I don't know if DP trailers focus on guys in hopes of attracting the "couples" market. But if they are wondering what will get a woman to pick up some porn, they need look no further than the cover of Cosmo.  As you can see, it doesn't picture some guys who think they can pay the rent on their fancy mansion by placing ads for massage therapy on Craigslist. As sexy as the photo is, Cosmo is not Playboy-- women really do get Cosmo for the articles. These promise to clue women in to the mysteries of the male libido. I doubt you can penetrate the couples market by showing male skin. I think the key is providing couples a way to explore their sexuality together, and to promise women that while their guys may fantasize about porn stars, she can learn the 75 secret tricks to make him always come home to her. He seems to be developing a highly efficient and controllable content delivery system using the internet that will allow him and his company to become the "Walmart of Porn". The era of features or even long gonzo films is dying. The next generation of porn lovers will get it online. A lot of them will pirate it. Or will only be willing to pay a fairly low price for a scene or scenes they want. The industry to stay alive is forming into bigger and bigger units capable of profiting on smaller and smaller margins. This will push out contract porn stars. I believe the peak of that era started with Jenna and ended with Jesse Jane. Now it is hypercompetitive gonzo porn delivered via a multitude of sites owned by a single company that knows if it can get a few users to join each site it can generate a strong enough revenue stream even while the pirates pillage their content. Launch a site, run it for a while, close it down when the membership numbers drop. Start a new site, rinse and repeat. Revenue streams continue. Porn is adapting. It's going to eat up quite a few of the girls unless they adapt as well. Riley's far too sweet and "innocent" as far as porn stars go to survive in that kind of hypercompetitive, gonzo porn style environment.
