"Realtip" you make it sound that porn stag movies produced 80-80 years ago was just cheap shoody crap.
Most if not all had a plot, and were humorous. They were meant to be so.
They were shot silent for the most part, with a lot of title cards, but the content was not that much more different that today (you had nuns, priests, bestiality, lesbian, sex toys, strap-ons, foot licking, oral sex). The movies were short (not the 4 hour 2-3 DVD disc sets that you get today) so they had to move along rather quickly with exposing the plot line and some hard core sexual activity to go with it. The female performers were not teachers or nurses by day and porn performers by night, they were for the most part prostitutes and women on the wild side. So they were not shy about performing sexual acts. There was no reason to hold back. Nobody was shoving 4 fingers in a girl's mouth until she was about to throw up or drag her to the toilet and shove her head in a toilet bowl.
In the late 1960's and early 1970's in Scandinavia they were producing scat, bestiality, KP, just about everything you can think of. So when porn got more "mainstream" in the early 1970's with such cult favorites as DEEP THROAT, BEHIND THE GREEN DOOR", THE DEVIL IS MISS JONES, the "wild" content got toned down a bit, although some "nasty" and "roughies" continued to be made. As porn got "legit", so did the content.
The 1980's and 1990's had more vanilla sex content. Movies that rarely went beyond 90-100 minutes, women were not throat gagged, head stomped, choked and pounded for 30-40 minutes.
So you are telling me that society has "changed" and that's why we see these abusive circus sex acts??
All of a sudden, the general hc public just started to crave rough sex acts in porn movies, and porn producers were just wonderfully happy to provide it for us?
You ask "Where is all this "rough" and "abusive" content everyone keeps talking about?". It's in many porn movies (to varying degrees), even though it may not be so quickly apparent at just looking at the box cover or trailer, so it's difficult to avoid it, even if your tried hard. A producer or an actress loves shooting scenes with licking of feet, then make a movie about it and properly identify and market it as such. Why put such scenes in regular movies, if I don't like that type of content? What if I don't want to see a female performer, being dragged like a dog on a chain, throat gagged, slapped around, and pounded mercelessly for 30-40 minutes, if I don't like that type of content?
You are telling me that my only alternative is to watch Vivid and Wicked movies? I can't even recall the last time I really enjoyed a Rocco Siffredi movie, which brings me to the next point about porn content. Max Hardcore shoots even nastier stuff (pissing, fisting) which he only releases overseas. Rocco does the reverse, with many of his movies being sanitized for American release. So euro porn consumers are supposedly more "evolved" than their american counterparts? So do I conclude that Evil Angel would be more than happy to show Rocco peeing on a female performer, if only they would not get into hot water with american authorities? Or is it just a question of continuously pushing the envelop0e until even more abusive sexual content is eventually unleashed, since we now are a more "emancipated" society? The more "emancipated" we are and the more abusive we can become in visual portrayal of sexual activity??

Having a sibling in porn would've been cool. I wish I had a sister. She could've introduced me to all the other porn chicks.. hehe.
You seem to clearly come from background where porn is stigmatized as something bad, shameful and dirty. Frankly, I think live in a slightly different world, and am thankful for it. Would I want my daughter to become a pornstar? Not per se. As any parent, I think I'd want my kids to have options (i.e. education) so they can make an informed choice about what they want from life. Should my daughter choose to do porn because she loves sex, I'll support her. IMHO, if you have to choose between your daughter screwing around with god knows who for free, and her doing porn with tested talent + getting paid good money, I don't think porn is such a bad option...really.

either way, this is absolute bullshit logic perpetuated by idiots.
which is?
more bullshit.
i sincerely hope you're joking, because this is straight up nonsense.
you're the one who said it's different for men, not me. you're the one imitating moronic logic.

