I have commissioned possibly the best writer out there to come up with a seriously great script. As soon as I can I will announce it. I was seriously looking forward to making a Sons of Anarchy parody, still might do it, after hearing another company did it, but wrote it as a comedy. I was extremely disappointed. It is anything but a comedy. Plus it needed to be done correctly with the storyline and plenty of bikes, hot chicks and club life. I think if you are going to do it half ass, don't do it. [Link] |

People like Axel Braun and Jeff take a lot of pride in what they are making, and it shows. Batman was done well to the last detail. The upcoming Justice League was a labor of love, all the costumes hand made, they spent a lot of time on special effects, chose the cast very carefully, and it shows. To make something that you claim has no integrity, call it offical, and slof it off like hey man , it's porn, it can suck and we get away with it, really sucks. Just my opinion. I am sure you will try to back peddle on this one, but jeez, to state there is no integrity and we make something half assed because it sells, wow. I talked to one actor who was on the set of SOA and he told me it was a joke. That could have been such a great parody. I actually thought it could have been one that would have sold 10k units. Now what will happen is that people will distrust your product, you sell 1/10 of what you could have, and ruin a killer concept for a great movie. Shameful. Great box/bad movie. Parodies have been around for a long, long, time. In the early 1980s adult companies would take any movie and name it something slightly different, i.e B.J. and the Bare, which had nothing to do with the movie. In the last 4 years or so the parody has become much more refined. Companies are actually shooting a movie that has something to do with the title. The Cosbys, Seinfeld, Batman etc. You are missing the point entirely. Again, I take exception with the fact your company called something "Offical". It is misleading. You said there is no integrity in making parodies, and I disagree, if they are done correctly there is plenty of integrity. The influx of companies in the last 10 years is overwhelming, people who just want to make a quick buck. It has hurt the industry. If you have a camera and can get a girl to have sex, you're in business. Well it's not that easy. Your company makes fine films, your comments should support that imo. They do not seem to do that.
