Seems Private is running out of Stars lately?

What will be next? A 1 hour 15 minutes Private Life of Laura Lion?

Makes me sorta sad to see the most recent developments at Private. I hope they will come back to former glory soon.

I suppose it also depends if you count all 4 scenes from Faust separately or not as to whether there are 7 scenes or 8 before you take into account the new scene.

I've never been too sure what to make about Mia's scene in Castings X27. She seems genuinely very shy about her body in the interview phase, much, much more so most of the other girls in this series, and claims to be a virgin - was that for real, or is she really that good an actress?

I too have just got my hands on a copy of The Private Story of Mia Stone, although since I already had the original individual DVDs I perhaps was not too surprised!

I was more interested in Mia's interview - and yes, also the new POV scene! Mia comes across as highly intelligent and articulate, and I couldn't help feeling that this was an opportunity missed by the interviewer.

Surely it would have been worth exploring a bit more deeply her casting session with Woodman? I still find it difficult
to believe that such an apparently naive and self-conscious girl as Mia appears in Castings X27, even to the extent of claiming to be a virgin, can then suddenly turn her hand to anal and double penetrations, in Superfuckers #9 and Exotic Illusions #2. Maybe I've been conned, but it would have been interesting to know more ...

Again, why didn't Mia shoot any more movies for Private after Faust in August 2001? Surely there must have been a reason?

To my mind, Mia's career in porn has not been typical - after 2001, much of her output was largely for obscure labels, and generally often predictable - no anal, dps or 3somes, just boy/girl scenes. It would have been interesting to find out why.

There were several times during the interview that Mia seemed to suggest that she didn't really like her career in porn that much, but, again, this wasn't really followed up.

Do pornstars ever really tell the truth in these type of interviews? I wish I knew ...

But Toni, one thing to remember is that I have somewhat unusual taste, at least for active posters on ADT. So what I like/dislike isn't necessarily what the majority of folks who buy/rent your movies want. I have a feeling that the increase in DPs and similar acts that became part of your movies with the switch to RLD made you more popular with consumers. However, my own view is that I want less DP in your work. My friend is trying to introduce his girlfriend to porn, and wanted something with strong sex, but not a lot of stuff that would turn her off. I loaned him my copy of Exxxplosion, and she really enjoyed it. I'd love to see more scenes like those.
