So far I've been using a google cardboard style device with my Samsung S9. Quality is decent enough. There is some "screendoor" effect where you can see some black dots in the picture. But it's not noticeable unless you are looking for it.

I don't like having to put the whole headset on though. Annoying and bulky. And difficult to navigate. An alternative is watching 3D porn filmed in blue/red anaglyph style. You just need a pair of red/blue glasses you can get on ebay for less than $2. You can watch on any computer monitor. I like the convenience of that, but colors are off. The big sites have some anaglpyh videos if you search that keyword. I would try this route first before pulling the trigger on Oculus Quest..

So you basically don't go straight to site, look for deals going on. Sometimes sites will show deals on them by default during holidays or when they choose to. Outside of that go to vr porn coupon sites first always. It will renew at the regular rate on all sites, those are just the 1st month discount so you have to cancel. If you cancel early, they all let you keep using the sites until your membership expires so you can cancel in advance to avoid paying the higher rates on renewal if you just want 1 month to try it out.

Is it worth signing up on Naughty America VR?
Yes. Their videos are not listed on any of the major aggregator sites like POVR or SexLikeReal, so the only place you will find them is their site. They have a very large catalogue of some really great VR scenes. The only downside is last time I used their site it is one of the worst VR sites you will use. I had to scroll down 1 page as they put all scenes on one page and they insert pay ads between the videos that are not a part of your subscription. If you accidentally click on one it jumps to another place to try to charge your for that and you lose your scroll position having to click back, returning you to the top of the scroll page all over again. They don't use pages to click through, they just have a really bad user experience for VR members.

Also they word their scenes very poorly. They have a lot of VR series type scenes like Classroom 1, Classroom 2, Classroom 23, etc. But when you go in the membership site to find them or download them, the file will download as something like "Bad girl students Alex Grey, Demi Morgan, and Kitty Lynn are down to fuck YOU for the mid-semester test answers!" So I have to relabel them all to match the series name something like...

They are trying to target keywords in their titles for SEO so the member section VR scene titles don't match box cover titles. It's really frustrating when you when you download or try to navigate through their member catalogue or through what you downloaded to sort it all after. I had to look up every download afterwards one by one to rename it properly.

The plus side is if you like regular porn, the membership lets you access everything, VR, regular, etc. You can download a ton from their site easily making it highly worth the inconvenience of their site.

They also signed a VR contract deal with Jazlyn Ray where no other VR studios could shoot with her for a period of time. Jazlyn Ray is really hot and worth signing up for to see her scenes. When it comes to VR, it only ever makes sense to buy something that's going to give you the most realistic experience possible. Otherwise, you might as well be watching 2D videos. Pixelation, bad perspective, and any lagging simply renders the experience unrealistic, and thus pointless, IMO. Why watch a bad video in closeup, when you could watch a normal POV video in HD with less pixelation.

In terms of the sites I've used, these are the best I've found:

WankzVR / MILFVR - The WankzVR casting leans a lot toward college girl / girl-next-door, and features quite a lot of newcomers. Since moving into 8K, they've upped their game in terms of camerawork etc. They use quite a lot of closeup missionary sections in their scenes, which I like a lot.

Naughty America VR - Top tier casting, as you'd expect from NA. The quality / framerates have always been excellent, even when they were on 6k. Great lighting and colour balance helps add to the realism.

Czech VR - Although, the performances are more subtle (tamer) than the US sites, the quality of their videos is probably the best in the game right now. The lighting and colouration is all incredibly realistic.

The benefit of buying one now, is if you get it at Target, many stores are giving you extended holiday return policies until after January for Xmas. You just have to ask before buying what the return policy is and check the bottom of your receipt for the return date. It should show a date in January 2024.

So you can get it and use it for around 90 days and if you don't like it return it. That is a crazy good deal and helps add some insurance if something happens to it.

Also if it does price drop further, you can take it back into the store on that price drop date with the receipt and box and they will price match adjust it and give you a credit for the difference. So you get the discount rate without having to run in the store or wait in lines to get the last one. Or if the Quest 3 drops, you can do an exchange for it if you want to switch to it in 90 days. So lots of options, I would start with the Quest 2.

Or you can get the Quest 3 now with the holiday extended return policy and watch the price to see if it price drops and take your receipt and box in the store to get a price match credit in the future.

It dropped to around $500 for the Quest 3 launch which was the lowest I have seen it go to in years. Then dropped again for Halloween.

If you pay around $20 a month off and on that's $434/$20 = 21.7 months or 22 months / 12 = 1.8 years as a subscriber for lifetime access.

If you've ever went to a strip club, you probably spent around $100+ on average each time or more on dances and drinks. So that's like 2-4 trips to a strip club if you compare it to something like that for lifetime access to 25k+ VR videos and growing each year. It's an incredible deal and now with Pass through tech being even better, who knows what is in the future.

This is a playlist of some videos I've downloaded on SLR sorted by most favorited by all users on their platform. To download all these you'd need multiple 14tb hard drives, so it may be best to just get lifetime and stream them. Or just download your most favorite ones...

Pass through is where the scene can be filmed with a green screen background or the outline around the female model can be removed in a scene by adjusting some settings manually known as a passthrough hack so you can then see your room background around her instead. So it's like she is in the room with you. It is a really nice experience to test out. Having color pass through with a Quest 3 will help it look even more realistic now.

I returned the Quest 2.like they say, it's like looking through snorkeling goggles. The VR experience is neato for the first few times, but then the headset limitations become apparent very quickly. I thought the 3D content was weird visually with a dismembered male body in the middle. Then, most 3D content us geared to the sort of guys who like strip clubs. I have a Quest 2 and I currently watch movies with an app called Skybox VR, which is a 3rd party app that I paid for and downloaded. I noticed Sex Like Real has their own app called the SLR App. I'm sure it's free to use if I sign up for SLR, but is it any good? Skybox VR has the ability to adjust brightness, saturation and contrast. Does the SLR app also allow image adjustments like this? Also, Skybox VR has an A/B loop function. Does the SLR app have this feature too?

And if the SLR app isn't very good, can I download movies from Sex Like Real that play on Skybox VR? Or can movies downloaded from SLR only be viewed on the SLR app?

First, the SLR app is not good at all. It's free, but it's glitchy and the eye spacing will sometimes go crazy and make everything go out of focus. I couldn't get the passthrough in Skybox to work properly, but an app called DeoVR seems to work pretty good. The controls aren't very intuitive, but it does allow for passthrough and seems to be stable, unlike the SLR app. And DeoVR has tons of picture adjustments.

The DeoVR has A-B loop capabilities, but it's not nearly as good as Skybox because you can't fine-tune where the loop ends, unlike Skybox. You click a button to set the "A", then you have to click the video timeline to set the "B", but that doesn't allow the viewer to know precisely where the loop actually ends.

Regarding downloading, SLR does allow downloading on nearly every video, but they don't allow it for some - most notably, many Japanese-produced porn videos. That's fine, as many of these Japanese videos are censored which makes it a lot less enjoyable to watch. My download speeds are terrible, so I don't like having to stream content as it tends to be low resolution and glitchy.

Videos downloaded on SLR can be viewed on other VR viewing apps.