awall, I'm hoping that you're just being sarcastic, and that you're not serious.
If a man's- or I should say boy's- ultimate goal in life is just to sleep with a bunch of different women, then he has a lot of growing up to do. This doesn't include male porn stars who do it because it's their job.
Only if they're paid for it.
Why? How? Is that not sexism?
Stupid men do that. Only a real dumbass would throw his entire life away for sex. It's true that there are men (and women) who have done it, only to end up realizing how worthless it all was in the end.
And we should be ever so thankful for it. Without them, where would porn be?
I know why society says it's different. But society is also changing those rules. Women are becoming more and more sexually liberated. Of course, some women do take it to the extreme, but it's still not necessarily a bad thing that the gender roles are gradually becoming more equal in terms of sex. Also, I would probably have some type of objection to any member of my family doing porn, regardless of whether it is a male or female relative.
Society has changed in such a way that our attitudes toward sex have changed. We shouldn't expect the porn industry to produce the same type of porn in 2008 that it was producing in 1988. Just like all other artistic genres, porn needs to continually evolve to be more attractive to its growing audience. If that means becoming more extreme, or edgy, or innovative, then that's what it takes. There are already enough movies with plain old vanilla-style sex to last forever.
The attitude that many people have toward porn is, "Once you've seen one, you've seen them all." To prove this adage wrong, as well as for it's own success and survival, porn needs to be creative in producing the type of movies that people haven't already seen a hundred times, but that are still appealling to the viewers. Good pornographers know exactly how to do this.
It's not all of a sudden. It was always there. Maybe it has progressed to be more noticeable, or maybe it's just because there was no Internet back then where everybody could go to talk about it. Who knows?
One of the first pornos I ever saw was a flick that was made back in the 1980's. I still remember that movie, as it was probably more extreme than anything I've seen on the market since then. The movie was Savage Fury. The movie portrayed women being raped, and ended in a bloody murder scene in which the female victims massacred the perpetrators. It was not an underground flick, but a porn movie starring popular talent such as Christy Canyon, Peter North and others. The "rough stuff" that people complain about in porn nowadays would be G-rated child's play compared to that movie, and other similar movies I remember seeing during that time.
Such a porno would never be able to be produced now without a whole bunch of people getting offended and worked up over it. Now, instead of simply not watching it, some people gripe and complain if a girl agrees to let Max Hardcore piss on her, or if a guy puts his foot on a girl's head for a few seconds, neither of which includes violence. Imagine how pissed off people would get if porn was making stuff that asks talent to portray actual violence (as in acting).
I agree that porn companies should do their best to make consumers aware of what type of acts will be included in their product. It's been my experience that, most of the time, they do, such as by boxcover photos or other types of description.
No, just not seemingly as uptight or bothered by this type of thing as Americans seem to be.
I can't speak for Evil Angel, but I can't see why they wouldn't release such a movie if there were no problems with doing so. What other reason is there to censor it? It could even be included as BTS or extra footage for those viewers who prefer not to see it in the main movie.
Apparently, the term "abusive" in the context of porn is highly subjective. I like rough porn just as much as anybody. But I don't classify it as "abusive," especially since every form of abuse that I am aware of is non-consensual.

I can't stand features. I don't watch porn to be told a story. I watch porn to jerk off. So I watch gonzo. I also enjoy watching anal sex. For reasons unknown to me, anal sex tends to occur far more in the "rougher" porn movies.
I hate watching people being choked. I don't care if it's consensual. I've seen women in porn flicks actually knocked unconscious from it (not acting, but actually being knocked out cold), and I know from first- and second-hand experience, as well as education, that being knocked unconscious carries fairly serious risks with it. It is, in no way, worth it to me to accept those risks while making a porn flick. But most female porn performers disagree, and insist on being choked. And I honestly can't remember the last time I saw an anal-heavy porn flick where there wasn't a single choke in the whole movie. The overwhelming majority of them have several choking incidents.
This is what I meant in my earlier post in this thread. These porn flicks obviously aren't being made for me (or the many other fans who don't enjoy choking), they're being made for the female porn performers. No one cares about what we want to see, they only care about what the women want to do. This is actually a good thing; women are feeling free to express their sexuality in the way that they're most comfortable, and they're getting paid for it. But it's awfully unfortunate for me, because I have to put up with a bunch of stuff that I am completely revolted by, just to see the things that turn me on. That's the trade-off, as I said earlier; these women are willing to let me see them do certain things that I want to see, so in exchange I have to watch them do things that I don't want to see as well.
Most of you are looking at "rough porn" in completely the wrong way. It's not about producers pushing the envelope, or male performers acting out their hatred of women, or a massive influx of consumers who want to see rougher scenes. It's about the women who fuck on screen finally having the freedom to fuck how they want to - getting choked, slapped, spit on, insulted, having their heads stomped on, being punched in the gut, whipped 'til they bleed, and getting their mouths pissed in. This is what these women want. The porn fans who don't want to see it just have to suck it up. We're seeing the patriarchy of the porn industry finally disappearing, and it's a wonderful thing.*
[*Note: when someone gets brain damage or dies from a choking incident, it may not seem wonderful to you at the time; but you have to trust that it is.]

