There isn't more to it than that. He paid more. Agents (back in my day it was really only World Modeling - but I'll assume it didn't change much when other agents came into the business) would tell a new girl that they should do their first scene with him because he paid more - but only for first scenes, then make the call and tell Ed there was a new girl in the office and book her.

Peoples Temple wrote:
doesn't it seem a bit strange that she puts down doing porn but seems okay escorting?
Very, very strange, you think she would at least say she is still escorting. Probably would be good for her biz! I actually think being a Pornstar and doing xxx scenes is probably alot more acceptable / respectable to most people in 20111, then escorting! Escorting is much more dangerous and illegal! With respect to "porn puts your image out there to the public" isn't really that big of a deal. Most pornstar's move on to escorting, very few escorts move into becoming a Pornstar! Teri Weigel whose main profession now is escorting and has been providing for over 13 years, even allows filming! If you look hard enough on the internet you can even find video's of Pornstar escorts servicing regular guys! So being an escort doesn't really prevent your public image not making it out there!
I don't think they're actually available or on sale unless the one with them decides to share them he pays for his own movie with a pornstar maybe to give evidence to friends but surely won't like to be exposed on a DVD

In this forum here we have the chance to talk to Mrs. Kassin and she shares some of her private life with us. We shouldn´t take this for granted and we should be more polite and less insulting to her. I cant´t comprehend why e.g. some people accuse her of hypocrisy even though they´re not even thoroughly informed which subjects she studies. I hope this is not out of malevolence because maybe someday she might be fed up with explaining herself and her career decisions every few days. Aside from what she does or does not to finance her studies, she´s not the first and won´t be the last to do this by escorting or some other "unconventional" ways. By the way even if she would become a rabbi, pastor or something like that shouldn´t affect anybody because religion is about forgiveness (if there is something to forgive at all). I was friends with a dentist who financed the equipment for her studies and her cost of living during her studies by escorting, now she´s not different to her colleagues, maybe even better. So congratulations to Katja for being a good student and thanks for a small behind the scenes view on her private life and dear fellow members please be more amicable in your comments. Thanks, peace and regards WC
^ I think that thing should be deeply discussed separately , I agree with you but after an absence I realized this forum is now full of mean people unable to understand they're relating with real people out , I read many people here giving unwanted counseling to performers based on childish assumptions or judging them knowing a fuck of nothing and even saying them under the lines how shit they are actually. Even those with a friendly attitude are escaping from here and this is no surprise What the hell is going on here?
Well when your wife , companion, or brother recognize you fro a tattoo it'll be not that cool especially when this is put in the attention of your superior at work nobody has the right to put my shit on the internet without my permission not even removing my face which is ridiculous given the use of very personal tattoos Edited by - Laurie Cameron Fan on 7/23/2011 9:04:24 AM
Oh my gosh there's so many meanies on here. Relax, I think for the most part people are pretty respectful, it's the Internet, of course people are gonna say rude shit they wouldn't say in person. If someone wants to quit posting over something a 15 year old kid might have typed so be it.
Actually, maybe not. If they do their first scene with someone like Ed, they aren't going to have any illusions about porn being a bed of roses. Then they can make a (somewhat) informed decision right then and there. It's better for everyone if she's one and done if she's going to flip out the first time she fucks somebody who creeps her out. It's bound to happen sooner or later. Maybe it's better if it happens first?
Man I subscribed here back in 2005 I know how it works , however the added valor of this forum are the stars , if someone even if it is only one is making them escape , the whole forum will drop its valor , what would you do if you were administrating a store or an hotel and some of the clerks or even only one keep insulting and mistreating the customers? Would you intervene or ould you wait to see your store and your cash empty? You may say but the stars aren't the customers, true but we all are here for them , I was one of the first years ago (time fly fast) to question the use of words like "slut" or "bitch" while talking about or talking to stars no girl not even the sluttiest (said as an hyperbole not referred to anybody) would like to be called as such. In a joke it might be ok but in the long distance that would make them uneasy they will find this an unfriendly environment if not hostile, nobody likes to be viewed as an object or worse as a living hole. It is no surprise that many stars now prefer to relate with fans through MySpace or Twitter that way they could deal directly with their fans only and also kick out those mean plus they could delete the whole thing when they're done with the industry , also what they say in there won't last forever as it does in a forum like ADT. If something is pushing out the stars and the moderatos do nothing to prevent this , then this place is doomed its only a matter of time. try this put yourself in Katia's place and reread what has written here as referred to you personally , you still would think nothing happened? I tried a couple times to redirect this thread into more proper ways to deal with people we aren't close to but I failed. Edited by - Laurie Cameron Fan on 7/24/2011 10:37:08 AM

