The whole "black guys who are perfectly content to bang overweight, shopworn white chicks" jab wasn't very far off because Kimmy ended her "career" (which I wasn't aware was at an end as of Nov. '06 according to her MySpace blog) doing stuff mostly for West Coast Productions, Evasive Angles and anywhere else that did "chunky chicks" movies and the like. I know she was in at least two of Rodney Moore's Scale Bustin' Babes videos and I saw her in Evasive's Big Phat Wet Ass Orgy 1 and WCP's Ahhhhh Shit White Mama 1 myself this past year. I even reviewed Bacon Love under another pen name for this very site and talked about her start at Bang Bros. back when she was fairly hot and thin (her Ass Parade shoot and her Big Tits, Round Asses shoot). If you look at her MySpace pics there is one of her when she was thinner with the caption "this is coming back, I promise."

I recall her rapid weight gain (she blew up to the point I no longer recognized her and a bigger fan of hers had to show me it was her by pointing out body art) and it was even the subject of one of my blog entries last year.

Additionally, my point was that no matter what it is, it's not going to be hard to find a few people who regret just about anything that they've done. As far as I know, nobody tells these girls a porn career is going to last forever. If they're good, they might get a director's chair or something.

What it is, is a good way to earn a lot of money fast...if someone knows how to put that money to good use, instead of wasting it the way this girl obviously did.

I think that if a young woman chooses to do porn, EVERYONE here will love her, tell her it's better than flippin' burgers, and tell her how smart she is.... fat, skinny, blonde, black, we have a niche for ya in porn, and you'll be a star.... but

Having said that, you don't see me complaining about the business. You don't see me demonizing it, nor painting it in pretty-pony colors. She and Oprah share this very annoying aspect, though Oprah's version is more mature.

Tyra, as many have pointed out, is a muhfuckin sex symbol, a primary source of the world's jackin' and jillin', yet she always comes down hard on sex-related industries...except for her own. She doesn't see that prostitutes and pornstars are an *integral* part of her very own industry. Porn and prostitution fill the promise that mainstream modelling makes. Vogue is the massage, Hustler is the release. America's Top Model is the grinding in the nightclub, Jenna Loves Bella is the fuck in the nightclub's parking lot. Tyra makes the dicks hard, Sasha makes 'em explode.

Tyra has that annoying thing that some black women have: outlandish sexuality combined with Christian restrictions. Tyra is the archetype that's sweatin' in the juke joint on Saturday night, then sweatin in the church across the river the very next mornin'. Oprah has this to a lesser extent.

It's revealing how Tyra will work so hard to make younger mainstream models feel good about themselves, especially if they are not white and/or thin. But for models who decide to be nude, she will shun them faster than an Amish village shuns a pregnant teenager. She tells women to be proud of their bodies and flaunt them, but at the same time tells them to keep their sexuality on lockdown. To me, sexuality is an essential source of bodily pride. And just like if I'm good at singing and want to share my voice with the world...if I'm good at sexual performance, I want to share that with the world. I think on these shows Tyra reveals her own shame about sexuality, but without directly fessing up to it. It's like she thinks "the only way I can reconcile being a Christian woman with such a mass sinful appeal is to point out other sinners. The only way I can keep from being dunked in the Salem River is to point out to the mob that Sasha was fornicating in the woods with the brokeback. Let's torch her!"

Whereas Tyra's status as a supermodel makes her hypocrisy stand out a little more, Oprah's position as a serious newscaster makes her shyness around sexual topics seem fake. You are over 50, Oprah. You need to stop acting innocent every time sex is brought up on your show. Diane Sawyer and Meredith Vieira are good examples of newscasters who act like grown women with life experience when they discuss sex.

Oprah seems at least more open to learning different viewpoints when sex industry people have been on her show.

Side note to this thread: 50-75% of *all* women report that they they have been sexually assaulted in their lifetimes. Pornstar or not.

I was pretty pissed off also because that Tyra was putting down Sasha's boyfriend because of the age difference her being 18 and him being 31.
