My best friend just married a nice (virgin) mromon girl and they are having some struggles becasue she just does not have a clue when it comes to sex.

Are there any "sex for dummies" "sex for beginners" type DVD's or books out there?

maybe it's too advanced, but there are lots of instructional dvds available - many received positive reviews

if a picture is worth 1000 words, then a motion picture is worth... :)

Hmm..how hard can it be? And why doesn't her husband teach her? What's the main problem, Lun? Perhaps we can help

Actually, there is a Sex for Dummies book. My public library has a copy.

I was a virgin when I met my husband. We just went slow, and I learned over time. I didn't actually see my first adult movie until our seventh year together. Now look what's happened!!!

How clueless? I know of at least one girl, a 19 y/o virgin, who has NO IDEA AT ALL about what sex is about. She doesn´t even know how babies are born (and no, she doesn´t go as far as believing in storks). Very weird.

Well, without being insensitive to their predicamint...it sounds as though we're starting from scratch.

I am fairly certain she understands procreation (she is a well educated girl) but the basics of sex elude her as she has simply had 0 exposure to such things.

She seems willing and eager to learn but just has no idea where to start I suppose. They have only tried cowgirl so far and that w/out much movement becasue she is still acclimating to having a penis inside of her. (from this I am assuming penetrating mastrubation had not been in her realm of experience)

I sent them a box of goodies to get their creative juices flowing so to speak but was looking for more of a way to educate them so they can discover the joys of sex together.

I think I've found some good options in the review banks and will defenitly check out the Sex for Dummies. Thanks Yoga Grrl! and Thanks all!

If I were you I would look at Tristan Taormino's "Pucker Up" as well as this book called "The Guide to Getting it On." I haven't read either but I've spent enough time looking at them at Barnes and Noble to know that they are good/comprehensive sex books. I

n particular "The Guide to Getting it On" looks fantastic. I just didn't get it because they sell it for 20 whereas Amazon.com has it for 13 or 14 I think. So I'm ordering it from Amazon asap. Definetely pick that up. They will thank you for it.
