i just saw that thread but i had it loaded up on img/ur all ready so just went with what I know. Thanks for the info. i know it's not a huge deal but you I really appreciate the heads up. If you've been here a bit you know as well as I. Common courtesy is DEAD that I know that for sure. I answer these guys ques and either they mad because they porn hero is retired or they argue I'm wrong .Some scenes come out years after retirement or they are doing cam work . Sasha Grey hasn't shot a scene in 5 years but she still sells her merchandise. 90% of the girls don't own those website.That why they remain up and running. When they walk they leave with what they came in with .Only differance is usually they need more suitcases to carry the thousands and thousands of dollars of clothes they wil never wear again. They build towards having a website. If by chance it was her site she would continue to sell her brand. She can still not shoot scenes and continue to make money off the old ones. None of the scenes that the girls have shot belong to them. NONE. They get paid when their scene was done . Some of the fetish and much smaller companies will trade content. Do a scene together and each have equal rights .One will usually do more on the business end and they will work out a percentage accordingly. There are sites that still have scenes from The Milton Twins for sale. They have no rights to that material. That's why building a successful brand is so important . Work hard while building a solid brand. Save every dime so you can afford to NOT to have to shoot insane amounts of content. Find your own talent to shoot with and get it online asap Using your established brand to sell the the new content you shot .Now the money coming in is nearly all urs. Far from the the 20-25% you're used to making. You do that and from what I've heard/seen you're considered a success as well you should be. The status of "Active" on FreeOnes is - and this comes from the people running that mad house - determined by whether or not the performer's page keeps getting links submitted to the content gallery listing on the page. If a performer is marked "Retired" by admins and gets links, they get turned back to Active, and it's an automatic process, so nobody controls it and they don't go back to change it after it happens. Usually what happens is that some link bot scum - and there are a ton of those on FreeOnes - keeps putting the same galleries that have already been submitted - and FreeOnes has no measures in place to prevent this - into the submission form and it gets flagged as "new content". Hi everyone, this isn't a thread I'm involved in (and no I'm not retiring lol) but I did want to correct some wrong info. The content on most girls *official* web sites and clipsforsale IS OWNED by the girls. At least 50% (because the other performers need the right of distribution too) of the free rights but the girl always, always has the right to do whatever they please to make money on what is considered website content forever (in this case you're talking about Peta who was in the same network I still am, so I promise I know :)) If its on my site, I have the contractual rights to put it there. I don't get paid in cash for website shoots, no one has to my knowledge unless they are a male performer who only wanted to bang that day and didn't care about getting the content after. lol I've had an official pay site for over 4 years and I own and can distribute every scene thats on my site anywhere at any time. Websites tend to stay up and running after girls retire because that/those site(s) continue to make EVERYBODY money long after anyone's retired. Scenes that were shot for other sites/companies (say, Brazzers) a girl can't distribute or make a back end the long haul, but their personal websites, clip stores and merch (Fleshlight/Doc Johnspon etc) can make a girl money *forever*; and actually folks tend to make MORE on their website AFTER they retire. (So yes, she and others can and will make money from their old work/merch in the right places) Girls like Christy Mack are a prime example.
