As someone mentioned, Layla London announced her retirement and pulled down her twitter account. It's too bad. Her own thread on ADT has been lighting up all year. Earlier in the year, someone mentioned that she walked out of a shoot because the male performer made her feel uncomfortable. I won't repeat his name particularly because he tried to make amends on twitter. I wonder if this was a contributing factor to her retirement. Sometimes even I think the male performer in a scene is behaving like an obnoxious frat guy. Layla was working a lot. Based on her looks and popularity, she was probably being paid the top scale. I would think she could have started to select her co-stars. The top girls are lucky to enough to be selective (i.e. Dani Daniels).
Alice March is done. as of a couple days ago. very very sudden decision. she went from posting nudes to posting about her retirement in the space of 24 hours. her alicemarchx twitter is still up. i know she shot some scenes that are still to be released. but she has deleted all porn stuff from her instagram. her post about quitting on another post she replied to a comment with this: "I'm just Done with that stuff, I posted a photo explaining, you can stay for memes or selfies but nothing more"
well we can only guess. but it might have something to do with Alice's boyfriend, Justin Hunt, who is also a performer. they had a fetish relationship where she would call him Daddy and he would order her around and take her to Disneyland. she was basically keeping up a porn persona off camera and this went on for a long time, more than a year. you know how they say porn girls have Daddy issues? well Alice was blatant about hers. she still loves all that little girl stuff. she dresses up like a kitty cat. she is crazy about Disney. even now, her most recent instagram post is her wearing the costume of a Disney character she got into porn at 18. now she is 22 but she is still a young person. maybe she is only realizing now the impact of porn on her life. she has said in interviews that she was not sexual when she was in high school and porn was her way of making up for it. maybe she has had enough of being so sexual and she wants something more in her life. the future can be a scary thing for porn girls.
lol at being "terrified" that hot pornstars are quitting. come on. are you serious? this is the porn cycle. hot girls come, hot girls go. the majority of them leave the business with no ceremony or announcement. they just go. done with it. that is what happens most of the time. remember Naomi Russell? probably not. Keri Sable? Staci Silverstone? she was four or five years ago. you could fill phone books with the names of girls who got into porn, made a big splash, then suddenly disappeared from the industry. so? someone fresh always comes along. always. look, in most societies of the world, having sex on camera is not an acceptable, regular thing. these girls who do porn, most have them have not thought it through. most of them have not considered how it will affect the rest of their lives. the stigma, shame, and alienation the real world will put upon them. the friction they will experience trying to be regular people. it takes a certain toughness, a certain mentality to just fucking own it. like Nina Hartley or Joanna Angel or Stoya. there is nothing innocent about it, they declare themselves hyper sexual creatures who make their living in pornography. they understand this makes them freaks in the eyes of the mainstream. now i will admit, Kimmy Granger was one of the ones who seemed to me like she had given all this some thought. she seemed like she knew what she was getting into. she had a sense of professionalism, business, intelligence, self confidence. she even had a supportive parent. i could picture her making money in the business for years like Jenna Haze or Lexi Belle. but it was not to be. that's just the way it goes.

No sign of that yet from her on her own twitter account as far as I can tell...
very common for performers to quit with no comment about it. very common for them to leave their twitter accounts up after they quit, with no mention of them quitting. reason being twitter is used to promote past scenes and scenes that haven't been released yet. for example, Staci Silverstone's twitter account is still up, even though there has been no real activity on it for more than two years. you should take the word of the agency that Kimmy Granger has quit. Society 15 had to contact the companies that had booked her for work. that is how abrupt and final her decision was. the agency even tells everyone to respect her decision and not contact her. she's gone.
This is not a good thing.Fans should know when a girl is quiting not have them in the dark. They support her all this time and now is like don't care about them? Its so wrong if you ask me.And I don't speak only for Kimmy I speak in general Edited by - epistimonas on 10/17/2016 1:05:11 PM
I don't understand. You want performers to share all their feelings with you? And you expect them to keep you in the loop whenever they make a major decision in life, or whenever something happens that could negatively affect their work in the industry? That sounds a little selfish.

^ Did you read what i wrote or not?Because I didn't say that.I just said they sould announce their retirement NOT the reasons they quit the biz.Just like Mischa Brooks did a few years ago.Because if her agency did not said it we never knew that Kimmy has retired Edited by - epistimonas on 10/17/2016 1:44:35 PM
A pornstar can choose to retire for a lot of reasons. If a pornstar suddenly retires and her agency is forced to cancel bookings that have already been scheduled, the reason for her retirement must be major. In a situation like that, I wouldn't expect her to tweet that she is retiring. If a pornstar chooses to retire suddenly, in a lot of cases, something major has happened, and there are other things on her mind that take priority over fans wondering why she isn't on camera anymore. So while it would be nice if a pornstar announced her retirement, in some cases making announcements is the last thing on her mind.www.dickdrainers.com

I'm not a fan of Kimmy Granger, but I'm shocked she retired. She seemed popular among porn fans. Starlets have been retiring left and right lately and each one for different reasons I'm sure. My favorite is Ashley Adams and she's been in the business for almost two years, which makes her a veteran. Most girls probably are out in less than six months, for a variety of reasons. It's probably overwhelming for some of them.

