Right, I know how to do links to pics that're already on the Net, but is there a way to post JPEG pictures that are saved on my hard drive onto the forums?

No, they must reside on a server somewhere on the web.

I've debated on adding this tpye of feature to the forum. I know that a lot of forum software packatges will allow a user to upload pictures to embed in posts and/or have as attachments for posts. Any forums that I've visited that have this type of feature tend to be littered with extranoues images. It's the kind of thing that's too easy to abuse.

Thanks for the link. It's been many a time that I've wanted to know about a pic that I have on my hard drive, but couldn't find a way to post it in order to find out about it. Would that site work with any forum, not just the AdultDVDTalk forum?

Drew,

With regard to ADT hosting pics...

If you could have it so that a link to the pic (NOT the pic itself!) would appear in the thread, I think that would be great!
I don't like having pics cluttering up threads. And, for those still on dial-up, it would seriously adversely affect their Forum experience.

Finally, wouldn't this bring us right back to the 2257 concerns about record keeping due to revisions of statues, interpretation and predilection of the current Administration to litigate "morality"?

Those image hosting websites are the way to go, no need to max out ADT's bandwidth with a bunch of pictrues that can be hosted elsewhere. And for BigBob, I'm pretty sure all pics on ADT have to be linked anyways. But,HTML is super easy to get the hang of if you just poke around a little.

Mojo,

They can be linked to any site or board... McX