You might want to read the forum etiquette here, the whole point is to not say what you wouldn't say to someone's face in real life. If someone doesn't like the rules here there are lots of other forums where they can rub cocks with fellow trolls.
^ Agreed. All of the regulars here try to keel a certain level of civility. Even if we don't always quite get along. And one of the primary rules is not to intentionally harass performers who post here.
^^I didn't harass anyone (at least I didn't think I did) just sayin it's the Internet and no matter what people are gonna write rude shit. My bad for all the harassment, I don't mean it, I swear I don't mean it. No but seriously I hear ya, I'm not really contributing to this thread so I'll leave, I can take a hint (now I see what you meen by mean people haha).

I am amazed by the twists and turns of Ron Jeremy's life. What would his life had been, if he had remained a teacher for special needs children, and married his steady girlfriend? His sense of humor has taken him a very long way in life. He maybe an old, hairy man, but he still cracks me up with his humor.

If you haven't viewed it yet, it is worth seeing the documentary on Ron Jeremy. A lot of people go into fields where they think they can find work, not necessarily what they prefer to do. The late Jamie Gillis also has an interesting background. He was a cab driver in NYC and a Colombia University graduate before he entered the adult industry.

^ I did. I liked it. That's where I found out about his job as a special needs teacher, and his girlfriend.
Regarding Katja, it would be nice if people would treat her with respect and withhold judging her. She could have stopped posting here, if she wanted to. I hope she can complete her college courses and graduate, with honors.

I've been viewing this guy for decades as he is so prolific and never heard of anything negative about him. He did not keep himself in shape and was proud of it while having a lot of body hair, so what. Does that really matter? I'm a guy anyway, not a girl and am not attracted to a guy. With all the vile people in this world this is the last guy to criticize, he is a good human being. Frankly, I can't stand most male porn stars, this is one guy who did not irritate me and seeing him repeatedly over the years did not bother me. He is one of the nicer people you could ever know.

You're talking about him like you actually know him personally, which is a little bizarre. I didn't mention what he looks like or how he performs on camera, many performers and directors (eg. Jerry Butler, Shaun Costello) have told disturbing stories about his behaviour, anyone who is interested can check them out and decide for themselves. Edited by - BlackSix on 8/2/2011 5:14:01 AM

I just read a long article on it from 2003 and believe none of it. Ginger Lynn made the accusation of rape yet performs with him the following day. And how do you sexually harrass a stripper? He spent time in jail for that. A nice way to make money off of extortion. I suppose the language he used toward the stripper was harsh but come on. Edited by - peoples temple on 8/2/2011 6:58:53 PM

I didn't mention Ginger Lynn, Butler and Costello both have very distasteful stories about him and little reason to make them up. You can find Butler's story in his bio Raw Talent and Shaun Costello's comments are available via a quick google. Although since you obviously have a case of serious hero worship I doubt anything anyone says will change your mind. Others can look into it and make up their own minds for themselves.
Wasn't Butler's gripe that Ron peed on him in the shower while filming in Hawaii. I take anything Butler says with a healthy grain of salt. He was always overrated and a legend in his own mind. His book was pure schmaltz

No, it was much more serious. Butler's story is reinforced by Shaun Costello's comments and some others as well. I think his book is hilarious, very much captures who he was in real life if you've ever seen any of his interviews on TV. I will never forgive him for calling the ultra-delicious and curvy Taija Rae fat though.

Please, come down south Katja Kassin next time you have a [ invalid url ] Glad your still at it!
Is there some special reason why nobody has posted a link to these Ron Jeremy stories? Not all porn fans have shelves full of porn memoirs. Link or it didn't happen.

