It's time people send a clear message to these greedy, money hungry corporations that they can't go around ruining, and ending careers so easily. Remember what Vivid recently did to Stefani(knowing fully well all the problems they created for her) and forced her to quit porn? DP, Vivid, Wicked...they work exactly the same. Use and abuse their talent to maximize their profits, and never let them have any control or say on the material. If they think of leaving, do everything possible to make them quit the business. If the lawyers who drafted the contract didn't take into consideration that one or both parties might change their minds, then they did a terrible job. 2) Sports isn't really a model. The sports industry is highly distorted by the fact that the leagues are all essentially monopolies or cartels. The owners have agreed not to sign players who break contracts, making it impossible for a player to get a job if he or she leaves a team while they are under contract with that team. In other industries, employment contracts are broken regularly-- by employers and employees. Thus the dissolution clause. That said, I don't know what's happening in this case, and I certainly don't want to start assigning blame. My best wishes to both Teagan and DP. [Link]

When you re-upped, I'm sure you considered the financial security that a contract gave you as opposed to branching out on your own and having to find investors or financing your own venture. And let's face it, the DP work would probably mean that you wouldn't have to perform in the hard-edged gonzo if you went out on your own. I have to believe that with your new family, the best decision at the time was to renew. But now during the term of the renewed contract, you have realized (I'm sure the recent AEE helped as well) that your name can sell products and you shouldn't have to split royalties and income. And by "breaking" the contract, you can achieve this financial security much sooner, especially as your "big earning" period expires in the next few years. I hate to say this but that is why the U.S. has the best judicial system and is the envy of every democratic/capitalistic country in the world. Contracts are meant to be enforced by all parties with few exceptions. And sorry Teagan, realizing that you're not making your true worth is not an exception. Your only hope is to offer DP some terms to allow you to renegotiate. [Link]

Then after the terms are completed, she can spend the next year filming 15 scenes a month, stockpiling enough footage to carry her into old age.