I think you might be looking into this a little bit too much. I think it's about money. When I look at most of these scenes, the women don't look all that happy to be doing it. Some may enjoy, but the amount that is on the check is all that matters in the end. I doubt that most of the girls that do these scenes have no clue what "patriarchy" means and could care less about it. Since the checks are bigger for the more demanding roles, that's why they accept them. One good thing about this stuff is that you can see what a few thousand gets you.
I would never do this type of stuff for what a person may earn for a regular scene. But for the right price, you can slap the taste out of my mouth.

I expressed some opinions on this subject in this thread three years ago. My feelings haven't changed much since then.
There were two phenomena that converged in the late-eighties/early-nineties that contributed to the "abusive/degrading" porn we see today. First, the advent of the VCR allowed men to view porn utter privacy. They no longer had to make clandestine trips to XXX theaters, or to visit arcades. And with VHS opening up a broader distribution network, more producers were able to jump into the business. I worked in a mom-and-pop video store in the early '90s, and I recall seeing Max Hardcore's ugly mug when I put away Adult rental returns even then. I'm not certain, but I doubt that Max ever had a single theatrical release prior to the VHS revolution.
Second, right around the same time, George H.W. Bush nominated Clarence Thomas to the U.S. Supreme Court. A colleague of his, one Anita Hill, felt he was unfit to sit on the bench of the highest court in the land. Why? Because he was a dirty old man that thought it was funny to leave his pubic hair on her soda can. Because he made it clear to her that he viewed her as a vagina with a law degree. She revealed a lot of embarrassing stuff to not only Congress, but to the entire world, and had the balls to assert that it was his fault, not hers.
I came of age in this era. At 19, I was the receptionist at a delivery company. When (as a last straw) a particular driver shoved a magazine spread of a hairy pussy in my face, with a gleam of vicious anticipation in his eyes, I lodged a formal complaint with the company. This was when I was new to the corporate world, new to navigating "adult" society, when I was insecure about everything. But I knew that guy was an asshole, that he was trying to intimidate me, and that I was fucking pissed off. I got his ass fired. His wife and kids suffered because he was a prick to me.
I think a lot of such scenarios occurred during that time period, and suddenly an entire generation of men had to rethink everything they ever thought they knew about women. The balance of power had shifted, and a lot of men were disoriented, confused, and angry. Further, the generation coming of age behind them had rules imposed upon them by school administrations that mimicked the new rules in the adult working world. While these rules were of great benefit to many women and girls who were maliciously targeted by predatory males, they also had a negative effect. Immature women (of all ages) had grounds to punish males, deservedly or not. Handing a teenage girl an anti-sexual-harassment policy is akin to handing her a loaded gun. How she handles that weapon depends on her judgment and maturity. As a consequence, many boys are accused of horrendous offences without merit.
So, you have a huge segment of the population; mainly those under the age of 50, who have no idea what their roles are. The traditional mating dance is gone, but not forgotten. Women still want men to be manly, to be strong and charismatic, to be physically capable of defending them. They want a man to demonstrate his power, to project strength. At the same time, they want the man to respect and cherish her. What's a man to do? He has one hand tied behind his back. He's under a gag order. He can't look, he can't touch, he can't speak without fearing not only rejection, but third-party punishment at the woman's whim.
I think a large segment of the male population in the United States is insecure, and rightly so. The rules have changed, and not enough time has passed for the new social order to become institutionalized. We're in a state of transition, and I think the popularity of "abusive/degrading" porn reflects that. I believe that's why it sells. That's also why I believe that its popularity will fade. As our population matures; when there comes a time when we can't fathom a man feeling entitled to smack a female colleague on the ass, or recall a time when we'd never had a female president; we'll see less and less female degradation in our pornography.
It's going to take decades for the dust to settle. I think we have to cut ourselves some slack as a society. Men are confused. Women are confused. Even if we do know what we want, we're often afraid to express it. In particular, women are afraid to express their desires to other women. Nobody's more judgmental of a woman's sexuality than another woman. Until women can let one another live and let live, we'll make no further progress on the sexual front. As long as women are judged inferior by other women for their sexual choices, we'll all remain inferior. This is where I feel the porn industry can serve an important purpose. By exposing female viewers to the depth and breadth of sexuality, the industry can promote understanding and acceptance of sexual individuality.

