On Austin O'Riley, a number of porn people have said that she was just picking up a check, and had no intention to stick around or go really far in the porn world. I have heard producers, directors and other porn girls describe her as at times; lazy, unreliable, and sometimes disagreeable. She did have a good look, and I enjoyed many of her performances, but I think she had another agenda. As for Georgia Peach, I LOVED her and have about a million of her scenes. She is one of my all time favorites. I love short, stumpy, phat-assed girls. Additionally, Georgia's freak factor was very high. So I thought she was great. And I think she had a solid porn career, and hopefully made herself some money. BUT, I think she got about as far as she was gonna get in porn. She just didn't have the "look" to be a consistent, top of the cast, front box cover, porn star, and no amount of effort from her was gonna change that. Plus, throughout her career Georgia struggled with weight fluctuations and despite all my love, I'm sure that limited her marketablility and appeal. She was great to fill out a cast, and she always gave good performances, but I don't think she was ever gonna be a top of the line "A" list porn girl. Other than that, I think she "made" it. Courtney has 38 titles on IAFD which is quite small for a girl who started in 2007. Stefani was with Vivid and has even less titles than Courtney. Porn certainly didn't enable Holmes financially as he stopped getting work because of his drug habit impeding his ability to perform. Holmes obviously had a very dark side before entering porn, he was in a very abusive relationship with an underage girl that he made sure to keep away from those in the porn industry. From what that women has written it seems that Holmes kept himself aloof from his fellow performers and didn't mix with them socially, while abusing this girl and drugs. His only really close 'friend' seems to have been the director Bob Chinn, who stopped working with him because of his drug habit. So I'm unclear how the industry can be held responsible for his horrible behaviour. Not sure about porn allowing Mitchell to support her habit either, from what I've read she wasn't performing much by the time the drugs kicked in big-time, she was really making her money dancing by then.
