Its discrimination against lavishly pigmented humans. Specifically those born in the USA excluding those who do not claim African decent.
Misnomer? I suppose you'll say it simply a choice?

I can't add anything that hasn't already been said, except that I don't think it's reasonable to think you can boot adult actresses out of the business for not wanting to work with black men. And while many of them probably won't do it out of prejudice, there are others who enjoy what they do as more than a job and simply aren't attracted to black men.
Why not just avoid those who won't and focus on those who will?
Being worried about this is a waste of time. There are plenty who will.

Maybe I'd be more ok with it all and pretend - like many of you are doing - that this isn't just plain old racial discrimination, if there were also things on girls' model cards like... say, 70% of short girls had it written that they wouldn't do tall guys. Or 70% of right-handed girls said they wouldn't work with left-handed guys. Or 70% of girls in general said they wouldn't work with guys who were bigger than 9 (or 10, or 11) inches. Or 70% of blond girls said they wouldn't work with brunette guys. Or 70% of girls with a shaved bush said they wouldn't work with a guy who doesn't shave his balls. Or 70% of Californian girls said they wouldn't work with Texan guys. Or 70% of skinny girls said they wouldn't work with guys who had a little extra meat on them. Or 70% of girls with a bit of meat on them said they wouldn't work with overly muscular guys.
And if it really is a question of who they find hotter, does it just happen to be a coincidence then that 70% of non-black porn girls find every single black guy in the industry unattractive, but the vast majority of them will still work with Dirty Harry?
Are you all really sitting here, straight-faced, trying to convince me that Katin, Sammy Cruz, Jackie Ashe and Riley Brooks all found The Minion more attractive than every single black guy in porn? I mean I'm not saying it's impossible, but do you all really believe that none of this has to do with race at all?
@NewRomancer: It's easy enough to find out for yourself about the girls being given the choice of what race they perform with in Britain. But here's plenty of sources: UK Model Agencies. Do you see a single model with "IR" on her page? No. Does that mean that none of them will do black guys? Well obviously not, since you've likely seen many of them with black guys in various flicks. Look at Blue Diamond Models as just one example. They have categories to be checked yes or no for all the things the girls will or won't do: anal, DP, watersports, etc. No category for IR. City Promotions is another agency. Again, no one listed for IR, but you'll recognize many of those girls as having done quite a bit of IR work; Alicia Rhodes as just one example. You can look through the rest of the links for yourself. Oh and it's not just Britain, it's everywhere but the US. If you're loath to accept it as fact, Google will help you find agencies in all sorts of different countries. I'm not going to bother posting every big agency from every country for you.
If that's really the case, then where are the girls who aren't attracted to Latino men? Or white men? Or is that not possible? Maybe it's just a coincidence that there isn't a single woman in porn who isn't attracted to a Latino man or a white man, and it's also a coincidence that somewhere around 70% of non-black women in porn aren't attracted to black men.
Well, I certainly do focus on those who will, but it's hard to avoid those who won't when they're EVERYWHERE.
Says you.
Yeah, I guess so. If by plenty you mean the vast minority. But it's all relative. I mean there could be none, right?
I'd just be happy to have everyone admit that the whole IR question is a result of inherent racial discrimination in the US porn industry. That's really all I'm asking for. I just want people to call a spade a spade. I'm just sick of everyone saying "oh it could be because..." and then giving a reason that is infinitely less likely than racial discrimination.
I truly don't think that anyone here believes that the US is the only place where the porn girls can say that they won't do black guys (but they can't single out any other group of guys, mind you) because the US is so much more forward thinking and concerned with freedom than the rest of the world. Maybe you guys do think that, but I really have a hard time believing it.
If you all do think that, then I'd love for you all to post exactly that (without typing - or thinking - a little sarcastic winky-face).
Yeah, let's do that. Let's have everyone here who doesn't see it as being reflective of racial discrimination in some way type the following:
"The reason girls in the US porn industry can refuse to work with black males specifically but not single out any other race is because the US porn industry is more concerned with personal freedoms than any other country's porn industry. Furthermore, it is so unlikely that the reason that the vast majority (somewhere near 70%) of non-black women do take advantage of this option, and refuse to work with black males, has anything whatsoever to do with racism, that it makes much more sense to assume it's all about personal choice."
Clamdigger... again with the "everyone comes from Africa". I really feel like you think that other people don't already know this. We do, man, we do. When someone says "African-American", they're referring to what has come to be known as African-American. When you use the term, 98% of people in North America are going to have the exact same thing in their brain. It's for communicative purposes. ntfighter is not actually claiming that only people with darker pigmented skin came from Africa, while others magically came down from the Caucasus mountains.
@Dr_Fell: While my language was certainly intended to provoke, it was not intended to do so in the way that you interpreted it to be. Why don't you take a look at what my "if so" statement was referring to. The "if so" part means that you're ok with the sentence "If a (insert any and every occupation in the world) doesn't want to work with a black man, they shouldn't have to." So if you were in the "if so" camp, you'd be saying that you think it's ok for a doctor not to treat a black patient (which would go against the Hippocratic Oath, BTW). A teacher has every right to refuse to teach the black students in her class. A governor is allowed to say that the new tax break will apply to all families except black ones. That's not even the judgment part, that's just the meaning of the sentence in question. The judgment part is one I assumed we'd all agree upon; that if someone felt this way, they are clearly demonstrating racial discrimination. In other words, what I'm saying is that if you think it's always the case that it's ok for someone to refuse to work with or for a black person, then you're displaying racial discrimination against blacks. In fact, that's pretty much the UN definition of racial discrimination, so there's really not a lot to argue with there.
Here's the UN definition of racial discrimination, for anyone who wants it:
"...any distinction, exclusion, restriction or preference based on race, color, descent, or national or ethnic origin which has the purpose or effect of nullifying or impairing the recognition, enjoyment or exercise, on an equal footing, of human rights and fundamental freedoms in the political, economic, social, cultural or any other field of public life."
- International Convention on the Elimination of all Forms of Racial Discrimination, 21 December 1965: Part I, Article 1, Section 1
The part that I was trying to be provocative about was the "if not, why not?" part.
[edit: wrote a sentence twice by accident, so I deleted one of them. Also cut out some unnecessary spacing.]