I'm reading this thread and thinking WTF!
With the exception of Max H. and some of the Evil Angel directors, I'm not seeing women treated like shit in porn at all. I've seen titles from most of the US gonzo studios over the last couple of years and most are very formulaic and at times frantic but I'm not seeing women treated in the way the OP states!
If you want to see women being absused I think you've got to go out of your way to search for it!
The main studios I like are Newsensations/Digital Sin, Elegant Angel, Harmony, Zero Tolerance, Jules Jordan Video and Digital Playground. I haven't seen anything by these studios that I consider degrading to women, unless you think sex in it's self is!
I shout bullshit at the OP and say his statemnt is a gross over exaggeration!

^^ I've been selling porn for over 2 years now, and I agree with Bobcat. There does seem to be less violence and verbal abuse in porn overall. There are also fewer circus acts being performed in porn lately. It could be that I've become desensitized, but my impression is that porn is becoming less stagy. I welcome that.
Of course there are still the specialty titles; the gape movies, the enema stuff, the face-fucking. But they're pretty clearly marked now. You know it when you see the cover. If the title is "Gang Bang My Face," you can be pretty certain of what you're going to get. A couple years ago, it was harder to make an informed decision if you were casually perusing the shelves. It's much simpler today.
What hasn't changed is the language with which women are described. They're still labeled "sluts," "whores," and "bitches" on a lot of box covers. That kills sales with a lot of potential female customers. Personally I should be beyond that, but I still get offended by it. Those terms are my N-word. Women can use them in jest, but I take offense otherwise.
Recently, I've noticed a big increase in group-sex sales to female customers. I cannot keep DP and gang bang movies in stock, and I'm selling them to women, not men. I've also received a lot of request for movies with voyeuristic themes. Those aren't as easy to come by, but if anybody wants to tap into the female market, I can attest that there's interest in that area.

thank you for expressing those thoughts, pagoda. i felt like i was disagreeing with you in my head as i was reading, but now i realise i was being challenged, which i like, and it's provoked some deeper thoughts in my mind. thanks for that.
as i said earlier, this is marketing, which is the same all over. this is just a more vulgar form. you SHOULD be offended. it's fucked up.

Let's not forget that these are actors and actresses, albeit sometimes ones of dubious talent, who are portraying fictional characters in fictional situations for the entertainment of the paying public. I'm sure that every one of us has viewed plenty of mainstream movies that contain what one would term offensive acts if not completely anti-social ones. The reasons are as varied as there are individuals. The titillation. the forbidden or prohibited nature..who knows? Who am I to criticize someone who wants to see spitting or slapping when by the box office sales figures it is evident that plenty of people are willing to pay to see big name stars act in scene involving sociopathic homicides. (Not my cup of tea)
As far as those situations translating into real life I can say that yes, I have been in a playful mood for some rough role play and I have engaged in verbal taunting to evoke a partner to get a bit rough, but it was fantasy and there are common sense limits. If some of these features serve as a prelude to that to turn those on who have chosen to engage in it, so be it! On a more extreme level I have a friend who is a submissive and what truly turns her on is this type of activity. She is a sensual, beautiful woman who engages in a a very active and healthy sex life. We have talked extensively and it is evident that she is well adjusted and this is just a fetish of hers. I'm sure that she as well as those she is with might find this genre' of porn enjoyable.
In short I feel that if you don't enjoy something don't buy or watch it. The actors and actresses involved I'm sure are aware of the scripts and like most things, they are well grounded in the difference between fantasy and reality.

