze began to "fight back," so to speak, to end Gonzo's gluttony.
BUTTT! when one thinks about it farther, has the adult film industry contributed anything really "new" to movie-making, other than the wide-spread appeal of explicit sex scenes, which main-stream Hollywood has never been able to implement?
The answer is obviously, NO! the MILF theme, or older woman/younger man seduction scenario, has been going on in Hollywood films since the 1940's--although in the main stream version, that sexy predator, in seducing her younger, more naive prey, ALWAYS has a looong cigarette dangling between her lush, moist lips-- in porn, its a lollipop!
As for as parodies, AGAIN, nothing that main-stream Hollywood hasn't done for decades, although they called them "sequels."
So, in conclusion, when you get right down to it, the adult film industry, NOT main-stream Hollywood, is the "copy cat," and NOTHING, is really different between the two genres, with the exception of explicit sexual scenarios, almost NO sexy cigarette smoking women seen, and thanx to Gonzo, a whole lot less financial backing from producers and thus, less creative energy from directors.
If there has been ONE bastion against Gonzo over the years, imho, it has been owner Steve Orenstein (I think, thats his name) and Brad Armstrong, the Director/EVERYTHING over at Wicked Pictures.
Despite confronting a dwindling economic market, these two men, and so many other fine directors, writers and performers at Wicked, headed by Jessica Drake and Stormy Daniels, have continued to produce, imho, the MOST ENTERTAINING and INNOVATIVE feature films in the industry, even though (on the negative side, for me and lots of other men) the company is CONDUMB only, and despite the fact that so many of Wicked's feature movie scripts are set up to easily introduce sexy female cigarette smoking character roles, NADA, in over 95% of Wicked's productions---#########multiple curse words of frustration, on behalf of more men than you adult film producers and directors out there could ever imagine!

I am not a L&O fan but due to the fact that there are some cable channels that run it day and night I have been overly-exposed to it.
However, I do like the "understated" good looks of many of the L&O women.
I don't think I've noticed romantic undertones in any of the epidsodes' plots, but I suppose it wouldn't be hard to figure some out.
I've always enjoyed the ADTers suggestions for look-a-like porn stars to go with various porn parody suggestions. But my last two suggestion threads sort of died on the vine (see Lost and Veronica Mars). But if anyone else wants to start a L&O XXX cast suggestions thread I promise to contribute.

I agree with the thread starter. Not because I don't like the movies. I generally watch flicks for a specific girl. There's about 8-10 girls that I will watch everything that they're in whether it's parody or not.
The problem that I have found is that my local video stores stock very few parody flicks anymore. When I asked why they told me people are so sick of them due to the sheer volume of awful crap that has been released nobody rents them anymore so they tell their distributors not to send them.
Parody fatigue.
Porn found something interesting and beat people to death over the head with it so nobody wants it anymore...which is nothing new.

I don't think porn parodies are a bad thing but of the few I've seen I don't think much of them for several reasons. I would probably love porn parodies if the execution of them were a bit better. Some of the problems I tend to have with the ones I've seen are...
The sex scenes are usually very vanilla and typical of the type of feature movies I tend not to like. I don't expect parodies to feature EVIL ANGEL type sex scenes but I wish they'd turn the performances up a few notches.
The sex doesn't actually fit into the movie because the plot/story usually has nothing sexual going on and the performers don't stay in character during the sex scenes. With the trouble of trying to make the chatacters look right and act like the people they're playing you'd figure they'd try and stay in character during the sex or simply to try something different but they don't
It seems like with the parodies usually star the same male and female performers that I'm usually indifferent about seeing. They'll have bit parts by performers I'd like to see but I figure the performances they put on won't be worth getting the parody just to see a watered down perforance by them.
Like most feature films the parodies stories/writing isn't strong or interesting enough to make me want to get into the story and I just end up fastforwarding to the sex scenes.
Many of the parodies are of tv shows I don't have much interest in seeing or shows I've never watched before. That's fine and understandable but the other things I mention stop me from taking a chance on them.
I know not all parodies are the same and some of them might not do the things I mention but I'm going by what I've seen and previews. I don't think they need to go away and if they're doing well I'm glad to hear that. But for me in their presnt state I don't have much interest....That said, I'm curious to see the SUPERMAN one VIVID and would like to see what they do with a WONDER WOMAN one.

Ripping off every pop culture icon to avoid having to do any kind of real writing or having to even think too hard at what they are doing has sadly become the staple of an industry that's just plain gotten lazy.
It's sad, really. Like people who think they can play guitar because they've mastered "Rock Band".
Sorry fella's, but you can't call yourself a 'writer' if you didn't actually create any part of it.

^ It's the audience's fault, not the porn biz or the porn biz writers. There's been plenty of original writing go on in porn for far more years than the latest parody boom has been around and the audience didn't respond to it like they have with the parodies. If the audience has spoken with their dollars what they want, why not give it to them?

How about a Police Academy porn parody with the focus on anal and more anal..call it Prolapse Academy..
Lex Steele as Hightower
Manual Ferrara as Mahoney
Anyone know any tiny female porn stars to play the little female Cop
My fave character from Police Academy was the dude that used to get the mic and do the imitation voice overs..he would be good doing the sex noises during a scene.

I haven't entered a video store in weeks or maybe months. The idiocy of parody titles does not matter to me anymore, since I rarely see any when I search for porn to rent. Producers are welcome to make all the parody they can sell before the whole porn industry collapses.
