^Clearly it's not because they aren't good looking because I think most of us can agree that European performers are just as good looking (if not better in some cases) to their North American counterpart. I think language is the biggest reason why most people have an issue with European performers. The fact that most of them either can only speak few if any English means that they won't say a single thing during the scene or whatever they say will have a noticeable accent. I speak both French and English and while I absolutely love it when French speaking performers talk in French during their sex scenes. I must confess that I'm less thrilled when they attempt to speak English because their accent gets in the way.
I don't think the fact that most European performers do anal early in their career is much of an issue because some US performers also do that and that rarely affects their appeal. The only issue I can see is if those performers have worked for LP where they didn't just do anal but went the full extreme anal penetration route. In that case I can see why some fans would be a little more reticent in seeing them do standard artcore style anal.

Your average European performer can't even do that because she simply does not speak the language or likely has a small working knowledge of it where attempting dialogue in English is very hard for her.