I think the reason for all this abuse is because todays pornstars invite men to come and abuse them....they think its all fun but the truth is...if more powerful women in the adult video industry would stand up for the rights of all females, less abuse would be tolerated in Hollywood :)

I agree with you. A great deal of modern (last 5 years) porn has far too much gagging and mindless ramming for my liking. You might find couple based porn more to your liking (check out my thread "porn for couples").
I love older porn (70s and 80s) which seems a lot more, well, innocent. It is a shame however than I am so particular about pubic hair being shaved or waxed (or at least trimmed for goodness sake) that re-watching Debbie Does Dallas recently for the first time in about 17 years made me a little bit queezy.

^Interesting. I'm curious: are you involved with a woman that removes much of her pubic hair (by shaving/waxing/any other method)? There are still many who don't, though of course not so many in porn. Do you feel just as queezy about it in real life as you do when watching porn?

KillBill Id say that depends on the age group, far and away most under 30 females shave or remove all or most of the pubic hair.
30 - 40 its about 60% in my experience. and Im talking non strippers/non porn stars

Yes, I am insistent that my wife removes as much hair as she feels comfortable with (which is brazilian but no less in case you were wondering). We all have our preferences and I have never dated anyone who smokes or does not trim their pubic hair - both I find a real turn off.

^Yeah I wasn't judging one way or the other. I was just curious if you had a different preference in porn than you do in real life. Because I do, so I was wondering if you were kind of like me.
In porn I prefer the labia and the area next to them to be completely hairless, but the area above the clit to have short hair. In real life, I'm a bit less picky: I just want the hair to be short enough that I'm not chewing on it.

I don't get what is so difficult to understand or why a lack of relevance was implied. And by "far out" did you mean good, like from the 70's or something?
Anyhow, the derogatory terms are not seen as being "bad" by many of the performers, and are seen as a compliment... so box covers, whether anyone particularly cares or not, will continue to use such derogatory terms to describe the product. I personally dislike using such terms, and comparing them to the n-word seems about right - it would be most excellent if those terms were not used in porn, imo, as I think they are degrading.

i was talking about marketing language and you were talking about the mental condition of women who use 'degrading' language in reference to themselves. they're completely different topics, really.

the marketing methods will not change so long as the performers accept it, regardless of whetever their mental condition may be. and even more than that, my comment wasn't even close to being about mental conditions/stability at all, in any way, shape, or form... to assume so is just weird, imo, but if that is what was assumed, it is easy to see how the meaning was missed by such a wide margin.

This is one of those subject that I'm glad to see occasionally re-visited. I just think it's important to talk about it at times.
I think you've certainly touched upon many of my feelings and thoughts. Not sure I think all female performers are essentially getting what they want or fantasize about, but I do think most are. Just hearing these feelings come directly out of the mouth of way too many female performers to think they are all being mislead, coerced, or pushed to simply keep up. To be honest though, I've sensed that need to be dominated or pushed sexually even back to the late 70's. I just think today's environment especially allows the female performers to enjoy or experiment with was usually deemed off-limits or too much for what was thought the normal. I just hope every performer knows what he or she is/may be getting before they sign on. Over the years I've seen many female performers surprised at how a sex scene advances, some pleasantly, others, not as much.
Over the years I have found myself having to compromise with practically every film I purchased. I almost always have to see or get something of what I don't want or like, to get what I do. Probably one of the most frustrating things about buying adult films. It's what I've learned to do though. This past year does seem better and easier though. I do sense a subtle shift that I find more to my liking. That, and I think I've just become better at weeding-out what I don't want. I simply avoid themes that turn me off unless particular female performers are in them. Performers tend to be more consistent then themes or producers. Been my bread and butter for purchasing films for decades. Oh the good far outweighs the bad with some directors for me, so those directors films I have no trouble buying. The newer performers and directors do make me pause, but I use reviewers to "help" me decide among them. It all starts with one or two women though.