I've come across all sorts of racist people, some with swastika tattoos and the whole nine yards, who have literally attempted to kill me simply because of the colour of my skin (yes, this still happens, people) but I've yet to call Jesse Jackson or the NAACP. So I don't know why I would now. And I don't see how whether or not I call them (or any other organization or individual) determines how serious I do or don't think it is.
As far as "doing something about it", well this is doing something about it. Sharing my feelings, views, discoveries, whatever you want to call it, with other people. You gotta start somewhere.
Here's how Kimi Lixx explained it: "I have also experienced using my body as a tool, much the same as a hammer or saw, for work and tasks. Those tasks could be lifting furniture, or giving a blowjob. In that sense, sex is simply a performance."
I think most performers would tend to express it closer to the way she does than the way you do. But there are A LOT of performers that post here, so we can always ask them if you're not convinced.
Me too. If that's what this is really about, they must ALL be 100% happy with Latino guys then.
You mean, treating people as individuals, instead of grouping them into categories? Saying "will you work with this specific guy?" as opposed to saying "will you work with anyone with dark skin?" That's genius! It's also what happens in the UK porn industry, as opposed to the US.

KillBill69, you're right. It may very well be that most won't do it because they are racist. But what can you do about it? Racist or simply not attracted, you can't force them to work with black men. Which is why I think it's pointless to be annoyed by this.
I've come across a LOT of black on white porn in my browsing.

Killbill;
Though meteoric as it has been, your rise to moderatorship does not include the right to speak for all who post to this forum, much less this thread.
Gathering that you must believe that I in some way am fixated on you, please let me disabuse you of the notion. My post was in response to ntfighter and not you.
But since you have interjected yourself into the thought I'll say, that is speaking for me, that you exhibit a rather smarmy version of racism that is less loud but more virulent than the typical redneck form. At it's heart it is plain dishonest. You and others wish to perpetuate the notion that the genre is somehow a jobs program for black studs, without ever acknowledging the basic misogyny and debasement that is at it's root.
Please fantasize as you wish. All is fair in porn. Just don't claim that your fetishes are somehow heroic.

^Clam Digger: I don't see how anything you've said here is going to change the fact that if/when ntfighter returns to this thread, he will in all likelihood proclaim that he did, in fact, already know that everybody comes from Africa.
Further, I'd like to refer you to my above post where I wrote:
Note the inclusion of the word "just". In other words, it is not my desire/mission to have black males work more often, or to have more black males working. It is, however, my desire to see people being more honest for why such a large percentage of non-black females do not work with black males.
So the whole "work program" thing doesn't really mean much to me.