You already tried to derail this thread by posting a link like this a couple pages back. It contributed nothing to the discussion then, and even less now. Find another forum for your stupid antics.
No special reason on my part, other than having linked it twice on this forum already. This long article is packed with info, though you have to find the original sources for yourself. I remember Shaun Costello [ invalid url ] that Ron J purposefully hurt his female co-stars: "Ron Jeremy (Ronnie Hyatt) was just ridiculous. As I mentioned, I used him because he had a big dick, it was always hard, and he showed up. But the girls hated working with him. He was always making eye contact with the crew while he was doing a sex scene, as though he was doing it for them. Like "Hey fellas, watch me fuck the shit out of this bitch". He had a big dick and he enjoyed hurting girls with it. He would hurt them intentionally, and after a while no one wanted to work with him. He would also never stop talking......a very strange guy." I get the impression from previous comments in this thread that Costello has said other things -- perhaps they can weigh in. I haven't read Jerry Butler's memoir, so I'll leave that side of things to those who have. He is cited in the long article linked above -- his comment denies one rape allegation (Ginger Lynn), but makes allusions to others having happened.
I doubt the factory workers who made my Nike's in Vietnam, Ipad in China, or even my good old Made in the USA Toyota sing 'whistle while you work' (or whatever the Chinese and Vietnamese versions are) on their way to work every morning, but I'll still gladly use all of those products. :)

Ha! And a good point...it's really about the fantasy. Granted I'm not a big fan of hurting or humiliation or watching people do something they HATE but the majority of the scenes look great in the "normal" porn. The girls that hate it typically didn't show it in their scenes and I'm sure there are a lot of mainstream actors and actresses who may feel the same way. Often you don't get to work with who you want to work with, the director could be a prick or you're just having a bad day so you don't enjoy it. It also could be that those girls didn't like that they did porn for a living so it was more of an emotional thing. Who knows. But as stated above, I don't think it stops me from watching it. However I have to say I'm generally drawn to those that seem to and have stated they love it... Kristina Rose comes to mind. Sexual dynamo. GGG Models archive at Pornstarchive - Work in progress!
^ There's a big difference between a woman/man who treats her sex work job like a job (it pays the bills) and a woman/man who actually *hates* making their scenes. The idea that these performers are making these scenes out of sheer sexual desire is a bit unreasonable -- there's nothing necessarily wrong with doing a job partially or even predominantly for the money. Happens all the time in every kind of occupation.
I once read that Annie Sprinkle did make two scene that made her reconsider her whole involvement in porn. The first was the rape scene in Zebedy Colt's " Devil Inside Her " where she gets raped and urinated on. The second was a scene were Alan "Spike" Adrian pisses in his own mouth. I think this was in " Kneel Before Me ". God bless the old Avon heydays on 42nd Street.

^ Annie's story about the scene in The Devil Inside Her is very interesting. Here's what she says on her website about it: In a satanic ritual, I get brutally gang-banged by four big, rough guys. At that time I was very turned on by rape fantasies (which was America's number-two most popular fantasy). After acting a rape out to the max, and being truly scared, I never got excited by rape fantasies again. It's one of those I-can't-believe-I-did-that movies. I find it rather upsetting to watch, but my modern primitive friends love it. There was a second scene that did make her take a break later, but I'm not sure it's the scene you refer to.
Actually I'm pretty sure he didn't. It's been 15 years since I read it but he basically said that it was like there were two Taijas, one the yummy doughnut-like plump and cute Taija of her first 2 years and then the ultra-thin, blonded and frankly hard-faced Taija of the latter period. It's probably the one thing in the whole book that I agreed with. I always hated Jerry Butler as a performer, with his sweaty pudgy frame and his cokehead banter. The book only confirmed that he was an idiot IRL as well. He took particular delight in ruining the image of some prime 80s hotties like Lois Ayres and Kandi Barbour by claiming they smelled. Even if this were true: (1) it's not "nice" to say for a co-worker; (2) as a porn watcher I consume the visual illusion of the girl, and I don't give a toss whether "reality" is less attractive. A waste of space, Jerry Butler. His scenes would be an automatic "do not watch" for me, but he was in way too many Stacey Donovan and Taija Rae scenes to just throw them away because of his ugly, sweaty presence. Imp.
^ I would agree completely for some movies (probably a lot after a certain point in time), but there are a significant few in which I thought Butler was pretty incredible.

Well, that's what you get when you read a BTS look at the porn industry. Don't they tell you what to expect on the cover? Would you feel as sympathatic about image ruining if your favorite star said some guy had "Cheesy Balls?"
The reasons I read the book have nothing to do with the fact the Butler is still an idiot with no manners. There are many people who write their career memoires; criticising your ex-workers if they haven't done anything actively against you is just low class. We've all worked with people who were lazy, unintelligent, or even had bad personal hygiene habits. What's the point in telling the world once you've quit? Imp.
