It's not that great of a feeling when the company that you're suppose to be backing has members of it's company humilating you to your fans on a personal level & making fun of you in a distateful way (ie - std's, flames, looping of takes, farting noices, etc). Well, I apologize if I did anything to upset you. It was Jack's Playground and everything was meant to be jokes in that movie, you know the series. To be honest, I really don't look at final products anymore so if you asked me in the past year what BTSs/Trailers were done, I can barely recall. There's not much more to say about this subject.

Yes it has. I'm pretty much done with this thread. Every time, I respond to a DP related post, I get slaughtered no matter what. So what's the point? It's so negative here. I just want happy people around.
you guys must have missed teagans assertion on page three about the reasons behind the lawsuit. She stated it right there! everyone knows that when a starlet signs a contract, that they make much LESS money per month than they were doing gonzo scenes. But the other side to that coin is more publicity, more marketing, and they have to work a lot less with a smaller list of guys. Teagan was (and still is) a very marketable girl on the gonzo market. So she stated in her post that she has a family to support now (2 children and a husband). Its impossible to support 4 people on a contract girls salary (at least in LA). But if Teagan were able to do gonzo movies, she would probably QUADRUPLE her monthly income (providing she was doing non condom scenes with guys other than just her husband). So thats definitely motivation for Teagan to want out of her contract, she almost HAS to because of her family obligations now. But obviously Digital Playground is not very happy about this situation....they spent a lot of money marketing and promoting Teagan and her career. And remember, she has been out of commission for 9 months....not once but twice during the length of her contract. I am sure the top brass of DP aren't too happy about that. So it's only natural that they are trying to stop her from leaving without recouping some of that money from her. This is an interesting scenario and I wonder who will win. I think we can all agree that Teagan should not have signed that contract if she wanted to have 2 children, knowing she would be the only breadwinner in the family. But still, she has a right to feed her family. I guess we will see whose lawyers win.
But I have also made them money in return & just gotten paid for a scene check & nothing else...So think about the revenue they've made throughout the 3 years of having me under exclusive contract & gaining alot of my gonzo fans who followed me from the gonzo to Digital Playground. So, THANK YOU TO THE FANS!!!!! You're support has been so tremendous!!! I technically only took 8 months off each time. As well as came back to performing less then 90 days the first time & exactly 60 days almost the second time. But that length of time was because you're required NOT to have sex. And in order to get back to shooting each time because I was trying to be a team player for taking time off to have babies I lost all of my weight in 45 days the first time & 30 days the second. I was alot more on board about Digital Playground then people liked to believe. (Even though I've always pumped up their shit that I was in). You know the girls in this industry are sensitive, so those antics were not a stellar business move. Even some in editing at DP should have cut those comments out. Everyone can state their opinion as long as they follow the basics laid out in our etiquette. I suggest the people posting in this thread read it. Constantly getting in stupid little fights will lead to deactivation. Tyler and Teagan, you're welcome to continue corresponding with Arin. I choose to no longer deal with his insanity.
I feel silly about my first post on this topic, and I think it happened owing to the shock of the announcement and wanting to be supportive of Teagan. People have posted that parties enter into contracts with the aim of serving their own ends, some of which are common and others are their own. Not knowing how production companies operate when it comes to analyzing what titles/stars/directors/mediums will bring in what money, it is difficult to judge what impact Teagan leaving would have. Digital Playground has a contract with Teagan, one that Teagan entered knowing what it could do for her then, now, and in the future. Bottom line, she should honor it or make an effort to compensate what DP could lose. I would like to stress again not knowing any facts about the situation makes it tough, and somehow inappropriate, to speculate. We get connected to the stars, as they are the ones to which we attach our fantasies. The production comanies have a right to protect their interests, and to assume the "object of our affection" is inherently right is not fair. I will continue to enjoy DP productions, and hope that what is certainly a private matter be resolved quickly and fairly. It is very disappointing that Teagan's abiliy to perform is on hold, and I wish her the very best during this period.
With respect to MM's post, I don't blame Teagan for using her leverage, including rallying her fans, in order to obtain a settlement of this contract dispute on terms favorable to her, just as DP is utilizing the services of its corporate lawyers to obtain either performance of the contract or settlement terms favorable to their corporate interest. I make no pretense of objectivity, as I enjoy watching Teagan's performances, while DP and its corporate personnel stir nothing within me.

Providing this is what the brouhaha is about but so far seems speculative in this thread,... in this second contract signing Teagan, Tyler, Lawyers, could have fashioned a clause with DP where Teagan can 'moonlight' for her self and herself only. That is shoot her internet stuff in conjunction to shoot the scenes for DP. Anything shot outside of her own productions or DP's is BREAKING the contract. You see! Nevertheless it is a rarity that a company(no matter the business) would go against their better interests in providing such a generous clause, but believe me weirder contracts have been made in the past. The WWF thus owned the rights to that name and character. You don't think the name Sable (that everyone knew at the time) would sell more magazines and products than a name that nobody knew (like Rena Mero) would? Of course it would. Thus if the WWF wasn't getting a cut of the profits from the use of their character, they had a right to deny use of it. This has nothing to do with the topic at hand, but I'm just explaining. digressing from the topic just a bit. Dwayne Johnson is still using the moniker 'The Rock' in some ventures namely movies. Sometimes it's the 'The Rock Dwayne Johnson' what have you. He doesn't wrestle full time anymore but shows up at WWE specials such as Wrestlemania. So he's either still affiliated with the WWE in some way(therefore still using 'The Rock') or he somehow acquired ownership of the name. I haven't been able to uncover information on this.

It's my understanding that he went to Vince McMahon and got him to hand over ownership of the name to him. Either that or Vince just granted him permission to use the name and the WWE still retains ownership. Not sure which one it is.
