| Joey Starr Senior Member Still wanking after all these years. 8082 Posts 10/00 | Hi, Just got my first order from Five Star (2DVDs without their cases shipped in a global priority mail envelope), and it got "taxed" by Customs. However I got the envelope without having had anything to pay (Sticker says £7.44 = 3.59 import VAT + 3.85 Consignia handling fee). Sticker says also : THE PACKAGE CANNOT BE DELIVERED UNTIL THE CHARGES ARE PAID. Obviously I have the package and didn't pay anything. Maybe a postie's error? Do you think I can get away with it and not pay anything or will they get back to me? Sorry if the questions sound a bit naive but I order a lot (not only DVDs) from overseas like Japan, Australia and the USA and never got anything taxed before... Thanks for your feedback! Attaching a sticker? The postie's time in collecting the charge??! |
