I was wondering if anyone was familiar with Britain's Customs
policy regarding sextoys? Any info. appreciated...DB

I know we are a bit behind the times over here, but as far as I know HMCE (customs and excise) should just about let any type of sex toy through into the UK. We do get taxed on goods over a certain value (I think its around £18). Unless someone says otherwise I, like many people in the UK have assumed they wouldn't seize any sex toys.

Did you have a particular toy in mind Dumblonde?

We have a national chain store here called AnnSummers which sells Vibrators, Blow up dolls, handcuffs, lubricants, butt plugs etc etc. They are just about as common now here as GAP! (thought this may be useful)

Any leather toys over there flinty?

Although leather whips and chains are not my personal taste I know that they are readily available in the UK. Ann Summers again has a good supply of these. Most specialist sex toys stores are usually found in Soho in London, but leather outfits are certainly the thing to be seen in when walking down the street here in the UK at the moment so most fashion retailers are selling accesories like chains and whips to go with these too!
Strange as it seems British people seem quite comfortable with the bondage, fetish gear etc etc.
