Given the timeline of coronavirus, and Remy's comments, I strongly doubt she shot a scene in October. Starting with Adriano lets her return during the pandemic with someone that she is extremely comfortable with from the past, someone she knows uses the same crew consistently, etc. And it doesn't really tie her into anything that she won't want or that will keep her from doing other scenes when she's ready.