For me personally I can enjoy a certain ammount of the rougher stuff if it seems like the woman is really into it. I don't have a problem with all spitting, slapping, choking, gagging or degrading name calling. Some women really do enjoy a certain ammount of that kind of stuff in sex.
There is a line though where it goes from being enjoyable rough sex to just a boarderline rape scene. It's hard for me to describe exactly where that line is to me. If it's a constant degrading, and the lady lacks enjoyment, I can not find it arrousing at all. Even in some rough scenes I do enjoy I don't always feel good about myself while watching it. The industry would certainly be better with less of that kind of stuff.

I've never known porn any other way. I'd venture that's the case for a lot of women. Most don't have the patience or desire to sift through it to find what they like. I'm lucky that I've had free porn rentals for 2 years, and I've been able to figure out my tastes. I can take home a DVD that I'm unsure about, and it's no money out of my pocket if I hate it. I don't feel obligated to continue watching it, because I didn't pay for it.

Although I feel today's pornographic sexual acts are becoming more aggressive and brutal, I'm sick of dumbass forums like this. It's just another way to take people's minds off of the real problems. Gender wars, real life sexual slavery that goes on in Africa, etc. Those are real problems we need to discuss. How's people having sex on television that much different than people having sex in reality? So when a man and a woman is fucking at home or whatnot, is that degrading?

Such things disgust me! I think it is your duty to unearth as many titles that contain these vile degrading acts so we know to never ever buy those titles.

Interesting posts indeed.
Different strokes for different folks.
I have been bashed way more over the years by friends, co-workers etc who say that I am a pussy watching lame porn, meaning features. Seems gonzo is way more what most want to watch. BUT so much garbage has come out in Gonzo that you can probably watch 5 movies that are all the same. Scene starts off with 3 guys with rock hard dicks in some chicks face, then they slap her, spit on her, ram it in her ass hard, slap her ass hard, and I dunno, but the rough movies I have seen, the girls do not look like they are enjoying it. But who am I to really know?
I buy my porn more based on who is in them. I'd rather stroke to Jada Fire movies where she is riding a guy fuckin hard, compared to getting a cock rammed down her throat, tears coming down her cheeks.
I'm sure Jada does those movies, but I would rather see her be in control in the scenes and be demanding. Than he dominated by a group of guys. Again different strokes for different folks.
It is way more of a turn on to watch a woman take control in a scene than always a guy or guys. Hearing and watching Marie Luv says 'Fuck my black ass now!!!' and ride the guy hard, is way more of a turn on than watching some guy choke her and pound it to her and spit in her mouth and call her slut. Major turn off.
Features I like because the women look sexy, dressed hot and everything is a build up to her getting fucked. Instead of seeing some guy(s) dick already in some girl's face.
The movie Lipstick with Jill Kelly, Tabitha Stevens and Haven. All three were dressed hot. Loved the dialogue as well.
I got Gangbang Auditions Vol 17, the end of the last scene with Chanel Chavez, one of the guys puts a shirt wrapped around his face, puts her in a sleeper hold to "knock her out". Why did he have to wear the shirt to hide his identity? And what was the purpose of this last scene? Didn't do anything for the scene ending. Other than she comes to and asks what happened.
reminds me of the porn site cumonherface.com in the earlier episodes. Most of the guys would wear something on thier faces to hide thier identity.
For me not appealing and did nothing for the scenes.

^ Gang Bang 5, but as I mentioned in the post below the one you quoted, she was 18 at the time, not 20.

Is there a moderator on this forum?
If so, where are you? Why do you allow responses like this? Are you paying attention or is it that you do not care?
If you do allow members such as the "RandomPrecision" to call me (and others) derogatory and obscene names on a public forum I would like you to clarify. NO, THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE BEHAVIOR TO ME AND I DO NOT CARE FOR IT AT ALL!
I would appreciate it if you could try to educate Mr. RP about simple appropriate behavior, and if he does not understand, (which I suspect he will not) to censor him!
IF THIS IS NORMAL ETIQUETTE FOR YOUR FORUM, PERHAPS THIS IS NOT THE RIGHT FORUM FOR ME, I SHOULD LOOK ELSEWHERE (WHICH IS FINE) AND PERHAPS YOUR ADVERTISERS SHOULD ALSO TAKE NOTE!
Yours,
ES

