Why not include an extra scene from another movie in all your DVDs? Also why not rerelease in 4 hour compilation DVDs the very early "vignette" material from Private such as "Private Stories" or "Private Video Magazines" that were out on VHS tape many years ago? It was originally released on VHS and the scenes are not that good. I think one or two scenes have been shortened because I have seen most of the series on VHS. Video Magazine #1 is out already on DVD, but it's the sanitised US version. The original PAL VHS version had fisting scenes in it which had to be cut out. [Link] |
| PrivateDVD Member 57 Posts 3/01 | Posted - Mar 29 2001 : 5:47AM Let's answer some questions: I posted a message (which I am sure you read) explaining that the multiangle icon can be hidden by setting the subtitle to "off" from the remote of your DVD player. Sylvia Saint will be treated as she deserves as one of the best Private stars ever. So, you can expect a Private title on her later this year. In the meanwhile you can enjoy her in some titles appearing the next months in DVD (like the Gaia series...). As for the fans of the early vignette series (Private Video Magazine, Private Stories and Triple X Video) I can promise good news for the 2nd half of this year. But if you can't wait, check the 2-videos-on-1-disc compilations recently released (Absolute Private, XXX Video, Big Pack or Do It). Any idea on how to improve our DVDs will be welcomed. Also interested to know if all of the original Pirate Series will be brought out on dvd in the near-term, I see some are released at the moment. I have some feedback for you regarding the XXX series, please NUMBER them clearly, there are obvious numbers all over the covers, unfortunately they're "9 girls" and making of amanda's diary 3 & 4" and so forth. In my experience a lot of retailers have no idea what's gooing on with these titles, and it's very confusing.. I've ordered one of them and gotten a different one in the series in the past. I realise my complaining about this is unlikely to do anything, but I really think the whole series could do with having the covers redesigned with obvious numbers on them. that's about it for now.. cheers, scipio [Link] |
| PrivateDVD Member 57 Posts 3/01 | Posted - Apr 10 2001 : 7:30AM There have been some questions posted lately so here I go: - Matador titles will be released from number 3 and on beginning in May at one title per month... so we will finish 2001 at about Matador 10. - As you can see in the cast profiles we put in all our DVDs, Lea de Mae appears in Dangerous Things 1 & 2, Private XXX 8, The Bride Wore Black and The Academy... I think it is a good set of titles to enjoy her. - Amanda's Diary 4 and 5 are about to be released in the US and have already been out in other countries for some weeks. Both titles come with an Easter Egg that should make you enjoy those titles even more... Stay tuned for a future contest to be announced soon!! -Pirate series titles are being released so you can find by now 4 titles available (Hells Belles -Silvia Saint + Laura Angel-, Deviation, No Mercy and Rich Bitch) and the rest will come in the second half of the year. - From XXX 7 and on , the number of the title is printed in the bottom of the cover in small (but readable) characters.