Since Fredgee got banned, can I be the one to say that the reason all of these performers are retiring is racism, and lament how the entire industry is already dead?
wooow at the sense of entitlement in epistimonas posts. do you really feel Kimmy Granger or any other performer owes you something? she doesn't have to tell you anything. gimme a break again, i don't see how any of these retirements is different from business as usual in the porn industry. porn girls stop performing and disappear all the time. it doesn't matter because there are always new ones signing up. this is the pattern, it has been going on for at least 40 years, ever since pornstars became a thing. mark my words, Megan Rain will quit next. have you seen her Legal Porno scene where she is obviously bleeding from the ass? she is going to burn out from all these vicious poundings. i see another Amee Donovan situation in her. anyone remember Amee Donovan? cute and bodacious little redhead from 2002-2003? jumped right into the hard anal/DP circus scenes? got fucked so hard she had to quit and get medical treatment for her torn anus? now she is just another name from porn past. mostly forgotten. this industry uses up girls. that is the truth of it. they call it the flesh business for a reason. it is about putting fuckable meat on camera. who knows, maybe Kimmy Granger had an epiphany Edited by - lobster lobster on 10/22/2016 3:37:07 AM

Yeah, I agree that for someone who has decided to leave the industry behind, it is often pretty low on their list to announce it to their fans. If they still cared that much about porn and it's fans, they might not be leaving in the first place. It's a little ironic, but that is the reason this important decision usually doesn't get announced.

Believe you me. (It's a French expression) Enjoy the "character" and don't dwell on anything beyond that. Just like picking out a cut of meat in the meat department at the supermarket, you really don't want to see the actual process on how a juicy steak comes to be. Edited by - rosco fuji on 10/17/2016 10:42:43 PM
nope. they don't owe you. You give porn producers money for porn. That's it. That is all that is owed to you. You don't own these women and they don't owe you anything.
^ If fans don't exist porn will not exist so don't tell me craps.Think a little.Thats why they tell us to pay for our porn to continue exist. These girls exist because of us.To leave in that way seem to meaning we are nothing for them either fans or anything. They just exploit us then.Sorry but I feel exactly in that way when they leave with no word Edited by - epistimonas on 10/18/2016 4:54:34 AM
^ Saw her tweet. Also saw the comment from Karmen Karma. What I understood that it has something to do with a contract form which she couldn't get out. Damn.

How do you feel exploited? You buy a product, you use the product, the company provides you with more product to buy. Talk with some of the girls out of character and you'll find you really aren't even on their radar.
I still think why you see so many attractive girls seem to come and go at such a quick pace is $$$$$. They can have all sorts of reasons for leaving, but if the money was better they would think twice and thrice about leaving so soon. In response to the idea they owe fans something, how many of those fans aren't paying anything to watch these girls. When they put themselves out there and they see how little they're making (and most likely they will make less and less as their novelty wears off), they might say it's not worth pursuing a longer porn career. Even if you buy into the fantasy that the women like fucking a lot of different guys, they probably aren't necessarily into fucking some guy of someone else's choosing on command, in front of a camera and for a large internet audience. If they truly desire sex with many partners, most of these women can easily walk into a club and go home with a guy of their choosing. I don't know much about the "sugar daddy" phenomenon and it's prevalence. It wouldn't take much money for many porn girls to do better with a sugar daddy. Long story short, I think $$$$$ is always part of the equation.

$$ is only part of the reason. One girl quit because and I quote, "I quit because I realized that I was taking money to fuck some guy who I wouldn't want to fuck for free" For the most part, performers are only stars in the eyes of the fans. On set, they are little more than a piece of meat who will sell a few more dvd's. Once that realization sets in, you start to have issues and those issues lead to leaving.
You might be right Roscoe, but actually we will never really know if more $$$ would matter. I can't tell you how many times we've had a good employee quit with usual reasons like: I want to spend time with my family, I don't enjoy what I'm doing, etc. etc. After offering them more money, they stay. Of course, it's not a long term solution, but it keeps them around longer.

Damn shame Monique Symone retired. She's all sorts of curvy and fine.
Dude, seriously?! Pornstars exploit US? I've never heard that one before. That's a unique perspective to say the least.

I don't recall at this point. Unless a girl is in my top rotation due to a killer scene or two, they are just faces to me I don't remember their names, if I even bothered to learn their name in the first place. Edited by - rosco fuji on 10/18/2016 8:09:04 PM
And if you didn't like greasy food, quick food, McDonalds wouldn't exist. That doesn't mean Sally at the corner McDonalds owes you something just because you buy a 99 cent burger every other week. You are paying for a product. That is the porn. the girls themselves owe you zero. They are humans, in case you didn't know.