@EveningSky: Why yes, there is a moderator on this forum - in fact there are several, and I'm one of them.
I find it difficult to believe that you're really that disturbed by this one random comment which came several days after one of your posts, and to which you're now objecting, over a week later. Were it really that much of a problem, you likely would have said something before. But supposing this is the first time you've seen the thread since November 25, let's examine this.
RP claimed that you were a troll. He's perfectly within his rights to do this. Do I agree with him? Do others? Well it doesn't seem that they do, but nonetheless, he's allowed to say his piece. I assume that everyone on this board is big enough that they can handle the odd random comment shoved in their direction.
Had RP gone on and on with insulting messages, then yes, you most certainly would have seen me say something. Browse around ADT, and you'll see how often I do that. In fact most posters here would likely say I do it too much, if anything.
I do think you're going overboard by referring to his comment as "derogatory (and obscene)". If you really think that being called a troll in an internet message board is going too far, I can only assume you've never spent time on any internet message boards before; calling someone a "troll" is as universal as having a wireless modem.
We here at ADT pride ourselves on being a friendly environment in general, but even in friendly environments, people will speak out with nasty quips at times. I consider my family to be a friendly environment, and I've been called worse names by family members on several occasions. If you truly feel that this is too hostile a place for you, I suggest you try a porn board that will be more suited to your temperament. I don't imagine you'll find one, but I wish you good luck nonetheless.

Usually has a Sasha Grey hate thing running all over Youtube under 300 different accounts. Can spot the writing style from a mile out..

Did I miss something? Is ANYONE having a hard time finding
pretty girls getting fucked nicely?
It seems to me that 'normal' sex is in abundance and the most basic
of supply and demand economics says if 'rough sex' didn't sell, there
wouldn't be so many producers making it.
I'm not sure where the debate is.

I think the real question here is something people don't want to ask because people have a sneaking suspicion they would rather not have confirmed. Which may or may not be true, I absolutely hate quoting insane retards but I'm going to quote Jack Chick (Just google him if you've never heard the name) I'll summarize his points here though.
The things we use as entertainment are by the large our fantasies. We wish we could be Captain Jack Sparrow fighting off the English Empire or Master Cheif defeating the Covenant and the Flood or more to the point sodomizing Sasha Grey while Rebecca Linares begs us to stop ignoring her. Jack would go on and explain that since Dungeons and Dragons (and similar properties) involve making deals with pagan gods ergo you want to sell your soul, ergo you will run away to join a cult and kill yourself. He takes the logic to its extreme and like most ideas it slams face first into a wall at it's extreme.
On a smaller scale though if you are excited by skull fucking a girl till drool runs down her throat part of you must find that idea to be exciting. Certainly there is enough porn that caters to that taste to suggest this isn't some niche (like BBW) If you look around at porn stories there is a lot of rape and slavery porn and it's not even all male driven. We are constantly told that the porn stars themselves request to be choked, slaped etc etc. Add in a generation of men and women that are utterly confused about how their relationships are meant to function and you end up with this.

Some of my friends who act/have acted in porn have told me that they are often "obliged" to do rougher and more degrading things once they are already on the set and are threatened by producers/directors that if they do not go along with what they are asked to do, they will be fired and above all, not payed.
They also risk being blacklisted by the industry for being "uncooperative" and therefore tend to be less verbally apprehensive about doing things they're not into.
One of the great errors in thought in so far as porn actresses is that they are assumed to have no inhibitions and be completely into everything sexual. This is obviously untrue. They're humans beings, and thus, like all people, like certain things and don't like others. Some people might be into B & D but detest anal. Others might love giving blowjobs but hate being eaten out. That's life and I don't feel women in porn should be coerced in any way into doing something they aren't comfortable with even if most audiences tend to enjoy or expect it.
Generally speaking, I don't care for rough sex unless it is logically integrated into a story and, if it seems particularly painful or dangerous, is done using special effects. That said, if someone is into choking, slapping, nipple clamps, etc. then more power to them and I certainly have no problem with them engaging is such acts.
The key is consent and enjoyment. If the people doing it **like** and **want** to be doing it, it's OK by me.