Look, fellas! I don't like titles where it has a racial tone to it, about some black male screwing a white female. Race should not be a issue in the American Adult Film Inustry, period. It should be about two people screwing each other for our enjoyment, regardless of color. Killbillvol69, is right, in Europe, they don't have a catergory of interracial in there adult model agencies like we do here in America. Why, because they don't care about a persons color as we do here. I've read countless of quotes from, adult film actress, for reasons they don't do interracial here in the states.
There was one, female adult star, that said, when she was doing interracial porn, in Europe, it was no big deal, but when she arrive here in the States, and sign up with some big company that doesn't do interracial scenes. It stopped completely, like cold turkey, she thought this country of ours was a free thinking country, she got a rude awakening, really fast. How, sad, we show the world, how stupid, backward thinking people we are.

What pisses me off is the girls who won't do fat guys with little dicks.
BTW, do not make it a southern thing. I grew up in a small, rural southern town with only one high school in the county. The county is about 40% black and there wasn't much of an issue. When I went to college outside of Atlanta, where 2/3 of the students were from Metro Atlanta - I found that far and away the most rascist people there were the ones whose family had moved there from the north and midwest. It was not even a close comparison. Several of my black friends who were not from the area also noted that fact. The klan is headquartered in Pennsylvania now after moving from Connecticut. Rascism is not a southern thing it is an American problem. Anyone feeling high and mighty from those regions might ought to download Randy Newman's "rednecks" and listen to the lyrics closely.
On the other hand, any porn girl is free to fuck or not fuck anyone she feels like for whatever personal reason she has. It is her body and we have no fucking business questioning her about it. Where's the racism cry to arms because there or no Asian males? Racism and stereotypes are there too. Calling out the south on this topic is a stereotype and reeks of bigotry also.
I am against racism completely. It makes no sense to hate someone just because of their race or ethnicity. It is my experience that you can hate someone on their own individual merits alone.

First off, I have to say: ROTFLMAO.

I think it's safe to say that racism is not simply a northern/southern thing. As a black male who was raised in the north and lived in the midwest, the rust belt and in the southwest, trust me: this is an all over the country issue.
I see similar topics, like the one presented by the OP, on these boards as well as on boards discussing professional companionship.
And the topic always seems to come down to black men as the ones being discriminated against.
To be frank? I don't know how I feel.
Do I think that there is some discrimination at play? For some, it probably is. Hell, for some it definitely is.
But how much am I supposed to agonize over it? If they're on the record as being totally racist, calling for a return to lynching and cross burning and extreme stuff like that, then obviously I would not want to have anything to do with her.
But the more subtle variation (vagueries about attraction, size, etc.) do cloud the issue.
And I know that if someone were to come in and state that they would rather not work with black men in any other industry, the hew and cry would be of a magnitude that few could imagine.
Yet I still can't help but come back to a line that I've used before when talking about this other places:
Porn, like escorting, is an industry where the normal rules don't apply.
Correct me if I am wrong (it might be my newbie ignorance vis-a-vis some aspects of the industry), but aren't these women to some extent independent contractors? I know, I know, agents and suitcase pimps and drugs and alcohol notwithstanding for some, but as an independent contractor, don't you get to decide whom you will work with and/or work for?
If that is the case, and considering that this is an industry where your main tool is your body....shouldn't you get to decide whom you will do (for lack of a better term?)
I've probably laid out more issues than answered any questions, but I just had to throw my thoughts out there.

Good evening all ... or y'all if you're from one of those pesky racist Southern states ... just joking, really - please don't beat me up!!!
So this "Who gives a fuck" topic is still going despite the fight to end it. No surprise ...
KillBill/ChiBear/BoogieKnight: Yes in England girls show up and do a scene with whomever. They have a slightly more laid back approach to the whole thing, to the whole industry. There are fewer big stars like in America; the big stars eventually come here or visit Europe. It's more live and let live. Why is the US Adult Industry racist? Is it racist? Perhaps there just aren't as many black men and women in the biz as there are blond WASPs? And why are there so many bloody WASPs? I personally would love to see more beautiful black women, red heads, Indian girls, Mexican hotties, etc. Let's all chant, "Diversity is GOOD!"
However, If a girl chooses to say no to IR, should she really be compelled to do it? If a girl should give a blanket yes to all types of performing, would you then say for example, Max Hardcore has free rain to do whatever he pleases without any restraint? You might say Max abuses the girls; there's a difference! If you tell a girl who doesn't want to do IR that it's part of her job description; could that not be deemed as abusive? I think we're treading into dangerous territory when alluding to such suggestions. We all have the right to say no when it comes to our bodies, even pornstars. And the porn industry offers something for all, does it not? Girls who only do girls. Couples who only work together. Girls who only do guys (Julie Meadows), and so on. Imagine if everyone was forced to do everything with everyone. You'd get less new talent and believe it or not, even less diversity.
Now, is it smart business to say no IR? Should a girl that takes cock and cum and spreads her legs, suddenly show signs of modesty? It's laughable, but it should be acceptable and tolerated. Me; I did it all and I would encourage anyone who insists on becoming an actress do to it all with PRIDE, PASSION and GUSTO!
TTLM2 - Ah yes Takin' It To The Limit! I did 3 guys, or was it 4? One of which was Sean Michaels in a crazy anal train! That was physically challenging but unforgettable.
Good days.
I'm not sure if I added anything new to this discussion; I thought perhaps you might want a former insider's perspective who ... did it all ... and with a smile on my face!

