hey bro, i just had a bit of Juelz inspiration so I grabbed a screenshot from one of her many scenes (this one from MrAnal) and came up with some cropping & photographic effects that worked 4 me. I'm still looking for a shot of her looking back to the camera with those eyes and lips as she's in a doggie position and her holes are dripping jizz. If a shot like that doesn't exist maybe i'll have to put that on my bucket list: direct and shoot Juelz Ventura in a bareback DP creampie photo or video scene. on another note, yeah the dialogue was pretty cheesy in that Brazzers scene "Buttfuck the Bride," but despite that, it's Juelz & she's getting reamed back door in a bridal dress, which is always hot, plus she eagerly begs for the dude to pump his spunk up her ass. There may be other stars out there who are "better" in this way or that, but JV has a kind of gestalt that rockets her to the porn stratosphere, for me anyway.

Aren't agents supposed to help them get bookings? I just find it odd that someone who looks as good as her and does all the various gonzo style things, is having a tough time getting work. Something isn't right and it can't just be because she sucks at twitter.
1. She doesn't market herself. If you didn't know social media has made a big impact on how girls get work. Without it alot of girls would be retired right now. 2. Part of her first doesnt allow herself to work as much as she used to like in her mid career. If I remember correctly in early 2013 she started to burn herself out and almost retired but stayed and decided to pick and choose when she makes scenes. She made a post about this on here.

well, then I don't see why anyone would need an agent anymore.. .if the girls workload depends on tweeting producers and directors every day, and pumping up their follower totals by buying fake twitter follows....... ^Pornstars don't seem to get much work when they rep themselves. I wonder if agents aren't in a sort of traditional "father" role, e.g. guy meets a girl and they like each other but he has to ask her father for permission before taking her out. So, a pornstar tweets a director or producer, that person wants to hire her, but he'll onlydo so through her agent. I suppose agents have longstanding connections and relationships with producers and directors that those producers and directors continue to honor even if agents are basically third wheels. Why isn't Juelz getting booked much anymore? Um, I'm guessing that the fact she's been in the biz for nearly 8 years and has pretty much checked off all the boxes on the "pornstar checklist," i.e. list of sex acts, has a lot to do with it; c'mon, it's not simply because she's not promoting herself on Twitter or her agent is screwing her over. Those in the biz talk about this, using the term "shot out," and there's a reason why performers are advised, to the frustration of many fans, to pace their careers.

^^On the one hand, I kind of agree with you, since whenever a pornstar shoots a first it may generate new attention which can result in an increase in bookings. The problem is that pornstars in the past who shot everything early on didn't have a problem getting work, so I wonder what's changed? Even at the height of the gonzo era, when pornstars shot one wild scene after another (and those who hadn't shot with black men weren't going to ever do it so it was off the table), work seemed to be more consistent. Someone available for everything would regularly get booked for everything (anal, dp, IR, etc.). Has the demand for anal, etc. dropped? I'd hate to think that we're entering the vanilla era.

This is a much better explanation than simply she doesn't do enough on twitter. I don't know if this is the case, however, it is possible. Longevity in porn is very difficult and very few can achieve it.
Although If I were you guys I wouldn't get to hung up on her making a lot of scenes for the long run. Juelz isn't and has said so herself she isn't one for long term in the industry. And since she came close to backing out a few years ago, this time it feels like it might be her final year. One can only hope she keeps her social media accounts, not like some girls who disappear entirely. Just seeing her on instagram or twitter or if she ever gives out her snapchat handle would be enough for me.

Well, let's wait and see how much Adriana Chechik gets booked in two or three years... In any case, IMHO Juelz Ventura just never reached the level of stardom needed to guarantee herself career longevity. (It's not the same thing as simply shooting a lot, which she certainly did at one time.) It's unfortunate, but performers who don't make a truly major impact are easily forgotten, by producers much moreso than perhaps by fans. Arguably it also doesn't help that she's hard to categorize - both by age and career length she's pretty much consigned to the MILF niche now (I'm not saying I agree with that, just that it's the case), and she's got a sufficiently non-generic look that she doesn't seem to fit for many of the more vanilla MILF productions out there.

^ Well, for one thing, we have no clue what goes on in the personal lives of pornstars (unless, of course, they spill it out on Twitter, etc.). So, Juelz might've been unavailable, for personal reasons, during that "dry period." As for this...Yeah, Adriana Chechik is a relative newcomer compared to Juelz. Thus, the reason why she's still a big deal right now, even though she's completed the "pornstar checklist." I also agree with your points about Juelz never reaching a "level of stardom" that could help her have steady work nowadays and that she is "hard to categorize." Let's face it, with all of those tats, her appeal is rather limited compared to other performers who've been in the biz as long as she has. in may she shot a dp scene for Chrisstrokesxxx.com. it's not a big company and if he paid her for a dp scene we can assume her rate is not so high. IMo she is simply out of directors "radar". she doesn't beg for work or harrass company to shoot her like most of girls do nowadays

My inner pedant has to point out that it really isn't a matter of opinion. I think what you mean to say is that this is your working theory. You might be right though. Personally, I don't think she's shot out. It seems like she could/should be working more than she is.
Word of mouth maybe? Some director hires her, some other folks in that director's circle of acquaintances go "hmm, yeah, she's somebody we could book again", etc. and so she gets a small bunch of bookings in a short time, but absent further interest it quickly dries up again. I don't think it's a particularly rare phenomenon with performers out of the limelight. It's hard to get back to a position in the porn pecking order where directors/producers will think of booking you without external prompting, after you've been out of sight for a while.