A woman in the porn industry must have the right to say NO to anything at any time...
Regardless how pointless her reasons seem to be, or how ignorant they might make her appear...
Not being allowed to say no is too dangerous a proposition...

If, I hear or read one more time, about some female porn actress, stating she won't do interracial, because it will hurt her career. I'm going to scream and pop like a balloon.
There's list of females who done lots of interracial and it never hurt there career. Here's a list of names, that I can remember, maybe you guys or ladies can add more.
Sasha Grey
Inari Vachs
Hillary Scott
Kelly Wells
Gen Padova
Teagan Presely did one
Lisa Sparxxx
Thomas Spring
Lauren Phoenix
Amee Donovan
Kacey
Melissa Lauren
Monica Sweetheart
Annette Schwarz
Ariana Jollee
Amber Peach
Britney Stevens
Delilah Strong
Gianna
Flower Tucci
Julia Bond
Sophie Dee
Staci Thorn
Sindee Jennings
Naomi
Chelsie Rae
Missy Monroe
Whitney Stevens
Lea Luv
Leah Steveson
Bobbi Starr
Bree Olson
Leighlani Red
Nina Hartley
Claudia Downs
And lots more, that goes on and on more then I list here that done lots of interracial scenes and these girls are famous. The most recent that is hot right now, hot and famous, is Sasha Grey,Bree Olson and Bobbi Star. Enough said! And they ain't hurting a bit, through their sexual career.
Oh, by the way, to send a message to some of these porn stars who make this false claim. Don't buy there dvds, period. There's a whole list of beautiful white females and othe ethnics, to support. Do your own research through the internet and your find the ones who don't care about a performers skin color.

Hey Sarah Jane, didn't the US fight (and win) a war about 230 years ago so we don't have to give fuck what the British think? Just joking really.
And FYI, there are plenty of racists in England. One of my best friends is half-East Indian and half-Belizean and grew up in Manchester and was referred to as "Paki" by every other soccer hooligan thug he ran into.

How about we create a list of female porn stars who has only done black guys once or no more than several times? The only two females who come to my mind right now is...
Jazmine Rose (Nacho Vidal's ex-gf; did a scene with Mr. Marcus once before)
Sky Lopez (did a scene with Mr. Marcus once before)
[There's something about Mr. Marcus that can bend certain ladies who doesn't fuck black men often or those who claim they wouldn't for various reasons. How the fuck does he do that?!]
I personally would like to know how many ladies in this industry contradict themselves when it comes to working with black men. For example: I've heard about Julie Night saying that she doesn't like working with black men, because she doesn't like "how they act". Yet, she's done a number of interracial scenes with black men.

As someone who's never purchased an exclusivly IR genre DVD, I'd like to know what the fascination of them is, in particular to white males?
BTW, I do have DVD's that feature black male performers, it's just that I don't own ones where the male talent is exclusivly black, or where it is made an issue of!

Perhaps calling Jesse (or even Al) would shame the guilty parties into changing their wicked ways. You'll never know until you try.
If you call the post above "shot it down" then I'm glad you were not manning any anti-aircraft batteries during WWII.
My points are always legit. Jesse and Al always come to the aid of the downtrodden such as Denis Rodman when the NBA was trying to take away his dignity or the Rutgers women's hoop team.
The real point is if there is real racism happening in an industry (even porn) get the real heavyweights of social justice involved. They got involved in the racial discrimination involving Denny's several years ago and that was taken care of so why should porn be any different?

^I dunno. I tend to not trust heavyweights. I'd rather people just see racially discriminatory actions as being such, and not have them providing alternate excuses.
But I recognize that other people might prefer the heavyweights approach, and I won't say that they shouldn't pursue it. It's up to them.
All this is moot though, since I have a feeling your suggestion isn't genuine, and the only reason you posted this idea is because you thought it would convince people that they have nothing to complain about (or something along those lines).
[edit: if anyone wonders why I feel his suggestion isn't genuine, please see the wording of his first post, which I have pasted below.]

I found this today. The power of myth amongst people the world over is an interesting subject to consider if anyone really wants to understand why we, as human beings behave as we do. After some examination, even the casual observer might recognize that myths concerning procreation and the continuation of the species to be the most powerful.
I bumped into this link today and thought I might pass it along. I'd like to heat some honest comments.
Edit: the reference is meant for the top section of the page titled RACE, SEX, AND MYTHS: IMAGES OF AFRICAN AMERICAN MEN AND WOMEN. Why it links to the section on rape is beyond me.

^Why is it that you sent us to the "RAPE" section of the article, instead of the "RACE, SEX, AND MYTHS: IMAGES OF AFRICAN AMERICAN MEN AND WOMEN"?
Anyway, I'm assuming you meant to send us to the latter section (which is actually at the top of the page in the link), since it could possibly apply to the post you quoted. So I'll be the first to bite and address that section of the article.
Personally, I don't understand the motives of white men who specifically seek out porn titles with all black male talent and white female talent. I've often wondered whether it is based in the types of myths described in this article. Wanting to observe the "hypersexual", "animalistic" black male in action.
There are also many who explain it the following terms, as described by ADT member Tritone:
Many white guys who watch IR are not interested in seeing hot, passionate sex scenes. They want to see a girl being "degraded" by having sex with black males (who they view as inferior).
This is an interesting perspective, but it may be off the mark, as it is explained by a black man, as opposed to a white man who actually takes part in this observance. It also casts the white IR observer in a bit of an unfavourable light, which in itself does not make it true or untrue, but it may make people less willing to acknowledge that it fits their own attitude.
I'd be curious to hear other theories as well.

^ I was hoping a few fans of exclusively IR genre DVD's would have replied and have given reasons for liking the product other than the one you linked to, that was made by Tritone!
I have suspected that Tritone's explanation is a major reason for sometime and it doesn't sit with me too well! I also suspect that any free thinking intelligent female performer must realise this too, I'm guessing it's a major reason why some white female performers don't want to get involved in IR genre porn!

Frankly, I don't give a shit if a porn girl won't do black men. There are plenty of very hot girls who will.

It's a preference thing, if a girl doesn't want to do a scene with a black guy she shouldn't have to

When a woman decides to fuck random strangers as an escort/prostitute or in front of the camera for money, she's a WHORE by definition and the only color that should matter to a whore is Green$$. Full Stop!!
Stop making excuses for them and let them post here and defend themselves.

If you had taken the time to read the multiple responses from actresses, actors, fans, directors and more you would have seen that the girls in question have "defended" themselves as you say, or made a case for their stance either way. Calling the actresses who entertain you, have hundreds of fans on this site, and actually post here, "whores" is counter productive and ugly. Being mean won't get you far. Are you looking to blog or just rowel people up? Respect on this site, is like a little honey; you'll draw more flies.
Good luck and ... welcome

Since it is in a different thread (Racial Sex Scenes) and I spent some time fruitlessly search for the post in this one, I have taken the liberty to cut & paste it here.
IMHO Tritone nails it:
[url=399054]...This "call me a n*gger" stuff is a white male fantasy. I saw this movie Storytelling and while the Prof. might have been black, the character was written by Solondz, who is white.
As for me, this crap about judging female pornstars as racist because they haven't done one of these scenes, is just another way of trying to cover their innate conflicts over race and women.

OK, I withdraw that w-word if it offends people and I haven't had a chance to specifically read all those posts where these 'porngirls' defend themselves. Care to provide me some links?
I dont mean to rowel people here but surely you must agree with what I've posted, dont you??

"well they have the option to quit"
Where is it written that a woman who choses to be in the porn industry HAS to do EVERY frigg'n sex act some lonely wanker can dream up so he can shoot his goo? Does a musician have to know EVERY SONG ever written? Or what about all the guys in porn who won't just cash the check and fuck other guys... are they homophobes??? (probably, but that's their choice, and they must live with the repercussions)
So big deal, some broad decides she doesn't wanna do anal, or swallow, or fuck guys with cut-dicks or blue eyes.... That's her choice... She'll find other ways to earn her money, and there are plenty of other girls in the industry who will fuck circumcised black dudes....
If her choice is not to do black guys because she's a bigot, she won't get dollar one from me. If she doesn't tell me why she won't, I'll be forced to assume she's a bigot.
"They want to see a girl being "degraded" by having sex with black males"
Seems to me you don't even have to play the IR card for that one... it's no wonder porn has yet to shake it's reputation of being degrading to women...
"I don't mean to rowel people"
DO you mean "rile"? Rowel is a noun, and makes very little sense in that context, unless you're being 'poetic'. ,-)
